[Q] Which should i buy, F350 or D838? - LG G Pro 2

Hello fellas, so as a G2 D802 ex-owner i'm now looking for a lovely G Pro 2 32gb and importing one from Korea is the key, but as i see F350 variant tends to be a little cheaper than D838 at the moment. So as i face no cellular net probs with either F350 or D838 which should i get? The only differences i can see except the LTE frequences is that F350 has more Rom capacity and a 2nd battery included at the pack plus the fantastic exclusive silver color option which D838 doesn't provide. I hope F350's rom still carries a full language pack. Any tip appreciated as i'm looking forward to join you guys.

The f350s has the LTE band 17 for AT&T. The D838 do not.

If you're looking to flash a custom rom then skip the LG G Pro 2 and LG G3 for now.
F350 would be better for AT&T in terms of having the LTE band as mentioned by mike2959.

[Q] Use American Moto G LTE (XT1040) in Europe

Hi guys,
I have been searching for it but I wasn't quite successful. Here my question and the facts:
I bought the XT1040 in Colombia, hoping LTE would work out fine in Europe as well. As I figured out later, the European versione (XT1039) is the only one which would be working on the LTE bands here.
Is there any way to sort of unlock my XT1040 or to make it work with other LTE bands? According to the box it works with bands 4 and 7. I need for cities in Germany band 20. Is there a way to make that happen or should I save money for a new one? Interestingly, HSDPA+ does work.
Thanks in advance!

Moto g lte compatibility

Was looking to buy the moto g 4g lte first gen. Was curious if this particular model can be used on any 3g network including asia and europe since it lists the bands 850/900/1700/1900/2100? Please advise.

Hello, and welcome to XDA!
Could I get a few more details, like exact model number, what country and carrier it is being used for?
Also, any modifications that were done thus far?
If the G2 came directly from your carrier, shouldn't be an issue. By the sounds like it, the phone was bought outright and imported.
Thanks!
LG G2

Hi,
Since you mention the USA, I am assuming that you are using a carrier there.
So the D802 is the European model. EU phones and North American carriers do not mix well (and vice versa). Although you could get 3G on AT&T in theory, since the bands match up. LTE with AT&T doesn't look compatible, and Neither 3G nor LTE look good with T-Mo.
HSDPA 850 / 900 / 1900 / 2100
LTE band 1(2100), 3(1800), 7(2600), 8(900), 20(800)
3G 1700/2100 T-Mobile USA; 3G 850/1900 AT&T
4G LTE T-Mobile USA 700/1700/2100Mhz; 4G LTE AT& T 700/850/1700/1900Mhz

Feel free to ask any questions there as well.
Hope this helps, and good luck!

I would really arppreciate your help..thank you
The H950 will certainly work to some extent in Europe. When the Mrs was over from New York and we went to Valencia, she was getting Data, (at least on 3G.)
Just bear these things in mind when thinking about the H950:-
- The firmware updates are distributed by AT&T and not LG. You need to have an AT&T sim card and be in the USA to get them.
- The phone comes with only 5.0.1 which is awful. You will need the 5.1.1 11z update for reasonable performance. :crying:
- Even though the battery is 3000mah, the battery life is poor, (not a patch on my G2 in the same conditions.)
- If you are in a sunny part of Europe, the OLED screen is poor in sunlight.
- The low light performance of the camera is poor, (not a patch on my G2 in the same conditions.)
If I was you, I'd buy the G4. No issues with updates, 3GB ram, better camera and a screen which is good in sunlight. :highfive:
To update the H950 firmware OTA, you need to use an AT&T SIM and plan. Many people use the GoPhone plan, but that plan works only in the US, or with roaming in Canada and Mexico. You can always update your phone manually.
I agree that the G4 may be a better phone, but at the current price point of the Flex 2 (~$199), there are no comparable devices.
Ok thank you for your help guys...I must add i am phone freak and i had many phones in the past from iphone,lg,samsung,huawei,oneplus..many more and so far updating wasnt my problem...i managed to flash official or custom roms on any of them so i think that i can handle lg g flex 2 too.My main concern was will US version work in EU and can i use 3g and 4g???Cause that phone is hard to find here especially US version...and i like to go for 3gb ram versionAnd agree there that g4 is better option but the price on flex 2 is temptingEvery other meaning will be apreciated...thx
