This guide is ''noob'' friendly
How to restore the warranty:

2. Download the Odin ( Here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BwWGbBx-jMwvcF9rQkVWdzMzWnM/edit?usp=sharing )
3. Un-zip the firmware
4. Open the odin
5. Select PDA
6. Then find the firmware
7. Turn off your T311
8. Press Volume down+Power button
9. Press the volume up to continue
10. Connect the t311 with the PC
11. Press Start on the Odin ( Make sure that Re-partition, Flash Lock, Led Control, Nand Erase all and T flash ARE UNCHECKED)
12. Wait 2-4 mins to boot
VOILA. You have a fresh new tab
If you're facing bootloop issues, please follow this
1. Press the volume up + Power button, until the tab 3 logo appears
2. With volume down, go to the wipe data
3. Press the Home button
4. Select the Yes with the home button (or the power button. It is the same)
5. Reboot the tab

Nice post, Thank's, :good::good::good::good::good:

This thread has left me baffled, please clarify
Could you please explain and prove how flashing the bare firmware reset your custom binary bit / Flash counter ?
how can this reset the flash counter / customer binary bit ?
Flash counter is usually located in boot-loader right ?

@t-shock,
Thanks for your most valuable guide.
I`ve restored My device (T311) . Now I`m using 4.4.2 stock.
Is there any way to downgrade form 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 ?
Sorry for noob question.

How to fix (Null, Invalid, Fake) IMEI & get Official status & OTA updats - GT-I9500
Hello guys
This thread will show you how to fix your IMEI problems and get official status on your Galaxy S4 (GT-I9500)
Its working 100%
First root your device with CF-Auto-Root-ja3g-ja3gxx-gti9500
Reboot in DOWNLOAD MODE ( Volume Down + Home + Power )
Connect your phone to PC via USP cable
Run Odin3 > click PDA or AP > Choose this file (CF-Auto-Root-ja3g-ja3gxx-gti9500.tar.md5)
now click Start
Phone will reboot then its rooted
Second install TWRP Recovery
Reboot in DOWNLOAD MODE ( Volume Down + Home + Power )
Connect your phone to PC via USP cable
Run Odin3 > click PDA or AP > Choose this file (openrecovery-twrp-2.7.0.0-i9500.tar)
now click Start

Tap Wipe > Format Data
Tap Wipe > Advance Wipe and select all EXCEPT External SD and USB Storage

If you don't know how to flash Stock Firmware this is how
Reboot in DOWNLOAD MODE ( Volume Down + Home + Power )

[Q] GT-i9105p bricked - Help wanted

My son's GT-i1905p is stuck on the Samsung logo.
With the 3 button combination i can go to the Android System Recovery (volume up) and to the screen that says in green and white: "Warning!! A custom OS can cause ...etc. " (volume down).
Can someone please give me directions on how to solve this problem.?
If i need to flash a custom ROM it has to be a Rom with Dutch language supported because my son doesn't understand Englisch.
Please step by step directions?
Make sure you're on 4.2 bootloader stock. If don't goto sammobile to download based on your region, flash that with odin goto download mode(power+home+vol-)..
If you're already on 4.2 bootloader, continue to flash TWRP by LuK1337, or ported philtouch by haky.. Go download CM latest http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2800254 . put it on sdcard than flash it via custom recovery(power+home+vol-up).
OrdinaryNoob
If you can turn on in download mode isn't bricked.
You only have to download a official rom that you want and flash them with odin.
1- Download the rom and odin
2- turn on in download mode (vol down+ home + power then press vol up)
3- open odin and select the rom
4- conect the phone to pc
5- when appear a blue square press start
If you don't know how to flash a rom search here in the forum
At this moment the phone is connected and Odin has done it's job .... i think.
- in the upper left corner of Odin it says: PASS ! (in green)
- in lower left corner of Odin it says: All threads completed. (succeed 1 / failed 0)
What is the next step? Disconnect phone and reboot?
If you see the tutorial the phone should reboot him self. But if you did the right step turn it on and should start. The first bool should take more time than usual
I had to reboot it by hand but now It all worked fine.
Thanks!

[Q] Problem in CWM

i dont know wat is version of my cwm
But it shows only six options that are as listed below:
1. Reboot
2. Apply update from ADB
3. Apply update from SDCARD
4. wipe data/factory reset
5. wipe cache partition
6. apply update from cache
when i try third option i.e. Apply update from SDCARD, it gives an error msg unknown volume for path

please kindly help :crying:
model no. GT-I8552

Hmmm...
Are you sure this is CWM?
The options you see come from a stock recovery.
Try flashing another version of CWM.

YOU ARE DOING EVERYHING ON YOUR OWN RISK.
I DID NOT TEST THIS.
Download Samsung drivers here: http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/MOBILES/Samsung/Samsung-USB-Driver-for-Mobile-Phones-15270.shtml
Download odin: http://d-h.st/er8
The CWM revovery itself: http://d-h.st/0Fw
1. First be sure USB Debugging is checked in ur device ( Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging )
2. Extract the Odin file from the zip.
3. Open Odin3 (Run As Administrator).
4. Put your device in download mode. To do so, press Volume Down And Home And Power Button all together and when it vibrates release
Power Button but keep pressing left ones. You should have a triangle with an android janitor while it's saying downloading ..
VOL UP TO CONTINUE...
5. Now connect USB to PC ,you should see a blue rectangle with COM:xx and saying Added. It means that your device is ready to be flashed!
6. Go into the PDA section and select your .tar file.(CWM Recovery)
7. Dont check any option (F.reset time and Auto reboot are checked by default) So just uncheck Auto Reboot.
8. Now click Start.
9. When it's finished, it should say that "Res OK" in Odin..
10. Now remove ur USB and remove ur battery and put it back and go to Recovery Mode (Volume UP And Home And Power Button all
together and when it vibrates release Power Button but keep pressing left ones).
If you don't see Developer options go to Stettings>About phone> press Build version 10 times quickly
I dont know. problem?

Made it through Step 5, not sure what to do next

Howdy I have a older AT&T Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 GT-P5113 SGH-i497 Android 4.2.2
I followed the steps on forum thread Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 Development -->(ODIN + CWM 6 + ROOT + Stock) ATT / TMOBILE Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 {} {SGH-T779} by Childofthehorn
Well I made it through step 5, at least! (Odin displays green “Passed!”)
But the following steps:
6. Backup your existing image
7. Flash SuperSu from SDcard
8. WInning.
here's where I'm at:
(see attached)
strangely there is no button for attachment on the Editor Are attachments allowed on this forum? Peculiar!
Only choices on the Recovery screen are
reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from external storage
wipe data/factory reset
wipe cache partition
apply update from cache
Don't know how to "back up your existing image"
or "Flash SuperSU from SDcard."
(but I do have the SuperSU apk on the SDcard though; do I select "apply update from external storage"?)
How do I know I have root? Odin said "Passed!" in green, but I'm not sure what that entails. -- I don't want to use any of those root checkers on Google Play because they all appear to ad-filled junk.*
Do I have CWM 6 by this process? How can I tell?
Is it possible to upgrade to KitKat? or is the P5113's processor not capable of it (or something else prevents having KitKat)
Not sure what I should do next.
Thanks everyone!
After Odin says Passed did you let the tab reboot to the ROM? If so the ROM probably replaced CWM with stock recovery (stock ROMs tend to do this), so what you need to do is flash the recovery again via Odin, but once it completes immediately reboot to recovery using the key combination, do not let the ROM boot. Once the recovery has loaded it should automatically disable the recovery replacement system in the ROM, and you'll be able to proceed to step 6.

Do you uncheck Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time? With those enabled all Odin said was Reset! in blue.
For the 3rd step:
Childofthehorn says:
3. Open Odin (as administrator) and hit the "PDA" button, remember to uncheck the reset
I assume he means F. Rest Time in the Odin options tab
Seems to reboot immediately after Odin finishes, happens too fast; there's no time to reboot into recovery mode with the power+vol.

Just follow what the instructions said, but uncheck Auto Reboot. Then, once Odin is done, force reboot the tab by holding both power and vol button down for about 10 secs (until it reboots), then release the power button while still holding the vol button.
