looking for "battd" and "libbattd.so" ICS - RAZR HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
Maybe someone could help me... I need the files battd and libbattd.so located in /system/bin (the first one) and /system/lib (the second) from the XT925 or XT926 (Only came with 4.0 ICS) in JB and KitKat no.
Is for a experiment, I own a XT621 and recently buy a 2500 mah when is charging the last 10% take a long time, over 1 hour and when I plug out the phone at 100%, that 10% drain real fast. The original battery of the XT621 is only 1800 mah and theres no problem using the original battery.
I try some files battd and libbattd.so extracted from Motorola's cellphones with lower capacity, and with some of those files the XT621 don't charge more than 50% and others drain even faster. so I think is something about those files... And the Razr XT926 and XT925 came with a 2500mah battery.
Sorry for my english, I'm spanish.
Thanks a lot.

1600mah Andida Battery For Motorola BP6X - Milestone 2

hey guys,
just wanted to let you know that i've found this website where you can buy this item for only $8.49 - bargain!
i have used andida batteries in the past for 2 other phones and they've not only increased battery life but they are also quite reliable. (eg. My x10 mini pro used to heat up when charging but with the andida it didn't)
so here is the website . check it out:
search in google - obostore 1600mAh andida bp6x
(dunno why server wont let me put a website here)
hope you all find it useful!
i need to wait for mine to get here which will take 2 weeks.
i'll update everyone on its performance when i can
Will i need new Back Case?
Sent from my T-Mobile G1 using Tapatalk
the website saids it fits original device.
so no back cover needed apparently!
Personally, I'd be wary about these knock-off batteries (especially being so cheap as well!).
me too! but i've used andida batteries for the last 2 phones i've had
and they not only worked better but lasted longer!
obviously i will check the labels and make sure its a legit battery.
still waiting for it to arrive!

It is an increase of 14%
its not a bad increase. if you can get 24hrs out of the standard battery then you can get nearly 3 and half hours more with this..
I really don't trust on "higher batteries".
Battery is a thing that, if anything gets wrong, your phone could be damaged.
battery
i bought 1 of the batteries but i have a small problem since as soon as i put on the phone instead of the battery indicator i get a ? and when i charge it it says battery cannot be charged please use original motorola battery.
any help?
any help pls?
Milestone 2 works well only with original battery bp6x and bp7x, probably because of an embedded control chip
You can charge your non-original battery with a external dock, there's nothing else you can do
have you tried contacting the supplier and asking them? that would be the obvious first port of call! maybe its a duff one.
I will try that i am just asking here to see if anyone had the same issue
Sent from my MotoA953 using XDA App
It is well known (at least in the german speaking board I am mostly active on) that the Milestone 2 only accepts Original BP6X (maybe BP7X? never heard of them) Batterys.
As patton82 wrote, you can charge it externally and use it, thou you won't see how much percent you have left nor charge it inside the MS2, so at best it is a "emergency battery" to carry with you charged.
There are problems even with "original" BP6X due to a lot of illegal copys of them which look legit at first (differences are quite small) and some online-shops sell them even without knowing they are not original ones.
Regards,
sceada
thanks for your help then
google search
I had da exact same problem with a non-original 2400mAH battery. I Inserted it and it worked fine jus' didn't show da battery percentage, simply not being able to read the battery because it wasn't an original, and jus' showing a "?" icon instead.
It was very annoying, seen as I was excited to have an extended battery to make up for the POOR Milestone 2 battery, but in the end I jus' contact the seller and was issued a refund. Brought it off Amazon frm a third party seller by da way.
Anyway, would flashing a new/specific rom GREATLY improve the battery life of my Milestone 2? Or is there an alternative extended life battery that is compatible. Someone please help, and sorry for da story. Thanks

Does anyone know where it is possible to get original motorola BP6X batteries for sure? Preferably not for a price worth half the price of the phone now
I've few of those ultra-cheap chinese batteries as a backup battery in case my main battery dies. However It looks like my main battery won't hold charge as when new and I would like to have that original battery capacity once again (plus cheapo battery backup ofc)
I bought this battery and it's amazing. It lasts for days using a stock ROM with Juicedefender... I guess custom ROMs won't need JD.

Droid maxx battery problem

hey there!
the title is right! i have a serious problem with my maxx's battery.
i searched in xda forum but i couldn't catch any same results. first i should tell u that i'm not living in U.S so I'm not using 4g LTE...
my droid maxx battery is draining really fast. it can't stand more than a single day of normal usage, the same results of the ultra. I'm not using any mobile networks,I'm just using wi-fi for internet connections. but the result on battery monitoring says that the screen is draining battery, which i dont use it really much! in the battery section in setting, screen used about 46%!!! for example i just unlocked the phone for checking it's battery,2 times in just 30 minutes, and each time the screen went on,the battery percentage got down by 1%. I was using a droid maxx HD before, its battery could run for more than 3 days for me on a normal usage! but my maxx barely goes more than a single day. what can i do? change battery? or any changing in software?
i'm on 4.4 android,not rooted.
i should add that it's about 17 hours which i'm on safe mode,in this 13 hours i was sleeping about 9 hours.and when i started on safe mode it had 62% of battery. now it's 42%!!!!!
sorry for bad english,
thanks for helping
Have you thought about switching batteries?

I bought the phone from ebay everything of the phone works normally and it does not get hot. and how can i know if the battery is original or not? (i used a program to get the battery details...it did not give me the result about a fake battery.)
should i open the phone?
(I'm not sure about this, but i think battery is original, cause in motorola forums i read some similar problems...but they changed their phones in verizon stores, which i don't have access to them)

I wouldn't open the phone up to check. if the phone has a removable back on it that you can take off to look and see if the manufacturer has put their name on it. Otherwise, there isn't a good way to check I guess. Sorry
is there any software which can check this out?
Well, you can buy a new battery on ebay, that's what I'm going to do, I'm using an Ultra battery for now, the XT1080M batteries are between 30-35 on ebay, and I consider it very cheap for the capacity.

you know,it's a good choice, but if i buy a battery,i have to change it by myself...so i should open the back of the phone by myself...and as u can see i live in iran,it takes about a month to recive the battery. so if i have to order a new battery, I have to make sure about the battery..any ideas for knowing the originality of battery by any software?

Not that I am aware of. You would have to buy a new battery and see if it helps. I suggest a Mugen battery. Have a great weekend!
battery is original
Well, they said that the way to calibrate the battery is use it until is depleted, then... when its off connect it to the wall charger and don't turn the phone on until the battery icon marks 100%, turn it on and it is supposed to be calibrated, or I don't know...
For the battery swapping, you need the Motorola EU40 battery, thats the MAXX one, a Torx 3 screwdriver, a Torx 5 screwdriver and a plastic prying tool... you can search in Google on how to open the Droid Ultra/Maxx and it's easy, if you have the correct screwdrivers of couser... Good Luck!

thanks dude,I will try, but there is just one question, I read on motorola forums that using phone until the battery goes to 0% is dangerous for the battery. Is it true? or i will do this. and i hope the problem would solve..or i have to buy the battery...
thanks

It's fine, just drain until it ships off by itself. Plug it in and charge to 100% with the phone off the whole time. . I do this once a month to Calibrate the battery and it helps. Never had a problem

Whatever app you're using is only reading the firmware of your phone and comparing it to a database, and not reading the actual battery capacity. The Droid RAZR (not MAXX) has a 1780mAh battery. There is both a RAZR and RAZR MAXX with the XT912 model number. Your phone doesn't actually "know" how much battery life you have left. It knows the voltage and amperage draws and makes an estimate based on typical data for that battery's chemistry (lithium ion, lithium polymer, whatever). Any app or built-in feature that tells you how much life you have left or how much time to reach full charge just uses algorithms based on that data. That's why you often drop a bunch of percent for no reason, especially if the phone is well used - it's just a guess.

Larger battery pack not showing much change on Samsung S3 (I747M)

Hello there, I'm completely new to these forums, so if I post this in the wrong place please correct me! More than glad to learn more about this! I looked at a few guides, and decided this was probably the best place to ask.
Anyways, I recently acquired an older Samsung Galaxy S3 I747M, and managed to get Cyanogen mod on it. (12, I believe)
The battery life originally with the 2100 mah battery was just enough to get me to 6 PM in the evening with 2 hrs screen time or so.
Now, I have a 7000 mah battery attached on to the s3, and I'm still getting the same battery life, just a little better. I've tried switching chargers (without much change), and even testing on the original rom. The original rom gave much better results. So now, I'm looking for a solution to battery drain on cm, or a possible cause for the phone still possibly "thinking" the battery is a 2100 mah one. I checked with a few apps, and it said the battery was 2100 mah, even though it isn't. Not sure how accurate that is.
Perhaps it has something to do with Cyanogen?
Thanks in advance.
With a 7000 mAh battery your phone should be stay on at least 2 times than the original one.
When you changed the battery... have you made a battery calibration? (To do that, for example, into the Play you can find the "Battery Calibration" app...)
If after the calibration the battery life is the same I suggest you to verify if you have installed on your phone some apps that are using too much battery power. (To do that, for example, you can use the "Gsam Battery Monitor" app)
Have you solved the problem?

Replacing Battery EV20 instead of EV30

Hi,
I am trying to replace the battery of my Droid Razr HD. I ordered an EV30 replacement on Aliexpress but I just saw they delivered an EV20. It takes about a month for packages to arrive so I am wondering if I can use the EV20 in the meantime. Will it perform ok just last less time.? It seems to be from Motorola.
Specs: EV30 is 3.8V 2460/2530 mAh (min/typ) 9.3/9.6 Wh (min/typ)
EV20 is 3.8V 1750/1780 mAh 6.7/6.8 Wh

The devices are different and the battery are different. The batterys are also different and are not the same size. Also the xt926 hd is a calf device and the xt912 is not. A calf device has snapdragon firmware. I hope this enlightened your understanding a little.

Thanks for the explanation
I actually went ahead and put it in because the replacement is not going to come for a while. After half a day everything seems to be working. The battery life is not good but that makes sense since the capacity is less.
The battery was the same size just a bit thinner. I do not know how snapdragon firmware influences battery compatibility.

Glad it working for you but if if issues arrive take the battery out. If you ever have any problems I have an extra battery just sitting there in a package. I have two one is the 3330 that came out of the hd maxx and the the other one is the 2530 I took out when I replaced the motherboard. I dont mind giving up one. They both work and have full cell capacity. I held onto them just in case the battery in my current hd took a crap. Also the 3,300 mah one works in one of my other devices wich holds more ram 2gb.
