Tether and call issue - T-Mobile LG G2

I've noticed a few times that while I am tethering to my tablet just fine on 4g then I get a call and speed of the tether goes to almost nothing. It doesn't always happen, so what is going on?
I apologize profusely if this is posted in the wrong place as I am using the xda app.
Thanks
Gilon

How Do I Ensure My Inspire Isn't Emitting 3G?

i got my inspire 4g unlocked and working - finally! and i know it doesnt have 3G cuz its unlocked. but i want to make sure its not trying to connect to a 3G network and hence, drain my battery. is there a way to check that its not trying to capture a 3G connection?
also, how cna i check the web using 2G?
What network are you on? and just go to the browser and surf the net.

trapzz I told you in a previous post actually how to do it. It is the only way I know to stay on 2G and not use 3g. Remember the code *#*#4636#*#* in your phone dialer, then select "phone information" then set "Set preferred network type" to "GSM only".
You should be posting Questions in the Questions and Answers section and not the General section. If you don't start posting correctly the admin will stop you from posting at all. Just trying to give you a friendly warning.

i dont have a handbook in front of me telling me EXACTLY where to post my question on the forum. i post my question in the most relevant place possible to the best of my judgement. i appreciate the warning, but seriously, this is the 10th time i have been told to post in the right section. and thats what i've been doing. i really dont understand why i cant post this question in this section. next time before i post a qestion, i'll ask you or someone else where i should place my question. this is really getting ridiculous.

You have been warned by plenty of people. I wont argue with you but will say you don't need handbook to tell you where to post. Its pretty easy to tell. The section named inspire Q & A should be all the direction you need.

[Q] Help finding a good Jellybean ROM?

Hi everyone,
I obviously own a Samsung galaxy s 3. I've been playing around with ROMs recently, and found that I do really like CleanROM. However CleanROM, like most of the other ROMs I have tried to use have god awful GPS support. Typically this wouldn't be a big big downfall, but I'm moving in a few weeks and will need navigation just so I don't get lost haha
Anyway my question is this: does anyone know of a good, lightweight ROM that GPS actually works on? +1 internets to people who help me out
Thanks!

I just jumped onto that page and I will try this ROM tonight and report back
I'm on synergy 169 and my GPS is fine. Not a lot of people actually turn it on. Most people turn on the gos but I'd you go to settings scroll down to accounts then select Google then location settings then make sure box if checked to allow Google as pps to access your location. First time connecting to navigation took about 5 min. Maps located instantly but navigation always takes longer.

Reporting back, I like CleanROM so much I decided to just check and see if there was an updated version. Turns out there is (5.6 ad opposed to 5.5.1 that I had) I'm on the car on the way to work now and GPS is working fine. I'll check out Synergy as well as the person above me said. Thanks everyone!
if youre ever in GPS issues download gpsfix from the market, get a lock and your issue should go away.
Anyone know of a fully working TW ROM that has multi-window enabled?

I did do a search, I've looked through hundreds of posts in the past week. Synergy has multi-window, but cant scroll though 1000 pages to see what the bugs are (OP doesnt list current bugs), easier for me to post in Q&A section. Dam, if you post a question related to the ROM in the development thread you catch crap, if I post in Q&A, I catch crap. Make up your mind.

No 4g signal

My brother recently purchased an S3 off ebay to replace his Droid Razr. The reason for replacing the Razr was that he couldn't get any 4g on it. I gave him my gnex to use while his S3 arrived and he had perfect 4g on it. Now that his s3 arrived he has no 4g yet again but is able to recieve 3g signal. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
also, if this thread is in the wrong place then mods feel free to move it.
Probably should go in q&a since it's a specific question but at least it's not in development
My guess would be it's a bad sim or defective phone. Have you tried to reprovisioning? There should probably be a guide in the sticky by droidstyle or just use the search.

I would try the new sim. I had that once before too. It is weird but I had it work for me.

If you are rooted try different modem/rpm and if that doesnt work see about the sim card. Just make sure you go back to stock before you go to verizon
Maybe start really simple with - is the phone's Verizon account setup for 4G?
If it is a stock S3 you should be ale to make it Verizon's responsibility to make it work.

[Q] Phone Won't Switch to 4G LTE For Sending MMS Messages

New to posting on the forum, but been a member for awhile. I searched all forums, and could not find an answer, so I'm asking for some help.
I have a unlocked rooted Verizon Galaxy S3. Flashed the Hyperdrive Rom. Love it. Except one thing. When I want to send a picture MMS message, or when I receive them, it will fail to send or receive when I'm connected to Wifi. If I turn off Wifi, 4G LTE kicks on and then I can send and receive MMS. With the stock Rom, I remember it doing this automatically. Please help because it is really annoying.
Things I have tried to fix this. 1. Reflashed the Rom. 2. Turn data off then back on. 3. Turn mobile network off then back on, 4. Tried different contacts thinking it could be a certain person who maybe just couldn't receive them. 5. None of these have worked.
Same thing for me on PAC. Hope someone has an answer

That's weird... Haven't had that problem on AOKP.
Also, if you know this is a question, and even so much as put a [Q] in the title, why not post in q&a section which is meant for questions where the general is got general stuff like randomness as is often seen. Questions, and that means all of them, go in q&a.
