Xperia flash mode issue - Sony Xperia L

Hello,
By flashing thunderzap kernal(Stable version) on my Xperia L, I installed the latest version of Cyanogemode 11(toashan) and there by the firmware was running butter smooth without any problem, now I tried to revert the firmware with stock Rom and I understood that the best way to install stock rom is to flash it via flashtool. The problem what I am facing is after entering in flash mode, the flashtool widget gets stuck at "flashing loader".the percent is stuck at 0%.The confusion comes into play as the phone never shows signs that it is in flash mode.i tried flashing another kernal still the same old problem.
Thanks
Hazil

Flashing a custom kernel has nothing to do with a stock ftf.
Can you tell the steps that you're following to flash stock?

1. Turn off the phone and let it rest for 30 sec and did the below tasks.
2.Copied the stock ftf, C2104_15.3.A.1.17_Generic into the firmware folder of flashtool, clicked the flash mode button in flashtool and waited for the prompt to plug in my phone holding the back button connecting the usb cable.
3.Now i saw a pop up in my pc(windows 7) saying that the device is connected in flash mode.
4.Now the flashtool prompt goes when i connected the device, and it gets stuck at the notification saying "flashing loader" and its at 0%.
This the issue which i am facing right now. I cant flash stock rom and get back to 4.2 :'(

How could you hold the 'back' button???
there's no such button as far as I know.
Anyways since you're able to connect in flashmode I assume that you're talking about the volume down button. Try changing the firmware(ftf). Instead of generic, try any other version. And run flashtool as administrator.
Best of luck
Hit thanks if it helped

CM10 via Flashtool???
as far as i know to install CM10 :
1. flash boot.img ( taken from CM10 zip file )
2. enter CWM on the device
3. clear cache,dalvik
4. install CM10 zip file
5. fix permissions
6. reboot device
like nughroz said, you cannot use flashtool to install CM10. Use his steps if you need CM10 anyways, else if you want to revert back to Xperia stock, then
1. Download the latest Miro firmware
2. shutdown mobile, disconnect from PC.
3. hold Vol- button and reconnect to PC, geen LED should be lit
4. flash the new Miro firmware through flashtool
Yes, before using CM10, you should flash img.boot file that available in the CM10 packages. Extract it, flash img.boot, then flash the rom. If you wanna back to ICS, then flash the stock firmware. And the most important thing before installing CM10, you SHOULD unlock your bootloader. Correct me if i wrong :highfive:

[Q] Sony XPERIA Tipo bootloop cannot enable USB debugging

I have a Sony XPERIA Tipo and I have recently installed the correct CyanogenMod but I installed it wrong as I didn't first use the boot image. I have tried Sony PC Companion but it cannot find the correct firmware for my device, I have also tried other ways but they require using USB debugging which unfortunately I cannot enable using my phone. Does anyone know a way I can turn it on with my PC?

I have also tried this and it did not work
It would work with Sony Emma Flash Tool but it doesn't currently support my phone, thanks you those of you who tried to help me. If anyone has any other ideas then feel free to reply as it might be a while before Emma becomes V1 instead of Beta.
Use Flashtools but in this time try the next
pull the battery , connect (when the program ask) and hold the volume key till the program starts to flash
Sorry for my bad english

Unbrick Tipo
I ran into this problem at night, and I tried out a LOT of suggestion, but nothing had work. So, I figured it myself...
History: updated JBMP ROM, and it's got bootloop, w/o CWM, or any recovery... Bootloader open. Flashtool sad: Error in processHeader : 22 : Device could not recognize command or Read error :31 : Attached device not working
1a: download Flashtool, install it
1b: find and download a Stock ftf, copy/move to Flashtool/Firmwares
2: Start Flashtool
3: click "Flash" symbol, choose Flashmode
4: select Stock ftf
5: make sure to CHECK under misc: "no final verification" AND "reset customization"
6: hit Flash button, and wait to prompted to connect phone
7: press and hold Vol- while connect phone to PC
Then the flash process should be starting, and finishing fine. This steps restored my bricked Tipo back to life. Just in case, re-root, and install CWM.
Warning: first boot take some times, be patient! Make sure to do another reboot after first boot up.
Hope it's help.

Try another USB cable/port. Sometimes this can cause problems, like Yours... If not use, try another PC. And if possible, use Windows 7.

Flash any kernel any see if the problem still persists. Since you are able to connect in fastboot mode, download any other kernel (preferably phantom v7 if you're on jb or any higher version if on kitkat) and flash it using fastboot.
If your device starts working again then problem was in the kernel.
If you still face the problem look for the charger file, make sure it's there.
Best of luck
Hit thanks if it helped.

The recovery you're booting to is not a custom recovery ,anyway I'll giude to installing I'll give some useful links.
First if all you need to unlock your bootloader go here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-l/general/xperia-l-how-to-flash-tool-unlocking-t2337955
You may run in a bootloop (the phone stuck at bootanimation)
Just flash the stock ftf via flashtool .
Now go here and take the first method , it will guide how to install CM12
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=63769485&postcount=2
Remember that the first may take sometime so don't pullout the batterybattery.
Good luck:highfive:
