Hi,
My HTC HD2 Hardkeys have a little problem. exactly CALL key button. when you press it, it doesn't pushed in and you should press harder to work it.
At the latest months the HOME button has the same problem, but it repaired autoself! in the other word it go backed in its place! FINE!
I want to open my phone and repaire it myself. but need a video for (dis)assemblying it...
There is many videos about how (dis)assemblying completly, but i want one specialized for Hardkeys, not more! for example in a video the phone (dis)assembled in too parts, and the Hardkey was the latest parts!
can anyone help me put
Thanks
I assume its a button flex issue.
If you need parts, PM me

Dear all,
some pages, e.g. Flickr, have hotkeys available, to make the navigation faster.
But,
there is a problem, when I want to use these on our beloved Sensation, due to no possibility to open the keyboard, without having a textfield selected on the screen.
Hopefully, I am wrong.
So please,
If you have an idea, how to open the keyboard when ever I want - please, let me know.
Many thanks in advance for your response.
All the best,
Mario
Try holding down the menu key, that used to work on my Nexus One. Doesn't on CM9, but might on others.

Many thanks dudes.
But...
;/
After Flashing CoinDroid 5.0.2 I noticed that my capacitive buttons no longer activate when I directly press them. The triggers for each button seem as though they are between the screen and the correct location of the buttons. I have tried reflashing the latest firmware, superwipe (the zip file and from 4ext), and other roms. I have run out of ideas. I have attached a picture showing where the buttons "appear" to be. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Is your screen broken there at the bottom? Could be that...

Oh... Strange... Sorry I have no clue in that case...

[Solved] Warranty Covered this Issue
I sent the phone back to HTC. They will cover this under warranty. Make sure to flash the stock RUU that came with your phone if you are going to send it back.

That feature is provided by Bricked Kernel, which is available for HTC Sensation( i know because i had HTC sensation before and already tried it. However, i don't know if it available for others devices or not.) It is really cool and convenient for big phones like 1S, sensaton cause it is hard to reach the power button, which is located at the top of device. "Bricked" just a name, i believe.
My brother has the HTC sensation and 1s and sensation both 4.3 inch but The one s width is a lot more than the sensation so in fact harder to get to the power button one s long and thin sensation small and fat don't take it the wrong way lol if any1 got anything similar to swrep2wake pls upate me on here thnx

I had to replace lcd screen on my desire s cuz there was some large black thing, so i've left it in local phone service and they replaced my lcd but my touchscreen didn't work at all after they put it back in phone, so they gave me new touchscreen for free. Now everything is working fine except the area near notification bar it just wont respond on tap. It is really annoying sometimes cuz in sense 3.X i can't tap widget in personalise option (shortcut and app works fine) so once removed widget can't be selected again and i can't add a new widgets, when i am searching something in youtube or play store or browser i must write full line cuz i can't click on a prediction the app shows me (eg. when i type angry in play store it shows me angry birds but i cant tap it, instead i have to write full name and press enter).
So do i have to get a new touchscreen or this one isn't puted right in place?
Please respond
Exactly same as mine. Basically they damaged the digitizer. On ur digitizer (looking at screen) the black frame around the edge theres tiny little wires behind it and they must of damged a wire at the top. I had exact same problem and replaced the digitizer mysrlf and now all is fine.

Just buy the digitizer. I got mine off ebay for £10 and works perfect. Easy to change urself, just make sure u get the 3M double sided tape with it so u can stick it on to the LCD screen.

I went to the service and told them what happened. They ordered new touchscreen and today they replaced it with a new one, so I've got another touchscreen for free, and everything works perfect.
