Here is a twrp that was made by captain throwback it works on all HTC m8. I have tested this an everything I use recovery for works flawless. I will update this as he updates Recovery's.

If you want it to show the correct OS you need to edit the text file. VERY SIMPLE with a PC.

In the text file edit the mainver from 2.00.000.0 to 2.21.605.2 as i would for us but then I would have to mirror his download n I don't know if he would like that. Maybe I should ask him.
Or just use option 2 download an extract img proceed as normal.

Hmmm, I keep editing the txt file from 2.00.000.0 to 2.21.605.2, changed the file name and put in the root of ext SD, flashed in hboot. And it keeps reverting back to 2.00.000.0. Any help? Thanks.

If you use windows? I guessing use winrar an open zip make edit hit save an it should ask you do you want to apply changes to archive say yes.

It is a RUU which contains the latest Froyo OTA for the HTC EVO 4G. This allows for devs to unpackage the files within for use in custom ROMS and allows end users to revert their rooted phones to stock if they are returning them to Sprint.
Running this removes root.
You can use it by connecting your phone via USB to the computer and simply running it.

DO NOT FLASH. YOU WILL LOSE ROOT.
Unless you want to re-root your phone then just run the RUU, no need to rename.
And again the username and password is "shipped" without quotes.

Mine just pops up blank....
Don't mean to be rude, but chances are if you don't know what to do with you should not be messing with it. This will remove root if you install, it's helpful if you need to revert to stock to return your phone.

S-OFF is a mandatory requirement here.
Download the PC36IMG.zip. DO NOT EXTRACT IT. Put it on the root of your SDcard and reboot into bootloader (power off, then power on holding volume down). It will look for and eventually find the pc36img and ask you if you want to apply it. Hit volume up for yes. Congratulations, you did it!

First of all thanks to samfirmware. Odin this to get odexed stock EH06 with the purple CWM 3.1.0.1, latest root and su binary and Busybox 1.19.
I forgot to meantion that two apps were removed to make room for busybox. The two apps are Asphalt Demo and Free HD Games Demo. I have attached them to the OP since Zeinzu asked about it.

Thanks for this, because the tar is not zipped there is no self check in place to make sure the file is in tact from the download.
Could you please post an MD5 checksum of the original that you uploaded so we can verify it before we flash?

You only need to odin. There is no flashing. You need to download the tar file from the op and follow these basic instructions for flashing the tar file.
IMPORTANT: Make sure you have installed the proper XP or Win7 drivers before starting. Also, remove the SD card from the phone (this may not be necessary, but having the SD card installed has caused Odin to fail for a number of people, so might as well just do it).
1. Open odin
2. Put your phone in download mode (Shut it off, wait for lights to all go out, then hold 1 on the keyboard while powering up)
3. connect phone (you should see odin put a Com4 or something like that in the first box. The actual number is NOT important what is important is something popped up there when you connected your device, meaning ODIN can see it)
4. The only box that should be checked is Auto Reboot.
5. You do not need to choose a pit file.
6. In the PDA Section choose the tar file. (Should be the sph-d700-****-8Gb-REL.tar)
7. Hit start. It will do its thing.
8. If it fails than try a new cable.
9. If the phone hangs for any reason take the battery and sdcard out and let it sit for an hour. Put it back together and try again.
Is there a way to create an ODIN file for our personalized system? Like a Nandroid backup except Odinable.

because the system dump from JellyBean happened on Day 1 of I/O...Before you try and correct somone, or 'ask a loaded question' do your homework. Cool to see that were able to boot into JB with an ICS kernel. I will try making a source build off of the JB-DEV branch later today after this EXTREMELY long sync finishes,,

2. i have flashed a new rom with wipe 1 hour ago.
SO you don't need to delete your apps or waste your time.

Has anyone successfully flashed the new Cyanogenmod Update on the GS5 from Virgin Mobile? I have been unable to get it to work. The updater script wont let me flash, and even when I delete the first section, the installation is still aborted. Any suggestions?

The zip you sent has another folder called Rom in the root I'll fix it and send it back to you, next time when you make the zip don't zip the folder, zip the system, meta whatever, and data inside of the folder, zip all of those.

I had the same thing, (YOU SHOULD TRY PAC ROM IN THE ORIGINAL DEVELOPMENT PAGE, MORE FEATURES cx) mess around with the settings, try flashing a modem, take your sim card out and back in, airplane mode and back, odin flash, dunno what else.
Is there a way to just flash cm11? Thats about the extent of my knowledge

what recovery did you use? I flashed using modified TWRP and data and mms work fine..
Does anybody else have "pay with my Verizon wireless account" as a payment option on play store?? I'm on sprint. It shouldn't say that. It doesn't work but it annoys me being there
