Just got the unlocked Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 SM-P905 love the layout and features in the original "Samsung Chinese IME" in Qwerty English but as additional input my options are limited to:
Chinese (TW)
Chinese(HK)
Chinese
Korean
Does anyone aware how to add additional language to that list in order to keep layout and main functions?
Would like to work on a project by adding additional languages to that list.
Need some help to get started.

I guess your is the SM-P905 international version, if so you can flash Europe firmware such as UK which has several languages besides English
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/SM-P905/
This is an example of an UK version

You could also get the Google's own pinyin keyboard.

I cannot find any information on localizing Touch Pro to view and input Japanese language, though other models & lower Windows Mobile versions are available.
May be it's because Touch Pro is just still new!
I just bought Atok, Japanese Input System (cost me 5,000 yen), but could not get it to work on my Touch Pro/WM6.1 Pro. (1.90.831.3 WWE)
After checking Atok requirements carefully, it is compatible so far up to WM6.1 classic version. Besides, they must be Japanese version of Windows Mobile.
My experience with Windows system is that you can run softwares for English on Japanese version, but not Japanese softwares on original English version OS.
Does it mean that I have to 1.) give up trying Atok 2.) change my Touch Pro to Japanese Windows version (how can I do that?) or 3.) wait for the release of Touch Pro in Japan next year (japanese version) and ask again the question? Meantime, stick to CE-star, this allows viewing only, not input?
Or is there other way to input Japanese on my spec?
Appreciate comments. J.T.
I'd love to run Japanese Localization on my CDMA Touch Pro as well.
(edit: realized this thread is really old)
Find the relevant information here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=445550
It has been tested and confirmed working on GSM Touch Pro, but should be no different for CDMA devices. You should of course still backup your data just to be safe.
Just for posterity, MS JPIME does work on WM6.1 Pro, and I am personally also using ATOK (Japanese word suggestion), currently with Da_G's WWE rom, so there are no compatability problems.
頑張ってね!
At the present time, if you want Japanese input/localization on the Raphael, then the below method (free) works best IMHO
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=482611&highlight=japanese
I wonder how ATOK compares? If it is WAY better, then somebody please let us know. I could then try to persuade my wife to give me a cool 5000.....
ATOK is just word suggestion, but it's very nice and I'm using it on my Touch Pro. But word suggestion isn't as important on the Touch Pro since you have the full keyboard. I think it's more essential for Diamond users who don't have the keyboard.
If you want to see how ATOK runs, take a look at this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qbo5sKJEA1k
The video is actually TouchKeySIP input panel with Gesture10Key script (for the keyboard), and is running Advanced WNN which is a different Japanese word suggestion software but similar to ATOK. Here's a screenshot of ATOK on my Touch Pro:

Hi all,
I'm thinking about getting a AT&T version of One X for my parents in China, just want to make sure that the AT&T version does have simplified Chinese as display language option? (That is, System dialog and menus are all displayed in Simplified Chinese)
I recently bought a AT&T version of HTC 8X and found out it does not have Simplified Chinese as display language.. bummer
Thanks for your help!

The languages listed varies by ROM. Chinese might not show up on the stock AT&T ROM, and its not clear whether the OP is planning or willing to unlock the bootloader/S-off, and flash a custom ROM.
If OP intends to stay stock, then somebody on the stock ROM may need to chime in whether Simplified Chinese is an menu option. Also, if its not listed as a menu option, it might still be enabled with this:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bruce.setlocale&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5icnVjZS5zZXRsb2NhbGUiXQ..

I'm using AT&T one x, and I'm sure you can change either system language or input method to Chinese simplified or traditional if you are on stock ROMs.
This is kind of leisure review. I don't know how many people will be interested in Chinese input ~
Ok. Why Chinese?
1. I tried to side-load google keyboard, but failed
2. Chinese inputs (also Korean, Japanese etc) are quite different from the transitional English input system though they(we) also use traditional qwerty keyboard for typing.
As a Chinese living aboard, I have to switch between two type of keyboard in my phone which is painful. So far not even one input method satisfied me with both good balanced in 2 languages (phone input).
3. China has been long staying in an non-google environment, therefore their(our) app is specially-deigned for Chinese which you may think is strange or interesting.
Chinese input:
There are varieties of inputs in China (for typing chinese and english). As some of Chinese philosophy, you may find their(our) inputs are integrated with quite a lot of functions (just imagine wehcat vs whatsapp). Some standard features are: cloud dictionary, skin store (can upload/download keyboard skins), changeable keyboard hight, copy/paste/select + arrow functions, night mode (a inbuilt darker skin), voice/handwriting/pinyin/etc, emoij, sound/vibration font&size customization......................also others like floating mode, one-hand mode, swiping..........
I have chosen 3 apps, all latest version: Baidu IME (8.18M), Baidu input (7.26M), Sougou input (19.3M)
Note there is not much difference between IME and input, the 2nd is a branch from 1st one as specifically designed for older people (larger keyboad, easier menu and less wrong typo). Sougou is the currently the one with most population and famous of it's accuracy.
I have slightly change a little setting for watch but most remain default...e.g. there might be a skin with larger board or different key layout...
don't have much time to format my writings, just leave pictures below... and a hurry video.
One more thing, if I was not wrong, the internet connection (online voice, dic download) is not usable.

Not ready to give any comments to the pictures and video, just not too bad if only for typing simple words.
But it will definitely disappoint (Minuum Keyboard?) you a lot if you expect too much... are you happy with that? or if you are waiting for a revolutionary watch keyboard?
Hi I'am Chinese too.And I want to ask that how you can run Baidu IME in your android wear.I use the moto360GN2.I have already installed the apk on my watch. But I can not open it on my watch.Neither can 去勾选and去选择.I am so gtateful if can give me some information about it.Thanks!

yes, but partially. I have writed some text in the java files in italian to test the app on my friend's phone, so those text will be italian. However, i'm planning to extract string resources from the java code to make it fully translated in various languages. For now i'm focusing on user experience and i wish to know if it is working for most phones. For example I've built it for Android 6 as target version but on my sgs2 plus with CM 13 the app crashs at start, so i need to understand why this happens. So i need testers wich run KitKat or Higher. Thank you very much
Thanks but does it support MMS ?
Just install for me too it crash under cm13... So no way to test...
Understood...so there's a problem with Marshmallow. I' trying to figure it out. As far as i tested this version, it works with all versions of Kitkat and Lollipop with almost no apparently problem. To answer your question, no. For now the app supports only Sms as the idea was to make it as lighter as possible. But this is a feature that will be implemented if i make the app stable and working for all with no crashes so don't need to worry about it
Hello ,everyone!

No problem, I am here to help.
For me, ideal english keyboard has numbers above letters for quick access. That's probably all I'm missing in standart Android keyboard.
But if you are thinking in non English world also, there is space for improvement in autocorrect (for example default android keyboard tries to correct every word it doesn't know, which makes autocorrect totaly useless in my language). Also it's really annoying to write special characters (for example á,š,č...), because you have to press letter, wait for a second and than choose from a sub menu. That's actually quite a big delay because you normally have to write many of these characters.
I hope it helps you somehow and sorry for my English.
For me is Accuracy and Predictions.
