Try to start your camera when you have lesser than 15% of charge. You'll see the message and camera will be closed. This mod removes this limitation

Other than that i am helpless
My phone heats up More when doing these process :
1) Camera App opened for more than 5 mins..
2) Torch for more than 5 mins..
3) When i go out if GPS is ON and its a sunny day ( then it need water cooling )
CONCLUSION : YES it heats up , and here is my Temperature When the Google claims the temperature here is 27 C ( but its more i have sun directly hitting on me :silly: )

I checked it :highfive: thanks .. i noticed that there is same result on CPU Z and this so no problem .. they all might be using same sensor to find the device temperature :good:
cpu temp. shown in kernel auditor looks more realistic. :/

You should read the battery temp. As the others are thermal sensors which record temperature surrounding the phone.

What you want to do? You will pull out your battery some seconds and the ram will be clean. But if you want to discharge capacitors then you will pull out some minutes. But why are you asking this? Tell us with more details
+ yes, tell us
I think, maximum 10 hours required.

Hey guys,
Am new to the Honor 8, when i bought the device on 17-07-2017, it was running MM but the same day received update to Nougat.
The phone is just awesome in terms of performance and camera, but, yeah, but, the battery. I battery is draining pretty fast overnight even when I have kept the mobile data, WIFI and GPS off.
So if you guys can suggest me some tips to save the drain that would be great.
I also saw a mode under the battery settings which stated as Low resolution power saving, which should reduce the screen resolution to save power.
But I didnt notice any difference visually , also to be sure I checked the resolution using CPU-Z which confirmed that it is 1080 x 1920
Is it a bug? or am I missing something?
Sorry if there is an existing thread for the same.
Try this guide https://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-8/how-to/guide-battery-life-nougat-t3623980
Just be sure you don't use power saving modr, it's totally useless
Always backup and factory reset the device first. That usually fixes most software issues with this device, including battery drain.
As for the screen resolution, the app only reads the native resolution of the screen, not the software based down sampling.
And yes, power saving mode does work, but it does so by turning off auto sync. Not my preference but it does work. If yours isn't working, see my first sentence.

So it is suggested that I backup and factory reset every time I update the device?

Only if any problems arise. If you updated and everything is normal, no need to reset.

From my experience, power saving mode is still quite snappy. The only downside for me is the screen goes off really fast.

I am having some battery drain issue after updating to B340...so will reset today itself, thanks.
Maybe it should solve the power saving mode issue too

Is b340 indian version?
In fact after I received the B340 OTA update, my overnight power drain problem disappeared almost completely, where I used to see a 10/12% drain overnight (between mid-night and 8 AM with phone in airplane mode for that duration) now I see a drain between 1 to 2% only.

Getting Impressive Battery Backup (9hrs 21m SOT) #POCOF1 :good:
How awesome would it be if you could post the screenshots in https://forum.xda-developers.com/poco-f1/review/screen-time-t3832497 instead of creating a thread here.
Mine battery status
It's before and after data
I use it with full Mobile data ON and GPS ON and I got 1d 14hr 10 min.
Where maximum usage from screen and android own.
Hope you all like it to learn things
I will upload again without mobile data ON and GPS ON continuos except when needed.
Agree. The battery backup is stunning on Poco
3 days 10 hours on battery, and 7 hours+ SOT .. Pretty much inline with Redmi Note 5 Pro that I own.

Allow me to give it more meaning!
So. @akashkyh we were wondering... You mentioned "battery backup" but in essence that term means a UPS (uninterruptible power supply). Should we consider it (mainly) Indian slang for SoT?
OP, do you mean battery life?

Uhm I think this is my record. Every day I've got around 11h sot so this battery is very good

In other regions, namely India (?), they seem to refer to battery life as "backup". Initially I assumed this meant an external power bank or external battery mod (ex. Moto Z). Whilst that's not the case, it's not hard to understand with context.
The words for life and backup are totally different in Hindi, so don't know the origin of "battery backup".
which version of software do you use?
