How to Flash:-
Note:
I Will Not Be Responsible For Any Brick or Any Problem.....So Flash At Your Own Risk. This ROM only flashes System & Data partitions and DOES NOT change anything else so chances of brick are 0 but still, please keep CWM Backup ready which will be used if you find issues in the ROM so that you can revert
STEPS :
1. Put the ZIP into the ROOT of External/Internal SD Card
2. Go to CMW Recovery
3. Wipe Data
4. Wipe Cache
5. Wipe System
6. Wipe Dalvik Cache
7. Select Install From SD (Internal or External)
8. Select the zip file and Select YES
9. If in CWM select OK
9a. Flash patch 01.
10. Reboot Your System

a 'different' kind of rom, as most folks know. too much proprietary stuff in here.
the rom zip is also different from the dev's other rom. maybe it's the customisation.
out of curiosity and wanting to delete unwanted stuff, i opened the rom zip....
well, i tried 3 'variants' of the rom. all of them installed and booted fine.
1. with some stuff removed from /system/app
2. with the /data folder deleted
3. the rom, as downloaded.
in the first 2 cases, even basic customisation is not possible. in the 3rd case, too many notifications despite turning them off.
in short, i couldn't further customise the rom to my liking. needless to say i reverted to stock.
forgot to mention i got system ui fc on all 3. i don't recall the exact situations, though.
thanks for the effort. i'm sure there'll be a few takers for this rom. i'd like to read about their experiences.

i saw that too. dunno what's gonna happen when that update is applied.
if you're gonna update, make sure you have a nandroid backup at hand - to revert, if required.
i couldn't find a way to disable that update-check. also, too much of baidu/xiaomi interference.
a simple thing as trying to set your desired ringtone fetches a load of chinese [email protected] from their servers.
maybe i shouldn't complain; i really didn't spend enough time with the rom to judge harshly.

Its totally a stock MIUI.
So it has many chineses apps (which u can delete without harm)
Dont even bother about about the update
see the picture closely
one word weekly
tell u everything:laugh:
Just switch off that notification.
Just use wsm tool -the exposed of MIUI.
install MI tools, theme authentication
and good togo
My phone looks like almost iphone with ios theme.
Its ok if u dont liked it

12 hours of moderate usage only 40% drain its great
Only problem I found when ever I take pic from default camera its viewable, it say like no tumbnail. Is there any solution for that. At present I'm using other camera app

And update was available for 4.7.11(weekly build), downloaded. It was about 400MB or so. When given update after download, it reboots to recovery and tries to flash but its gets a error message which persist only for a blink of a sec and reboots back to present version. Couldn't even read what's the error

Try clearing chache of camera app.
settings - apps - camera app - clear data - clear chache.

U shouldn't update like that.
the rom has to be modified.
As they release roms each week updating is just not possible.

Unable to use camera after flashing from kitkat. I dont know what is the problem. flashed the patch file also. tried with other roms. But no JB roms working when flashing from Kitkat

New update: I was angry, threw my phone against the wall. This broke while doing so:
* sim card slot (no more 2g/3g data)..no signal whatsoever
* sd card slot damaged, not completely dead
* camera engine is messed
Therefor: I quit developing/updating the roms I have ported/made so far. Everyone (including other MTK porters, and everyone else who could use my roms) is allowed to take my rom, modify it, re-upload it (if you edited it ofcourse) and all other stuff you wish to throw at the roms. If you do, please quote me in the credits...you know..the usual...

The roms that are not suitable for daily use will not be uploaded! This is so I can take my time to work on them, without people asking for bugfixes or anything. Also, if you want to mod or port my rom to your device; please ask first!
Here's what you need to do to install any of these roms:
Install CWM recovery:

Wipe data/cache/dalvik
Install rom

As always, let the Rom settle for about 48 hours. Don't expect the rom to be at best when you just flashed it.
If you encounter a problem with my roms, I'm happy to help. But please, be specific with the problem you have: what did you do (the steps you took untill the problem occured),what rom, all the stuff that might help.

I haven't made the 'Rom' available for download yet. I'm testing if I can make a flashable zip first.

Great News!
Better Camara and Batt is priority for this moment, for me is important too better Manager of Storage Memory and SD Card, anyway great job. For my conclusion i have Dual SIM and batt working the same for one SIM or two. I dont use games, but phone and apps working smooth. Great GPS (30 sec with Maps), Sound :good: and i need little more option in Setting (like in CM) for example wakeup phone with Volume Button
How do you mean better memory management? As in, more free memory, or faster app loading and such? I've put in a few tweaks for that too, i might make a list. As for screenshots, ill make some in a moment and upload it

I think more free memory of Internal Storage, its very limited for apps when is imposible install on SD Card and clear cache is daily.

Cwm is really hard to do. I'm not a developer at all. Also this is an mtk phone, not very popular in dev land bacause there are so many phones for it. Your best bet is to ask CM directly at this point.

Nop... Is by change somme lines of vold.fstab tanks to droidiser with this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1991583
So make a backup of you vold.fstab (system/etc) by renaming vold.fstab.dat and put this one there.

it has got lots of bugs... sometimes it hangs on boot logo.. booting time is very high... cannt change network between 2g and 3g...and everytime system crashes... anyways thanks for your efforts...

there is one more problm.. i was unable to install any version of google play store even tried lucky patcher version as well... and there is sometimes sim card registration fail error or even if der r signals shown but on status bar it appears NO SERVICE...

If upgrade size is small(say 10Mb) then OK ,but if it is full upgrade(say 230Mb) then I am sure it will create problem.

I have tried this tutorial step by step and the installation is successful but the boot hangs @ canvas 4 logo. Do u have any idea what may be the problem. I was porting canvas 4 Stock ROM to Spice.
I also tried porting MIUI ROM. but same problem. Stops @ MIUI logo.

Yeah...I ported the rom from ZTE v970 which has 1Gb rom..it is just in that.actually it has 512 itself.

Yeah...I have been using the rom from about a week and installed many apps but still it has 200+ free memory.You can also use zepplin Supercharger on it for some performance and seeder or pimp my rom for increasing the entropy.
Regarding OTA updates, I still have to look in to that and I'll see what I can do with this weeks update.

Bro is there option to set first sim or both sim to gsm & wcdma? As it was not there in previous miui roms? & till when will u fix wifi prob?

I suppose there is an option for choosing the first sim as gms & wcdma in engineering mode.regarding wifi,I am having that problem with the bugless rom by other developers also..So,I am thinking may be any body could test it for me

2.wifi and BT and GPS toggles not working sometimes had to reboot ..
3.cam professional mode FC
4.opening facebook app hangs phone
5. 3G option missing but works in Engg mode

Hi Srinath,
1 I have changed some files in the new port and hopefully the sdcard one would be fixed I suppose.
2 I have no knowledge of how to fix the toggle issue.They worked fine in the starting some boots and stopped working after wipe cache or fixing permissions after some boots.
3 Cam is working for me in professional mode too.but video is FC.I have jb out of the box.video is not working for me with any rom.So I thought that is a kernel problem
4 I have added tweaks,now their should be some significant improvement in performance.
Anyone test the rom and tell is it working?
is there any update releasing because OTA update link is not working so still i'll get updates on mobile?
and WIFI, Bluetooth and GPS toggle issue is there or not, please confirm.

Hi,
You will get updates on the mobile and the zip downloaded has to be tweaked as stated in post #1 to make it flash.
Regarding the toggles,Every toggle is working flawlessly.
In the initial setup for Wifi, one has to install V6 SuperCharger and do Super Clean from the options in script to make it work.

its android 4.3 with 3.4.5 kernel
i partitioned to 7gb internal which is working, so every other should work as well
have not tried otg but the wifi and wifi tethering are not working
there are 2 buttons even with one sim
xposed module gor greenify and extended power menu wrking, rest i havent checked
havent tried touchwiz
havent had much time to test the dpi effects as well

how did you partition storage? if you meant the 2 call buttons seen in the screenshot in op, i think the left one is for video calling.
if you try gravitybox, please finalise your settings, save the log and post here.
you can get the log here: /storage/sdcard0/Android/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/files/

There is no issue of internal storage.
It will work on ur phone whatever the partition is.
It must be at least 1gb which is by default.
Gravitybox is incompatible as with all samusung/touchwiz roms.
Havent tried changing DPI yet and OTG.

Downloaded it and installed a few hours ago...
6mbps download speed from the google server...thanks for uploading there....
kindly dont get offended by my review as it is my personal opinion and it can only make u better if my observations are right....
The rom...is a hard work which turned out to be very fruitful. Almost a stable rom. Im gonna use it as my everyday OS till theres a better one by avi.
Everything works even the Wifi too as thats the main source of connectivity for me lol.
Things that im facing issues with:
Wifi tethering stays stuck on turning on. Tried thrice.
UI is a little bit laggy which im sure avi can rectify in no time.
The weather wigdet when deleted got my launcher to crash. when tried to get it back to the home screen it plays up.
Theres an option to change the colour of the network icon for each sim however the colours stay white....doesnt bother me.
And finally the bugs mentioned in the OP.
The rom is very nice....just minor bugs which i can live with. I love the interface. Will use it as my everyday rom as it is a lot of hard work put by Avi and i respect that.
Totally satisfied with the efforts and looking forward to more Custom Roms frm Avi and Puduraja.
What would we do without you guys.

- Its the issue with nvram and need tobe done separately for each phone by changing some hex values.

The weather widget itself is a bug
because of it app drawer crashes and launcher too
u can still use it..
I am trying to update it also.
Can u test following things for me please-
USB otg (please use FAT32 formatted usb drive)
just goto setting storage - preferred location of install - internal
now install xposed and gravity box
see if it works (gravity box - center clock and all)
Right now I am working on other roms (MIUI, xperia, Flexi, Stock tweaked, colour OS)
MIUI, xperia finalized and uploading.
SO i have less time to see each rom's issues.
I will surely rectify or try to rectify all the issues u all encounter.
Please keep on giving ur valuable feedback and solution u found so i will add it in OP.
Please also comment on battery life (I feel its very good - better than stock)

Regarding the battery....before goin to sleep last night at 12am the battery said 65% and at 7am it woke me up with a low battery 14% continuous beep lol....
Phone was on standby....no processes running....
Avi please do something abt the Battery.
Will not install gravity box as i was never a fan of gravity box.....always felt it screws ur fone royally.
Usb Otg will be tested today as my otg cables are doing rounds in my locality getting used by friends...

i haven't tried this rom yet; i'm not a fan of most things '[email protected]'. i do like the rosemary font and the dual-sim dialer available for a few phones. but, i'm surprised about the battery drain. hope the dev has the answer.
it's not my experience that gravitybox 'screws ur fone royally'. use gravitybox on 'vanilla or close-to-vanilla AOSP ROMs' and you'll see it 'turns them into feature-packed "non-flashing" custom ROMs'.
cables? you have a few? i'm not surprised. costs less than inr50/piece.

I buy usb otg cables for 15 bucks lol...Manish Market....Mumbai...
I was a fan of gravity box on my Canvas 2...buh it was too much for me to handle hehehe...

sad, really, that not many folks post experience/suggestion/appreciation/advice etc. badly need that for the community to grow.

The air gesture is working only on home screens.
If u move ur hand near front camera and speaker the home screen will scroll to next screen.

Well i've tried to install this Rom, however my phone is always stuck on the samsung logo, i've followed the exact steps as mentioned in the OP but still nothing. I know that thefirst boot always takes more time but i'm sure it don't take 15 minutes.
I'm using an BQ Aquaris 5.7 (xolo Q3000 spanish rebranded, the exact same phone) could that be the problem?
What do you think avi?
EDIT: I've managed to get it booting by wiping dalvik cache after rom install

U can just flash xolo Q3000 sp flashable rom on ur bq and use all roms here without any issue.
Is ur storage and wifi working properly with this rom.
U can take tips from nuno1982moreira as he owns bq.
He flashed xolo rom successfully and enjoying all roms here.:laugh:
Well i postes it way too soon, i've passed the Samsung logo, however it gets stuck again where it says upgrading android apps. It upgrades everything and then it says starting apps and puuf, stuck.. More than 20 minutes..
EDIT: I'm back to KK stock with root done, since I don't have another phone to use while playing with this one xD

Installation Instructions-Warning Before Flashing :
1.IMPORTANT: FLASH AT YOUR OWN RISK. We are not responsible for any bricked phones or damages caused due to the ROM. You lose warranty when you root/flash ROMS on your phone.
2.BATTERY: Keeping at 100% charged is recommended before flashing.
3.BACKUP: Take BACKUP from recovery, useful in case you mess up. Or try Titanium to backup all data and apps.
Flashing Steps-
1.Download ROM and store on Internal or External SD
2.Start TWRP/CWM Recovery Mode. (CWM Recommended)
3.Take full backup in recovery mode.(In case of any problem)
4.Wipe data or factory reset.
5.Wipe cache partition.
6.Wipe Dalvik Cache
7.Format System
8.Install ROM
DON'T FLASH ANY KERNEL.
NOTE-
1.Please read the FAQ first as it might help you.
2.Please don't send PM. Ask queries in the thread only.
3.Please do not send request to add any app / themes.
4.This ROM will be kept as as close to pure MIUI to give a rich experience.
5.Please don't ask for when will you update the ROM. As MIUI updates the ROM on every friday but it's a difficult task for me to provide updates that much frequently.But i assure you the ROM will be updated on a monthly basis.
6.Kindly note that only those features are ported from the latest MIUI ROMS which dont make the ROM unstable as the focus is on making it fit for daily use.

Flash this MOD to enhance the performance of ROM.Make a backup before flashing the Performance MOD
Please do not compare with AOSP ROMS. As it is a really heavy ROM so the ram consumption will obviously be high.
Use a higher class SD-Card to get the games running well.

@fa1zali hats off man, for porting such a beautiful and fast rom. Everything working. All xposed modules working using wsn tools, viper4android working. Miui version showing 4.6.7 Totally a stable rom after using for more than 5 hrs. heavy games like asphalt working without lag in high graphics! Keep the good work going! :good:

1 same problem show by siddk007 error in flash in booting error on status 7 but Rom is installing (flash from philztouch)
2 data connection automatically restart
3 mi market and for download theme wallpaper it open in Chinese language

it is actually 4.7.4 compile directly from miui sources.
I am the the member of MIUI Porting Team.This rom was developed for Micromax A116 but due to requests it is now developed for a117.

1.use only philztouch recovery as it does not causes any issue
2.there are no such type of issues related to mobile data , do one thing disable the data then restart the phone , check apn settings and then re-enable it.....
3.MI Market is app store of MIUI it is not translated to english , but why are you opening mi market when play store is already available use that only. mi market is made for chinese users.
clear data of the themes app it will change the language to english
and bro i may remind you that this rom is developed by chinese developers and the themes are also built by them so if some part of the theme is in chinese and is not translated then we cannot change it

Viper4android not working for me
Great ROM, smooth & beautiful.
Just one problem I faced is Viper4android is not working for me.
Old version didnt installed at all and latest version installed but not working.
Popup appears everytime I launch the Viper to install drivers.
Please help I could have used this ROM as daily use if this problem wouldnt have appeared.
