Hello all, I'm the developer of Game Controller 2 Touch , and currently I'm coding another project which is similar to Game Controller 2 Touch in terms that this app too will allow you to play Android games with pure gaming experience.
As the name suggests, Mouse/Keyboard 2 Touch (name still not official) in one of those unique apps which will emulate touch screen actions like Tap , Swipe, taking input from any regular USB/Bluetooth Mouse and/or Keyboard. This app will allow you play Hardcore Android First Person Shooters ,Sports games like Fifa 2014 to Casual Games like Subway Surfer with a Keyboard and/or Mouse. The app will feature a full fledged Touch Profile Editor just like Game Controller 2 Touch and will be even easier to Setup.
I'll be posting betas of the app occasionally in over here. I'd like to get feedback from the forums.
If you are interested in the project please comment with any feature you'd like to be included in the app.

many of our HTC devices have a keyboard.. I'm wondering which games allow use of the keyboard at all (even if its just using arrows vs D-pad), and/or if any games truly take advantage of having a keyboard (ie. can you remap keys in mega-MAME the way you can in desktop versions?)
Edit: presumably this means running in landscape mode (at least for most devices with full kbds)
Thanks,
Mike
recall some fps games maybe it was doom or doom2 which had an onboard keyboard under the fps window
at least some of the emulators too
c64 i recall
I think all games that let you config the keys used to play. Like i use call of duty on my wizard and it works great but i would recommend that you open the keyboard first and then start the game because some games have problems when you open it during play.
The Xoom will be my first android device picking one up this week. My only other tablet/mobile experiences were on an iPodTouch4G. As a C++ / Java dev, I've skimmed some of the Android App Dev books (though those were written for 2x about a year ago, not 3x/HoneyComb); though, I couldn't quite see anything in the syntax that would suggest preventative measures to stop people from doing this.
I'm assuming that any particular game from the android marketplace that enables multiplayer pools users from all android devices, tablets, phones, etc. With that said, I'm sure there's a few devices that can utilize either a Bluetooth or USB keyboard/mouse combo to play in these games.
I'm assuming I just didn't see the code though, and I am curious as to if devs are taking preventative measures for this in their app code to make sure people are all using the device (let us face it, it's easier to play an FPS with a mouse/keyboard, by a mile).
I ask this question partially as a curious developer, but also as a player of these games who enjoys them, and could foresee moments playing some shooter on my xoom swiping my fingers across the screen wondering if that guy owning me is using something a bit more accurate than finger swiping.
I don't play these games so I hesitated to respond...waiting to see if anyone else would. Do you have the Xoom yet? I can say that I have and use the Moto bt keyboard a MS bt mouse. They work perfectly for the usual business applications and I have used the mouse anywhere I wanted more precision of selection. I guess it may come down to whether the gaming app supports the keyboard and mouse inputs from the Xoom.
Just now searching for app to make possible android gaming with mouse + keyboard...
Just now searching for app to make possible android gaming with mouse + keyboard... no results... i have usb wireles keyboard and mouse logitech a320 - all works nice. but in games - just one touch from mouse - keyboard buttons not works at all. rummor say that full support of mouse is in android 3.0... Now will wait for custom rom with 3.0 to my haipad m7
I have just ported my game to Android and I have troubles to make the controls feel good...
Does somebody know any good 3D Skating Games on Android? Free games would be sick!
I have tried it with a game pad, which you can touch like the arrow keys on PC. Also I tried it with tilting the mobile, bouth feels unsatisfying, how would you do it?
If you want to check up my game search Freebord The Game on Google Play, any feedback or suggestions on how I can improve my controls would be great!
I just bought Nyko's Gamepad Pro joystick for android and wanted to share
games that work natively with it (without the Crappy Nyko Underground App)
First here is the Color chart I will use:
OK Mean that everything work well
Fine Mean it is not so intuitive but can still play it without any problems
Bad Mean some buttons are working but you can't play because major buttons are missing
Nope Mean there is absolutely no buttons working with that game
***If you see MM it Mean Mouse Mode (there is a button for that behing the controller)***
***If you see HID/Gamepad it mean you have to place the button to that mode behing the controller***
***If you see THD in the game title it stand for "Tegra High Definition". That mean if you have a Tegra 3+ Processor you'll have better optimisations***

controller app will be updated soon. I'll share with you ma last conversation with Nyko's rep (I've contacted them for a review on the playpad pro)èè
Thank you for contacting us. The most recent version, 4.2, has caused some issues with blue tooth and affects quite a few blue tooth devices, not just the Playpad. If you are running this version, please note that it is a problem on Android's end.
There are two ways of syncing the PlayPad Pro. For it to work with any Tegra game, you must sync the PlayPad directly to the device without using the Playground app. To sync the PlayPad Pro directly to the device without using the app, follow the steps below:
1. Make sure blue tooth is powered on so you can sync the Playpad directly to the tablet without using the app.
2. On the back of the Playpad, move the switch to HID mode (gamepad icon).
3. Hit the ‘home’ button in the middle of the controller once until the light on the top start blinking slowly. Hit it once more, and it should blink rapidly.
4. Pair it in the Bluetooth settings. The device should say “Playpad Pro.”
To configure the controls, simply go to the game menu and select controller settings and change them through there.
To sync the PlayPad Pro with the Nyko Playground app, follow the steps below:
1. Make sure Bluetooth is powered on.
2. Open up the Playground app.
3. Hit the ‘home’ button in the middle of the controller once until the light on the top start blinking slowly. Hit it once more, and it should blink rapidly.
4. Select 'sync' within the app.
Unfortunately, touch mapping is not yet available on the Beta version of the app. We are aware of the various complaints concerning the Playground app and the demand for Touch Mapping Support. We are working tirelessly to resolve these issues in a timely manner, and look to bring the Playground app out of beta with a new release in Q1 2013. We will soon release a firm date when consumers can expect the completed app.
This updated version of the Playground app will address various bugs and usability issues as well as adding Simple Touch Support. Simple Touch Support will allow users to execute point, click and drag controls with ease on the PlayPad or PlayPad Pro controller.
Due to changes in Android 4.1, we cannot provide Full Touch Mapping support at this time. We are currently investigating several options to bring Full Touch Mapping support to the Playground/PlayPad system, and will provide updates regarding the progress of Full Touch Mapping as we can. In addition, Nyko is approaching developers of the top Android titles to code support for the HID protocol of the PlayPad and PlayPad Pro to maximize the number of titles that inherently support the PlayPad line. It was, and still is our goal, to ensure maximum compatibility of games with the PlayPad line, and we will continue to work towards this end.
Best,
Trudy Panalal

An alternative to MOGA Universal.
Instead of handling everything Bluetooth related like MOGA Universal, MOGA VK uses MOGA Pivot to handle the controller connections. This change yields some benefits and some losses. Take your pick of app for what you need.
The star feature of the app is the automatic profiles based on foreground app.
Usage is as simplistic as possible. Add profiles, add apps to profiles, customize button mappings, play!
Feedback appreciated.

- Crash on Android 2.3 or less due to the LatinIME included in the app.
I have the MogaVK app installed on a Nexus 7 2013. It works flawless. Just curious, I havent found a solution for this as of yet but, does this support controlling the Android UI?
It seems MogaVK seems to only recognize user apps. I've tried to reinstall Android UI as a user app (which fails miserably). Any suggestion or works for a rooted version that can handle complete screen control?
My reasons are simply because I have a slight crack in the wrong place which has caused me to lose total touch control capabilities. So, I use Mobizen for setup and Dragon to open apps. My Nexus is pretty much just a monitor for playing retro games. But, I'm sure many people would find this useful.
Anyway, your app is great. Much better than the Universal Driver (in my opinion), which didnt even recognize my controller at all. Great work.
I want to play modern combat 5 using moga pocket. Will it work?
