Dear all,
some pages, e.g. Flickr, have hotkeys available, to make the navigation faster.
But,
there is a problem, when I want to use these on our beloved Sensation, due to no possibility to open the keyboard, without having a textfield selected on the screen.
Hopefully, I am wrong.
So please,
If you have an idea, how to open the keyboard when ever I want - please, let me know.
Many thanks in advance for your response.
All the best,
Mario
Try holding down the menu key, that used to work on my Nexus One. Doesn't on CM9, but might on others.

You often have to to to Settings->Language & Keyboards and activate the new keyboard first too. It used to be you could long-press on a text field to change the input method but that doesn't seem to work now. Maybe its an ICS change, or something related to Sense? Not sure.
By the way, have you already paid for Slide-It? If you're just using the trial, you might want to try the Swype Beta as well, as I find it works pretty well, and is free.

Hi,
My HTC HD2 Hardkeys have a little problem. exactly CALL key button. when you press it, it doesn't pushed in and you should press harder to work it.
At the latest months the HOME button has the same problem, but it repaired autoself! in the other word it go backed in its place! FINE!
I want to open my phone and repaire it myself. but need a video for (dis)assemblying it...
There is many videos about how (dis)assemblying completly, but i want one specialized for Hardkeys, not more! for example in a video the phone (dis)assembled in too parts, and the Hardkey was the latest parts!
can anyone help me put
Thanks
I assume its a button flex issue.
If you need parts, PM me

I bought my Touchscreen from Sintech. The Sintech Touchscreens are very good.

First of all I'd like to know if the only solution to touchscreen problem is screen change...
In this case I'll try to change it alone, I saw some youtube video and It seems to be easy....
ach sintech touchscreen .... 70 euro....:silly::silly:

Change touchscreen and screen both. You can destroy the display very easy. So the 70€ are a good price for good quality.

Guys... I believe I found a little piece of software (on another forums) that might make all of our troubles go away
This is from Lignja (earlier comment):
if you have touchscrean and swipe problems on your sensation, download SGS touchscreen booster from market, install it, press on super optimized, and pull first 3 collums on end left, and 2 last on end right, then press apply... your sensation will worke like a charm, you wont have any swipe problems or locking ring... then you can test it and turn back ond defult or uninstal that application and it will still work... hope it helps you like it helped to me... soz for bad english..
I'm testing it now... so far it's working... fingers crossed

It could be a digitizer problem as it is unlikely that you are running a custom rom. Try factory resetting the phone if this doesn't fix the problem you might need a replacement digitizer.
