1600mah Andida Battery For Motorola BP6X - Milestone 2 - Milestone 2 Accessories

hey guys,
just wanted to let you know that i've found this website where you can buy this item for only $8.49 - bargain!
i have used andida batteries in the past for 2 other phones and they've not only increased battery life but they are also quite reliable. (eg. My x10 mini pro used to heat up when charging but with the andida it didn't)
so here is the website . check it out:
search in google - obostore 1600mAh andida bp6x
(dunno why server wont let me put a website here)
hope you all find it useful!
i need to wait for mine to get here which will take 2 weeks.
i'll update everyone on its performance when i can

Will i need new Back Case?
Sent from my T-Mobile G1 using Tapatalk

the website saids it fits original device.
so no back cover needed apparently!

Personally, I'd be wary about these knock-off batteries (especially being so cheap as well!).

me too! but i've used andida batteries for the last 2 phones i've had
and they not only worked better but lasted longer!
obviously i will check the labels and make sure its a legit battery.
still waiting for it to arrive!

It is an increase of 14%

its not a bad increase. if you can get 24hrs out of the standard battery then you can get nearly 3 and half hours more with this..

I really don't trust on "higher batteries".
Battery is a thing that, if anything gets wrong, your phone could be damaged.

battery
i bought 1 of the batteries but i have a small problem since as soon as i put on the phone instead of the battery indicator i get a ? and when i charge it it says battery cannot be charged please use original motorola battery.
any help?

any help pls?

Milestone 2 works well only with original battery bp6x and bp7x, probably because of an embedded control chip
You can charge your non-original battery with a external dock, there's nothing else you can do

have you tried contacting the supplier and asking them? that would be the obvious first port of call! maybe its a duff one.

I will try that i am just asking here to see if anyone had the same issue
Sent from my MotoA953 using XDA App

It is well known (at least in the german speaking board I am mostly active on) that the Milestone 2 only accepts Original BP6X (maybe BP7X? never heard of them) Batterys.
As patton82 wrote, you can charge it externally and use it, thou you won't see how much percent you have left nor charge it inside the MS2, so at best it is a "emergency battery" to carry with you charged.
There are problems even with "original" BP6X due to a lot of illegal copys of them which look legit at first (differences are quite small) and some online-shops sell them even without knowing they are not original ones.
Regards,
sceada

thanks for your help then

google search

I had da exact same problem with a non-original 2400mAH battery. I Inserted it and it worked fine jus' didn't show da battery percentage, simply not being able to read the battery because it wasn't an original, and jus' showing a "?" icon instead.
It was very annoying, seen as I was excited to have an extended battery to make up for the POOR Milestone 2 battery, but in the end I jus' contact the seller and was issued a refund. Brought it off Amazon frm a third party seller by da way.
Anyway, would flashing a new/specific rom GREATLY improve the battery life of my Milestone 2? Or is there an alternative extended life battery that is compatible. Someone please help, and sorry for da story. Thanks

Does anyone know where it is possible to get original motorola BP6X batteries for sure? Preferably not for a price worth half the price of the phone now
I've few of those ultra-cheap chinese batteries as a backup battery in case my main battery dies. However It looks like my main battery won't hold charge as when new and I would like to have that original battery capacity once again (plus cheapo battery backup ofc)

I bought this battery and it's amazing. It lasts for days using a stock ROM with Juicedefender... I guess custom ROMs won't need JD.

Replacement battery issues (phone loop rebooting)

As the title says, and much to my surprise a cheap replacement battery i bought on ebay (http://goo.gl/y4RML) for my Omnia 7 makes my phone reboot constantly when put to charger or USB. Works fine when not charging.
Just out of curiosity, what is the reason for this, other than battery being a cheap replacement?
On a side note, the original battery weights 4.7g more than the replacement, as measured by my perfectly working digital scale i bought on ebay.
BUMP
I just bought another one, same problem. So I'm calling it quits and buying an OEM battery.
Same problem, I try a non original battery and now when I try to charge my original battery my omnia reboot
Decided to sell my Omnia......although I liked Windows a lot, the battery does not charge very quickly, it will not charge above about 90% and I have tried 3 different batteries, 2 or 3 chargers etc. all with the same result. The phone needs either a software update or hardware mods.......Samsung get your finger out and fix this problem......
I also found it very difficult to get a genuine battery, had to buy a 3rd party battery which did not seem as good........
Bump... I also bought 2 cheap batteries for Omnia 7, and had the same problem, although it works ok, when you plug in the charger (or microUSB on PC), after 3-4 seconds the phone reboots. and then boots again, and instantly reboots...leading to an endless booting-rebooting loop. When you disconnect the cable, it's boots ok.
The batteries I got were marked 'Made in China' (made in Korea for the original). Also they had a (slightly) different P/N: EB504465VB (chinese) vs EB504465VU (original)
I have tried to charge the battery when the phone is in Download mode. It works, but I'm afraid that the constant image of the bootloader may burn in the Omnia7 AmoLED screen.
Has anyone found any decent source of replacement batteries for Omnia7 (apart from Mugen, that is very pricey)?
same battery problem, so i bought a charger dock

Does that dock charges only the battery? Can nyou provide a link, if you have bought it online? I have found some docks on ebay, but not for omnia7 specifically. They say the y are universal for almost all types of batteries. Do you have a universal one or a omnia7?
I bought this: cgi.ebay.it/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=190666195369#ht_4052wt_1134
p.s.: i can't post full link beacuse I'm under 8 post...
Grazie newfl, i found it.
The batteries that came with the dock charger had the same problem, right? What is their Part Number, EB504465VB 'or' EB504465VU?
Part Number is EB504465VB. Yes they have same issue
Have any of you noticed if the battery really is 1500mAh? The packaging says 850, which is ridiculous. Can you get through a day with 1hour calls, some IM, 2 hour music, 1 hour gaming, 1 hour reading an ebook, etc, the usuall?
I'll probably buy an original battery though, as i plan to keep this phone for at least a year more.
The ones I got are very identical to the original, and they say 5.55Whr / 1500 mAh. Their difference is the manufacurer country (original Korea, replacement China) and the last letter of their P/N (thing that might explain their incompatibility).
I didn't have the change to fully test the batteries, because of the aforementioned charging compatibility problem, but I expect my dock charger in any moment, and I will provide comparative results firstly on WPBench, then on real life.
So here it goes:
WP Bench Battery Test
==================
Settings: Airplane Mode: ON, GPS: ON (forgot it on so left it on for all tries), Brightness: LOW, Backgroung Agents: Disabled (through forcing Battery Saving Mode)
Replacement Battery: 1st:02h 40min 06sec, 2nd:02h 45min 08sec, 3rd: 02h 43min 43sec
Original Battery: 03h 41min 29sec
There is a big difference (original > replacement 34%) that I don't know if it is because of the low actual capacity of the replacement battery (despite its capacity is cited at 1500 mAh, the same as the original battery), or because of the not good charging of the dock charger (although the phone index in every case stated 100% when the freshly charged battery was inserted)

It's fake. There is no chance a company being able to squeeze that much power into a battery package the same size. Otherwise Samsung would have included a 2000mah+ battery already!

The gold brand battery capacity shouldn't be trusted. Like the post above me, there is no way you can cram a lot more mah with the same battery technology while having the same physical size as the original battery. At best you can have 10% more than the original, but from my experience, most of the original battery already maxed out their capacity for their size.

replacement battery

can anyone recommend a uk supplier for a bp6x battery that the milestone 2 recognises? or ideally a seller on ebay as i prefer to use paypal? i tried one that said "genuine motorola battery" when it arrived i plugged it in and the dreaded "?" appeared and the phone refused to recognise it. so it was obviously a fake. almost all the listings ive seen appear to be copies. i dont mind a non original aslong as its recognised by the phone and works... the only original battery seller i can see are second hand ones and id rather have a new one if possible. thanks
im interested to same problem ... so up +1!
Rule of thumb is don't buy batteries off ebay.
I was considering purchasing second hand ones, and even considered getting a droid 2 battery second hand, so at least it might be genuine moto, but thought better of it and feel validated with my choice.
At the end of the day, the battery can potentially fry your entire phone the second you connect it. You can't seem to get them direct from moto, but I'd suggest contacting your service provider and see if they can order genuine parts.
I suggest getting a portable charger for those outings where you know you will need some more battery life. Get a car charger, and if possible, a spare charger for work. Than most of your bases are covered and safer too
I'd purchased 2 from a seller on ebay and both work fine - no ? icon whatsoever, even though they're clearly fakes (no hologram). Will give it a week and see how they're lasting, and ill pass on the seller ID. They're handy to have as they can easily fit into a wallet and do wonders if you're getting tore into the Friday night scene.
ive got two spare chargers, and a car charger DreadpirateDan but my original is getting a bit knackered. itll jump from 80% to 40% in one go. then 40% down to nothing. doesnt last anywhere near aslong as it used too. so definitely time for a replacement. i got my phone on ebay so dont have a service provider to contact.
thanks gogz, let us know how u get on. i picked up one of the genuine second hand ones on ebay and it works fine. but its actually older than the one i originally had lol.
hey gogz let us know how ur batteries goes then.

Holy moley that's crazy as, what do battery diagnostics tell you of your battery health etc? (if they even work, lol)
Also, have you tried battery calibration? That issue just sounds crazy, perhaps that might help?
EDIT:
Maybe you should get AnTuTu Tester off the market and run a battery test (will require your phone to be out of action for a few hours rapidly discharging though )
I scored 358 and am placed just above HTC HD2 and below LG Optimus 2X. The Galaxy S2 doesn't seem to have scored much more than me going by the bar graph - I've allways thought my battery to be shocking and potentially damaged health wise. So maybe that could give you an idicator as to how it's holding up, just for curiosity sake.
yeh tried that. the batterys just old thats all. theyre only good for a 1000 charges or something. so charging it couple times a day for over a year soon adds up. as they age the voltage becomes more erratic and it doesnt hold its charge.
I bought 2 original BP7X from ebay (and one bigger cover) and they are perfect.

BP7X is the way forward buddy. Can abuse the phone all day long and have 50% by the end with custom ROM and Juicedefender. I'm sure with light use you could get a week out of the thing.
ms2 is enough busty :F with bp7x and backcover is like to have a notebook in your pants.
i wish a batery that doesn't needs a backcover and works good without any block
This was were I got my batteries from guys. I've tested them both quite extensively over the holiday season and they have lasted well. Has proved to be a good investment actually as I sucked all the juice out of my phone taking 720 video at a gig over NYE and needed the phone to regroup after it. Hope this helps you. I also got one of those docks with the battery slot in the back to charge them up as a wee christmas present to myself too. I'm getting geeky in my auld age.
hey gogoz with that battery can u see how much % of juice remains ? and can u recharge it from your phone?
Yup. No problems on both counts there.
I have to say that I purchased one of those BP7x 1800mAh batteries and I am not impressed at all.
It barely makes 2 days without data connection always on.
Still I am using the phone underclocked at 800 mhz with screen on and everything forced at 300 when the screen is of wit setcpu.
It takes about 3 hours to burn 10% of charge
Well it only adds like 30% (or something?) extra life.. so if your normal life span used to be about 36 hours then 46 (barely 2 days) is just about right.
for replacement battery i would higly recommend "mugen" batteries. their average performance exceeds the OEMs. But if you go for the heavyweight usage, try their 3300mAh [HLI-A855XL] for milestone. not cheap though compared to ebay deals, but worth it quality wise.

Aftermarket Batteries

has anyone tried any of the aftermarket batteries, whether it be from a store, ebay, amazon, etc.
I ordered a 2200mah battery for my Infuse off ebay for $8.
I am going to try that out and see if I get anymore life out of it.
I would have gotten the 3500mah battery, but I use an otterbox and I dont think it would fit since it has the bigger cover to hold the bigger battery.
I work in a metal forging plant, so I have to use an otterbox for my work... so it is a must have if I want my phone to last.
I did order a 3500mah battery for my wifes Samsung Captivate.. She doesn't really use/need a case. I got that off ebay as well.. for about the same price.
I hope her phone lasts longer, because she can't even get a day out of it... hers is rooted running MIUI.

I just got one of them 3500 batteries from amazon and its a solid battery, it wont fit on the case because i have the Otterbox case and cant use it with this, but you can definitely tell the difference in how long it lasts, and the case fits on the back of the phone great it has tabs and snaps right in. I use this battery when i am at home using wifi or alot of power on my phone and use the Samsung battery when i leave. Great investment for $10 but when you have the case on the phone it won't do you no good.

Getting a larger battery will help, but there's a lot of ways you can manage your phone's power consumption to dramatically increase your battery's life.
Take a look here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1510745
All I've done is use the power management program Juice Defender (on extreme setting, so data is off unless I toggle it on), not use a live wallpaper, and use a Gingerbread ROM (R3VELATION). With light to moderate use I get about a day of life, and if I took further steps I could even get more out of my battery than that.
EDIT: Whoops, you're the same poster as here, so it looks like the new larger capacity battery has solved your battery problems. I'll just leave this post up here anyway since it might help others.
Would the bigger battery cause it to overheat? or damage the phone in anyway?

I also recommend to use dock charger like on ebay, i bought also 2200mAh batterys so i can charge them both and the free one can charge much faster since it's not in take-and-give cycle like when it's in phone usage.

Came in here to ask the same question about aftermarket batteries...was thinking about buying the OEM one off ATT site for $30 because I don't see an official aftermarket battery and i'm not sure I want to buy a $10 aftermarket off of amazon or ebay because of stories I hear about cheap China made batteries exploding or damaging the phone in some way
I just placed an order for this.....
http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-SGH-i...BMJ8/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1332809949&sr=8-2
The description doesn't say so but all the reviews say it comes with an OEM battery along with the charger...great deal for $30 in my opinion if it is all OEM
The thing I've read about these batteries is they don't have a shelf life. Meaning as soon as they are made they start to depreciate. Then they sell the old ones on e bay, amazon at reduced prices as they don't last as long as a freshly hot off the press battery.
I have never had any luck in buying a extra mha rating battery, having it last an extra long time. I got Chinese 2500mah it don't last that long, and then I went and got a high capacity gold 2430mah it only last as long as a 1750mah , rather I have no idea how long normal is, as I got my infuse at a pawn shop used, battery last about 5-6 hours, normal usage, but what is normal? What is the basis of comparison? I mostly use it for movies, and wifi and, angry birds which eat my battery up.
My theory is the more you pay the younger they are, a 4 dollar batter last less then a 10th dollar battery. But I don't have the monies to buy every battery in all the price ranges to test and do all that techy stuff. To me it is just a grip shoot. Hit or miss.

can't learn how to fix it, if you don't break it first
All batteries age during use.
Aging factors are temperature and also voltage.
I think temperature is well known but I don't hear as many people talk about voltage.
Charging your phone to 100% and leaving it on the charger encourages aging.
Some of the cheapo's are not as resistant to aging as the stock batteries. Common story is they work fine for the first day or two and then start to noticeably lose capacity. I noticed that when I tried out the Fujei battery.
Adding to the whole mess as you alluded... evaluating battery life quantitatively is not an easy deal. My usage varies every day.
I get a rough feeling when my battery life is fading but it's subtle.
Battery Monitor Widget has a feature where it estimates your actual 100% battery capacity in milli-Amp-hours (1750 = factory spec but actual will be different and will decrease over time as the battery ages). I think that if you use BMW and allow your phone an uninterrupted charge from low voltage like 20% up to 100% (without using the phone during that period), then it will develop a pretty good estimate of your battery 100% milli-amp-hour capacity (because our phone does have a charging current monitor which BMW accesses, but it does not have a battery discharge current monitor). That's a lot of work, but probably not a bad thing to do once a month to keep track of your capacity so you'd see a trend like 1750 one month, 1700 the next month, etc. I might start doing that some day..
3500mAh Battery
It's been a week, and my battery life is going UP. I plugged in today, and at 1931 hrs today, I still had 61% of my battery life left. I have not had any appreciable decline in battery life, nor reduction in longivity. With the stock battery, my phone is completely dead by 1715. I unplug daily at 0800. My battery life has easily doubled by purchasing a no-name battery from an Ebay seller. I'm quite impressed with it, and I spent $80 on an extended battery when I had my TP2.
Has anyone try those 2500 mah batteries from ebay? I am interest in buying those since they are only 4 USD each. What do you guys think?

Anker 1600mAh in UK

One seller on UK eBay has the Anker 1600mAh DZ battery for £7.39 inc postage. That is a bargain price by anyone's standard, so I thought I would give it a try.I was half assuming that it would be poor quality or a knockoff etc.
Had it for a week now. First 3 or 4 charges I was very careful to charge fully overnight and then let it run down to at below 15% before plugging it in again. Full charge/discharge cycles are good for battery calibration and the good for the battery itself (apparently?!)
I have been trying out lots of different ICS betas recently and they have been chewing through my battery pretty quick. Also my stock battery is the one that came supplied with my DZ over a year ago so it was a little tired.
I always charge overnight. On my tired stock battery I would just about get through the working day and would likely need to plug in around 7:00 if I wanted to use/tinker with my phone in the evening. With the Anker I am easily getting through to the evening without going near a power point. So can get all the usage I need on a single overnight charge - perfect!
What I cannot comment on is what performance I would get from a new stock battery. Obviously it might be just as good or even better but for this price these Ankers do a very good job.
I've just ordered two more and a second replacement backplate. Guess I'm coming to terms with the fact the HTC are not going to release a high build quality, high spec, qwerty slider in the near future So we better stock up on spares/consumables whilst they are abundant and cheap
I just started using an Anker battery last week and so far it's working quite well. I've heard that non-oem batteries can lose their capacities faster so I intend to do a rigorous retest a year later.
I'd avoid buying up batteries for use in the future though. Lithium Ion batteries age with time as well and will lose capacity even without use.
For now though, it does seem to come close to the claimed capacity which was nice. I did some tests that were more controlled than simply using it for a day:
Code:
ILWT 285
1.5GHz Performance
Airplane Mode
Minimum brightness
MX Player SW Fast
Stretch Mute
Battery discharged to 89% before recharging back to 100% waiting for the trickle recharge to stop before starting video and unplugging.
Device running until 15% warning which is dismissed and then run until device auto shuts off.

Hi,
I recently bought the Anker 1600 and let AnTuTu Battery Tester run trough and got a Score of 630. In the AnTuTu Score Statistics it seems to be very good...
I am on Andromadus Beta3 (ICS) @1200Mhz
Don´t know what is this in comparision to the stock battery - I didn´t let the test run trough, maybe later. My stock batt is already over 1 yr old and I charged it almost every day or every 2nd day - so I don´t know if the result would be comparable...
Anyone knows about AnTuTu results of the stock battery?

you should test it with the exact rom, got 466 with andromadus on a new installation 768mhz, can't exactly remember other settings.
I'm seriously thinking of getting a new battery.
Anker doesn't need sanding or an extended battery cover, right? can't understand why the OP needed to buy a new one
No it fits fine with the original cover and is quite cheap as well - bought it at Amazon for abour 13 EUR including shipping. I think 466 is not so bad but I feel that Andromadus rom needs a lot of juice too.
With the new Anker I´ve got more or less the same duration like on cm 7.1 stable with stock battery...
Just got my anker in, excited. It fit perfectly, was @ 67% when I put it in, going to charge it all the way up and see what kind of results I can get with this badboy.
I don't know why but I'm going to trickle charge down to 75 then back up, then down to 50 then back up then let it roll. Me just being stupid.
Sent from my HTC Vision using xda premium
After a couple of recharges now I think the Anker is even getting better - but I am not getting more than 4hrs "screen on" @Andromadus. But for a 10EUR battery not bad.

I just started using an Anker battery last week and so far it's working quite well. I've heard that non-oem batteries can lose their capacities faster so I intend to do a rigorous retest a year later.

Hi guys
Could you guys please post here (or msg me) the ebay item number or seller name, etc for this Anker battery?? As even as a highly experienced ebayer with an account now for 11 years old, i find battery buying a complete minefield ........ sooooo many fakes that ebay take no action about.
So if am gonna try one of these, i'd at least like to get a genuine one.
Thanks

This is the one I bought yesterday:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/220928813853
The seller gets good feedback from this and other forums and I'm pretty sure the batteries are genuine Anker. I believe it's the same seller as MaxWiz used as they were selling the same battery for £7.39 in February.
Can anyone please tell me how to get the best from a new battery? I hear different opinions on 'conditioning' batteries and do's and don'ts of charging/discharging.
Damn good service from the seller! Bought on the Sunday, dispatched on the Monday and arrived this morning. One working day as opposed to the advertised 5-7.
From the packaging, it looks genuine. The seller also uses Amazon marketplace which is probably why it came in Amazon packaging. Learned that 4-5 full charges and full discharges is the right way to treat a new battery so that's what I'll be doing.
I wouldn't fully discharge as its not good for it. Do a little more research, you'll find differing ways but the authorities on lithium ion batteries will tell you a full discharge is unhealthy

Thank you
As you mention, I've seen a variety of methods, some quite elaborate. The manual that comes with the Anker battery says 4-5 full charges/discharges.
Based on your knowledge, at what percentage would you recommend plugging back the charger?
15 to 20%

Thanks, I'll do that.
I made the mistake of not charging it for several hours before letting it discharge. I unplugged when it got to 100% and let it drain to 84% before I read that the first charge should be several hours. I've plugged it back on charge again and will leave it overnight before unplugging. Hope I haven't knackered the battery
I'd also like to buy a battery, but it seems that the eBay seller from the link posted by Chem23 does not ship to Romania.
D'you have any recommendations as to what should I order, that ships to continental Europe (and Romania)?
Just like to say I love this battery. I can easily get 12-13 hours of heavy, heavy use with it. The best I've gone with intermitted heavy use is 22 hours. That is definitely a far cry from the 8 hrs maybe I would get with the stock battery.

The same seller sells via Amazon as LaptopMateUK. It may be worth looking at Amazon and checking if he can ship to Romania. Good luck!
Just got one of these, looking good so far, been very disappointed with the stock batterys inability to cope with all my tinkering and screen on time, hoping this will be the answer or at least a competent spare to keep in my wallet....
Checked Amazon but shipping is pretty expensive to Romania, higher that the battery itself... I'll check a few local stores, maybe one'll have this battery for sale.
I didn't find any other stores online where they send to the Europe mainland, and since i don't have a creditcard, I'm not able to buy on amazon. Anyone has any ideas where to get it instead?

Help with a new battery

I recently bought a new battery for my Desire.
I bought it here: http://www.ebay.it/itm/Batteria-Goo...0449218580?pt=IT_Accessori_Cellulari_Batterie
In the picture of the page the battery is 1400mAh, the one I received is 1600mAh.
By the way, the problem is that is has a strange behaviour:
the first 65% of the battery is consumed in a little time, the remaining 35% last a lot of time!
In addition before to shut down, the percentage continue going up and down near 18%.
Is the battery a low quality item (sure it is low price), but what can i do?
I tried to calibrate it with this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...xLDMsImNvbS5uZW1hLmJhdHRlcnljYWxpYnJhdGlvbiJd
cheap and poorly made battery
cheap and poorly made battery...
i have one and use it as backup battery for long trips
could not find any way to make it show real charge values
so i measure it by time of use
not accurate but definitely cheap
So, it's better buying a new battery that can be calibrated...
Thanks for help!

Cheap battery
Try to use for some days with full charge and check if there is any change...
So, can you advice me a new battery?
I want a standard dimension battery, that can fit in the place of stock battery.
Thanks!

I recommend 1600mAh PolarCell Battery from eBay, seller is "wannsee-electronic" (Germany).:good: I can't post link because I have to little posts
I'm very satisfied with lasting of battery (double time than my 1.5 year old original), only thing is that I can't charge it till 100%, always stops on 99%. Even after formating battery stats and calibration. Actually I do not care.
Battery suggestion
Hey there
Very recently, I ordered an extended battery for my Desire. Here's the link:
w w w . amazon.fr/gp/product/B003ZVDX1Y/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00
(I live in France, not french though, which explains why it's amazon.fr)
I still haven't received the battery, but the vendor reviews are all very encouraging, and it's pretty cheap compared to a Mugen battery.
If you live in the US, check out on amazon.com a vendor called Anker. They sell all kinds of batteries, at low prices and their products are apparently worth the try, at least that's what their reviewers say.
w w w . amazon.com/s/ref=bl_sr_wireless?_encoding=UTF8&field-brandtextbin=Anker&node=2335752011[/url]
When I get the battery, I'll make sure to post here it's performances.
Hope I helped.
Caesar
Ok, thanks! I'll take a look!
By the way, after some cycles of charge, the battery continues to show "self charges".

I want only standard battery, not bigger battery!
By the way, I think I will buy the polarcell.

I bought one of these http://www.amazon.co.uk/HTC-Desire-Standard-Battery-1400mAh/dp/B003QQ28U0 almost 3 months ago and it has been great, get good performance and can actually let it go down to below 10% (my original battery would sometimes completely discharge from around 25%).
you may have bought our chinese second hand battery. some chinese factory bought second Li ion Batteries in a very low price and clean them, repack them then sell them in a higher price. so, be careful next time~
