Yes, I only use custom ROM's. Right now I'm using MIUI, the battery on MIUI is good but on PRism and Ozcan it's phenomenal!
I've attached some screenshots of my battery usage. MIUI I can go 18-24hrs before needing to charge. On Prism and Ozcan it's not uncommon for me to go well over a day

Great. ..but I am not on custom rom...on official Kitkat

Maybe it's time to try a custom ROM bud

Warrantee depends on your country from what I gather. Here in South Africa the Samsung centre just looks to see if you have Official in your status page. So before I sent my phone in I just made a TWRP backup. Flashed a stock ROM via Odin and sent it in.
My phone has been in twice, once for new mainboard and once for a new screen. All done under warrantee with Knox tripped too.
If you are running the latest kitkat NH4 stock ROM you should be getting very good battery usage.

From my testing I have found the CM11 based ROM's are the ones with battery issues and call quality issues.
All the TW based ROM's like Prism and Uncharted have no such issues.
Ozcan's ROM has some issues but those more the fault of the S5 ported apps than anything else. I think he has managed to iron out almost all the issues, he has even given us a working Ultra Power Saving mode ported from the S5.
Try them out and see if they work for you. I would start with Uncharted as it's lightly debloated so you will feel at home coming from stock TW.

All the 4.4.4 ROM's are based on CM11 and as I stated are not perfect and have issues like poor battery life, call quality, bluetooth and OTG etc etc. I wouldn't recommend any as you yourself said you been staying away from custom ROM's because of the many problems.
There are many good TW 4.4.2 ROM's available here]/URL]
I would suggest try your hand at Uncharted or Arrow or Omega as these are close to stock ROM's.
I can't tell you which is best that is something you need to find out for yourself, so try them all and see

for everyone's device battery is acting differently in every rom
it is also depends from your personal usage and what settings you are going to apply(cpu/gpu overclock, undervoltage etc)

Looks good. So the ROM can withstand a whole day without need of charging which is perfect for me
I just flashed again ViperS 3.1.2. Till now, best ROM ever. Still waiting for a CM or PA with better RAM management and slower battery drain.
.....
CM10.2 with PMEM is really smooth
AOSP will never be as battery efficient as sense roms purely because it doesn't have the closed source drivers from HTC. And the biggest battery drainer on our phone is the brightness.

Hello everyone,
To really see and really test the battery, I think we already looking beyond the week of use. Then ONLY CALIBRATION for a ROM, it is not at all necessary to do this several times if you are on a ROM that has already been calibrated.
In most cases the original kernel is chosen for its stability. It may be that there have bugs, but we'll see later. The Vipers (I would say) despite its high frequency min and max processor settings , I think it is really stable. My battery took almost 24 hours to Max, I use my HTC original battery. So when I see people say that such and such a ROM down the battery, its normal.
This is not directly after installing that u check the efficiency of the battery.
C u Later!!!

All credits to this rom's creator(s) and original sources. Non-kexec roms need you to be on ICS kernel to work, so JB leak rom users beware!
This rom doesn't have the 1% battery hack, but it's really not hard to work with.

I keep switching ROM. I am in love with this ROM, it is fast, smooth, and filled with enough features to get me by. Only problems that I am having is that there is no 1% battery mod, which isn't the end of the world. Also i was wondering how do I get the minimal amount of UI tearing?

Yeah, the lack of 1% battery is annoying because there are several of my ports that have it and it's hard to add without breaking something. -_-
As for minimal ui tear, if you haven't already done this for any rom you can go to Developer Options, scroll down to where you see Transition and Window scale. Set those two to .5 then lastly, you tick the 'Force 4x MSAA' option and that should do it. Good luck and enjoy all the new ports!:good:

Boot looping
First of all, Thanks for this wonderful rom :good: :victory:
Smooth and battery saver
Now some issues I faced (Installed on system 4)
1. No Battery 1% mod, but thats not a big problem, you can install battery widget by Pedro Maicas from play store for correct battery status.
2. Wifi tether has some issue, its not turning on. So I installed wifi fix and it boot loops. I guess that fix was for CM 11 only.
thats all for now. I'll let you know more once I reinstall it tomorrow

Whoa, I thought that would only work with kexec only roms, thanks a ton for letting me and everyone know it does!
You'll have to stick with that app as in-call volume adjustment is a problem in most of our roms, hence that's why that app was made.
FYI, I have NO idea how it works as I'm not a developer and only work with already-built roms.

So, how do You guys like it? Next Version will include less bloatware, and some other apps like xposed etc. Also I will try to modify the kernel. To achieve even better battery life plus some performance .
Where is the link for rom;

I haven't really modified the kernel yet. Because I'm on vacation. And it takes 8 hours to compile. But in 2 days I will be back home. So I will do much more . Graphics in games are working pretty good. Even on "extreme battery saving mode". So if You want to have great battery life just follow instructions in q/a.
And I don't really know if it contains codecs. It's pure cm 11 kernel.
Just wonder what features u had add in?

@ProtoDeVNan0,
I noticed that there is an HTC Weather under Accounts in Settings? I'd there a widget we could use with that? If so...I can't seen to find it.
BTW, Excellent ROM... fast and very light.
Thx in Advanced!
Hi can i use this rom on n900t?

Thanks! . Yes There is actually HTC launcher. But I will have to fix it. Because doesn't seem to work properly. Also my flight got delayed. So I will have to build next version on my laptop. (It takes 8 hours). And now I will look what Can I do with the kernel etc.

Cyanogenmod is now a general os. For all hlte versions. And It seems like it does support N900T version.(When You check updater script.)
Edit:I have checked that model online. And it has 800 CPU. So it should be supported pretty much.

For now Only couple of apps. To make it look like L version etc. I could really do much more if it wouldn't take 8 hours to compile . But I have couple of cool ideas what could I add in the next version Also I'm sorry But I can't really make my rom on the first build to look like SlimRom or CRom. Guys making such advanced roms are incredibly smart and have a lot of time. Good workstation. And some of them doesn't work alone. Like me. But I can promise to make my rom as good as I can.

Please can you confirm if in videcamera menu the option live effects is missed ? the camera quality is ok ?? I had problems when I updated in Taiwan rom , live effects in video recording missed and the quality of the camera was much worst than with kit kat this is because I came back to kit kat, at present I have SEA (Singapore) rom and I would like to update but I have panic because I worry that the same problems remains.

Ok. Thanks, would be appreciated if tomorrow or so you can confirm battery drains or not, also I remember when I updated that the charging time was 1 hour more than the usual 90 min and the bright in automatic was changing without a reason it was with the Taiwan TWN rom maybe as Singapore has been out 3 months later this updae better, I hope so. anyway it would be very goog if after a few days you can post here any improvementes you can see in the phone, thanks again for your help.
Yesterday I have updated my LG G Pro 2 D838 (SEA - Singapore) to Lollipop v5.0.1 V20A firmware. I have tried then to root this firmware using DP Tools but had no luck. My phone goes properly into Download mode but it's always stuck at 0%. I had to remove battery to boot my phone and it's not rooted. I have tried this several times but always get this message:
Any clue to resolve this problem? Thanks!
Night mode also missed in front photo camera menu with lollipop ?
Would you be able to provide aome sort of zipof the whole rom i die die need this rom my network has problems with the custom rom im on and i dont have any trace of my previous stock rom.
OK.
Confirmed that few camera and video modes have been taken out from official lollipop.
Battery drains about 10% faster than KitKat.
Battery charging is about 10% slower too.
However, I can live with those shortcomings. Not an issue for me.

U might want to unroot and or remove custom recovery.
My phone kept booting into custom recovery and could not get pass custom recovery.
I had to use adb to push a custom rom into my phone internal storage and flash the rom before I could restore it to original firmware using KDZ.
After restoring then download the update pack and run it again then no issue.
Good luck

I just bought a T-mobile Note 5 so i would LOVE to get rid of all the bloatware they include, besides i kind of hate having boot up logos in my phone, i have used Canadian FW in my S4 so i guess this should just as good, im still downloading the file, would you please let me know how to flash this one? the usual Odin would work just fine? Thanks in advance.

Flash in twrp as per usual assuming you're rooted and what not. Also I'm on T-mobile so I flashed SkyHigh's kernel right after the rom then booted up - just to be doubly sure.

I'm not a big fan of tweaked kernels unless they are packaged with the rom but so question,
Do I have to install skyhigh with this rom or can i run it flat out of the box and be fine? I'm also running TmoUS variant

Yes its fine if you dont install it will keep the kernel you had before insalling rom but if yes you should install it again reason is for example for arter kernel it disables knox completely like knox libs and stuff which i cannot delete in rom zip coz i think something is depending on these libs because i got bootloop when i deleted these so
i hope it will make sense
Cheers

Im having some extrange situation with my phone, whenever i make or receive a call it moves from LTE to H+ network, and every time its like people have a hard time listening me for a few seconds, probably due to the network switching, is this normal? Can i force/enable to use LTE network for voice as well? Thanks in advance.

Im assuming, since it's a Canadian base, like WiFi calling, there probably isn't VoLTE either. But just my guess.
Thanks for the reply, that might be the issue with the Note 5 running Canadian FW, but i hope there might be a workaround this.
Not the same device, but i was running official 5.0.1 canadian base on my S4 and didnt had the same behavior switching networks.
