I have a verizon xv6700 and I noticed that it has a compartment to add a sim card but is covered in plastic....Is this permanent or can I brake it to have access to it?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=300
this is the forum for that phone
i suspect if you break it you break it
but think you can remove the sim if thats what you want i'm sure
they are wizer in the forum for the device
It's a CDMA device and thus does not have a SIM card in it.
this phone is working without any problems and with every sim cards but yesterday phone shut down and now when i start the phone in display show sim failure only emergency calls but sim is inside and when i remove sim phone not start how can i solve this problem????
Hi there.... There are 2 possibilites here... The first is that your sim "went"... This is the least likely of the features, but it can happen (happened to me).. The more likely senerio is that your sim is just loose underneath. I used to have (Actually I still have it) a mpx200 as well.. It was a GREAT phone, except the sim housign was poorly designed and the sim cards dont; always hold a good contact. I suggest that you take out the sim card and reinster it.. The also fol a small piace of peper in 1/2 and place it over the sim card under the battery... that seemed to help a lot with my phone... Sometimes my card would do that in the middle of a call.. very irritating. Let me know if this helps!
I have a Blu Life Play. This is a dual sim phone but my carrier apparently sealed up the the secondary sim slot with a "warranty void if removed" tag and modified the software removing all dual sim related options. I was wondering if there were some way to bypass those features.
A ROM maybe?
Can anyone explain to me why my cell phones only detect and show that a sim is inserted for certain sim cards? For example, my S3 is able to detect a Koodo micro sim, but when I put in a Fido micro sim, it will not detect it and say no sim card inserted. Same goes for my spare dual sim phone. Any reasons why?

This could happen because your phone might be locked to a particular carrier. Search your device forum for help on unlocking.
Have a note 20 ultra 5g that keeps telling me no sim card, no cellular network available. Have replaced sim card readers 2x in both motherboards, still the same. Have also tried another motherboard known good and get the same thing. But whats weird is on the motherboard that was Verizon unlocked it will tell me the phone number on the sim card. The known good motherboard that is unlocked factory. It will say the same thing. The verizon one will say sim card provider changed restart to new carrier and will reboot to T-mobile. I have replaced almost everything on the middle case as in connectors and such. Both motherboards will tell me phone number on sim card and have also tried a few different sim cards. All the same problem. Someone told me that the middle frame is the problem, but I don't believe that. Have also the verizon motherboard installed and sent this phone to Samsung and all they said was new motherboard needed, At a cost of almost $700.00. Still sim card problem and I have run out of ideas.
