[KITKAT] Rom For [Spice mi-515]
Hi
I have seen many people asking for android 4.4(kitkat) rom for spice mi-515
So here is 4.4.2 rom
First and most important thing is that if you dont know what you are doing then please dont flash this rom. I will not be responsible for any phone bricks or blasts silly:

1.Stable rom
2.init.d scripting support
3.kernel-level ROOT
4.busybox inbuilt
5.And many other optimizations
6.ViPER4android FX for sound with walkman app built-in
7.Has a bit touch of cyanogenmod (bootscreen, wallpaper, etc.)

Bugs
1. Camera doesn't works properly(use night mode for better)
2.Radio is not working
After flashing the rom everything will be in chinese dont panic go to setting and change it to english:victory: also delete all the other chinese apps disable them if cant uninstall to make your phone full english. Use other keyboard apps like swift key as the default will be chinese keyboard.

its the modded one but has looks of stock android

it looks like stock rom but it is modified. Did not experience any battery drain
Friends someone plz tell me how to install this rom on coolpad .m having problem getting usb drivers plz also link driver for this fone . A simple step by step method would be easy to understand. M doing this first time on this fone . I had cynogenmode the sony fone once before.

i looked in the internet and my phone is the same as coolpad 7295 and which is the same as spice mi 515
so can i flash this rom on my phone Idea Ultra?
i tried this one doesnt work

He just said this one doesn't work. You have been popping up with all these desperate pleas in multiple threads, including a thread that doesn't even go with your device. i want one working rom where i can get get english language i had installed & checked chinese rom but when composing message or mail it shows chinese language
i had checked all below rom but none is fullfil my requirement which is only root & worked properly with some fantastic feature & display

Then don't search among custom roms cos they are simply known to be as slimmed as possible but still stock. Enjoy the stock. It has every feature to satisfy your needs I guess.
My favorite projects are: GLX-R and Lidroid due to their possibility to be customized.

Lol yeah man it was TheFrankenstain^MOD 1.0 which had Chinese Apps issue and Keyboard issue. Update it to MOD 1.1 and these problem will be gone. I think you will like the MOD 1.1

Only on this ROM?.. Try flashing stock FW.. If issue is still there take it to nearest SSC.

try titanium rom...i am using it too...it works like a charm...dont forget to flash version 2.1( v2.1 ) after flashing v2.0....its very fast....

This Rom GooPhone, golimy fake, with 4.2.1 on board... I had fun ported to its device, and long laughing... Bravo, chinese guys, you inimitable.:laugh:

Phone not detected when flashing..just keeps charging!
I admit I am a complete novice..I followed all instructions but the flash process does not start! When I click "download" and connect my phone through usb, nothing happens after that. I have installed the driver, tried connecting phone without battery, then replacing battery after few seconds,... still nothing! I have tried other roms as well, but I am always stuck! The phone simply keeps charging with the charging icon on the scree. I am using Windows 8..could that be the problem? I am sure I am missing something...Please help!

Try to connect the phone after you have clicked the download with battery in place, this is very important . Some people do have problem with windows 7 and windows 8..if you don't succeed, then try Windows xp...

Thank you for the Lewa rom, it is great, and I used it in my ZTE blade. The ZTE blade version of the lewa rom sent data to China and some guys find a way to fix it. Does this happens also with this rom?
Is this ROM useable for the zp950+ 16 gbyte Version?
Btw is it already rooted?
Since I have installed Karl1 ROM, I guess this Rom also works on 16gb version.

a 'different' kind of rom, as most folks know. too much proprietary stuff in here.
the rom zip is also different from the dev's other rom. maybe it's the customisation.
out of curiosity and wanting to delete unwanted stuff, i opened the rom zip....
well, i tried 3 'variants' of the rom. all of them installed and booted fine.
1. with some stuff removed from /system/app
2. with the /data folder deleted
3. the rom, as downloaded.
in the first 2 cases, even basic customisation is not possible. in the 3rd case, too many notifications despite turning them off.
in short, i couldn't further customise the rom to my liking. needless to say i reverted to stock.
forgot to mention i got system ui fc on all 3. i don't recall the exact situations, though.
thanks for the effort. i'm sure there'll be a few takers for this rom. i'd like to read about their experiences.

i saw that too. dunno what's gonna happen when that update is applied.
if you're gonna update, make sure you have a nandroid backup at hand - to revert, if required.
i couldn't find a way to disable that update-check. also, too much of baidu/xiaomi interference.
a simple thing as trying to set your desired ringtone fetches a load of chinese [email protected] from their servers.
maybe i shouldn't complain; i really didn't spend enough time with the rom to judge harshly.

Its totally a stock MIUI.
So it has many chineses apps (which u can delete without harm)
Dont even bother about about the update
see the picture closely
one word weekly
tell u everything:laugh:
Just switch off that notification.
Just use wsm tool -the exposed of MIUI.
install MI tools, theme authentication
and good togo
My phone looks like almost iphone with ios theme.
Its ok if u dont liked it

Battery backup is amazing
12 hours of moderate usage only 40% drain its great
Only problem I found when ever I take pic from default camera its viewable, it say like no tumbnail. Is there any solution for that. At present I'm using other camera app

And update was available for 4.7.11(weekly build), downloaded. It was about 400MB or so. When given update after download, it reboots to recovery and tries to flash but its gets a error message which persist only for a blink of a sec and reboots back to present version. Couldn't even read what's the error

Try clearing chache of camera app.
settings - apps - camera app - clear data - clear chache.

U shouldn't update like that.
the rom has to be modified.
As they release roms each week updating is just not possible.

Unable to use camera after flashing from kitkat. I dont know what is the problem. flashed the patch file also. tried with other roms. But no JB roms working when flashing from Kitkat

when move app to sd card it works but after i reboot my phone the app vanishes

The only thing is not working is the FM radio, I reboot the phone it workeds but got bugged it means the radio can be heared in speakers and in headphones at the same time.
Other issue is with link2sd, it takes too long when you enter to storage info. And a strange overheathig started from no were, beside that everything is fine.
i cant mout usb is it again for me only
until now the rom is 5 stars
anyone tried Xposed?

hahaha i m trying all bugs i dont knơw evẻything is working fine for me i have tried that missing app bug after moving to sd card....i have tried otg...i mean everything is working...i have tested this ( as u know) alot buy i will take a look at it again now i tried my best to makw this rom more stable
only problem i face is my vpn is not working :!

if you dont believe i can send you a video proof
and in cm...by default no mount option available in storage for usb in some builds but you can download stick mount app from playstore and it is working

Bro i m having no problem regard your issue...how can i fix it...
hahaha you can remove that keyboard and its not an indian keyborad i use it as it has many got skins and take less resources

I have same problem. if remove and remount sd card the apps will now show again as installed.
Its the only issue so Far.
I believe the problem when we boot the phone is that all initializes before searching apps in Sd card. Maybe some tuning on kernel settings help delaying boot until search sd card??

performance and battery life is far better than any other eui and other custom rom
i got this link in a leeco le2 whatsapp group.
i m using it since last 3 days , its just awesome

Final question, I flashed this ROM and it was very smooth but I decided to go back to stock but the new boot screen (with Italian colour scheme) is not going away, any tips?
