ZTE V970 - disabling internal sdcard problem - ZTE Grand X V970

Hello there in forum
I have problem with disabling internal memory sdcard in ZTE V970.
I tryed to make everything in tutorial on SP flash tool and it diding worked.
After flashing the phone I got message "PMT changed"
Tryed flash disable internal memory .zip with CWM before reinstalling the ROM, no effect.
using ROM: 1.3 MOD
help me please, I cannot install any game from google play store, because there is "no space in memory"
on the memory setting i got 3 partitions:
- Internal memory (2,46 GB)
- Phone storage (54,97 MB)
- my SD 16 GB
EDIT: I found a solution
You just need the lewa_os_make_sdcard_internal_memory.zip installed via CWM after installing ROM, and the stupid tiny phone storage gone and You can install apps from google play store

Hi!
How can I not create a new thread. I will explain my problem in this thread.
as my mobile phone had only 500 mb I used ''disable_internal_sdcard.zip'' on ''SP Flash Tool''
and I

but now no longer recognizes memory cards, this would not be a problem if some applications did not need external storage
can anyone help me solve this problem?

Low Storage Space error

Hi,
I'm getting this error on start up:

I'm showing 0.91GB (1.97GB total) free in first internal storage
1.58GB (11.25GB total) free in the 2nd internal storage
26.82GB (29.76GB total) free on my SD card.
I've tried clearing the cache partition as posts from other devices suggested. I really don't want to do a full wipe so I hope someone has a quick fix.
Everything seems to be working fine, just not sure why I'm getting that error.. I only get the error on start up. I can get into Play Store fine (unlike others who have reported the same error message).
I'm running CM10 20130114 NIGHTLY and have seen it for the few week. I'm not sure if it's the ROM, some app, or something I did.
Much appreciated for any assistance.
you have all your pictures, video and music stored on the internal phone storage, and the external SD is almost empty. Move everything to external SD to get rid of that message
I freed up 3GB in the internal storage and am still getting the error.. I'll just do a full wipe on the weekend. Thanks for trying though.
Same problems
I have the same problem too.
I have 0.9 GB (1.97GB total) free in first internal storage
3.5 GB (11.25GB total) free in the 2nd internal storage
I'vw just updated to CM10 20130117 NIGHTLY and from that time I see this warning everytime I reboot.
I wiped full data before i upgrate and i dont know what is the problem. My phone still runs ok
Any one can solve this problem without wipe full data again?
solution
I found the solution
this is a known issue caused by Viber and/or Lucky Patcher. Move Viber to the SD Card, and it should be solved
Erm, what if it's lucky patcher?

Anybody got the CWM recovery (kk apk recovery) to detect ext. SD card?

Hi all,
I running stock kitkat and have the APK-installed kitkat CWM recovery. the apk from this thread Also in the ( lollipop thread), and I got stuck on recovery, and can't enter download mode. There is a ZIP fix that requires to be flashed from the recovery, but the recovery didn't recognize my external SD card.. So I was wondering if anyone was able to get the recovery to detect an external SD card or USB drive through OTG? and if so, what was the file system and other specs of the sd card?
Thanks in advance.

I don't know what your problem is cause it depends, but for me the only way I was able to communicate with the device was Sideload. regular ADB didn't work (device was unrecognized). if you are suffering from the same problem I had, check out this thread, but sideload the fix.

unable to flash anything in TWRP, SD card wont mount or show contents

Hi!
I picked up a Mate 8 from a local service provider and would love to flash a new ROM to get rid of the ugly stock one, but I am stuck when trying to flash anything from TWRP.
The phone boots fine, I unlocked the bootloader, and has TWRP Mate 8 version...I can't locate any files from the internal storage though. I understand this is due to the system being encrypted. I cant seem to get around that though. I tried the format data option, hit yes, then go back but that obviously has deleted what I had stored (the SU zip). I can't mount the SD either afterwards, to load it in recovery.
I tried using the Italian knife tool, and used the Root option, and option 3, but get an error: error: cannot load '.\rec\boot.img
I am not a pro on this so it might be something farely stupid. I would love if anyone could help me with this...

--------------------------------
Edit:
I was able to solve myself. It was a rookie mistake. Perhaps the internal storage is encrypted, however I was able to flash SU using TWRP by inserting an external SD, which I had not done before. I was able to view contents from that location and did not need to use the Italian knife tool.

To delete system apps, download system app uninstaller from play store and grand it superuser permission.

Xperia XA storage

Hello guys, I decided to leave my aging Nexus 5 to come back to the good old Xperia brand, I got myself this beautiful device that is our beloved Xperia XA (got it free on contract so yea that's cool)
image is better than words so here's a screenshot:

my question is: Why do 5.9 + 3.1 = 12 ???
PS: cache is empty
Thanks in advance!
I think it's because the app don't show you all partitions. If you use third-party app or TWRP you will see the difference (and the truth).
oh alright so, thanks a lot mate !
I'm having a problem with storage too. I tried using adoptable storage but something went horribly wrong to the point I have to reformat my whole sd card as well as my phone. Is there a definite (like safe-proof) way to do adoptable storage?

Works fine for me, just a display bug who show wrong memory size. I use "root essentials" to enable Adoptable Storage (full, not mixed). Format your SD with Gparted (don't work with default Windows format tool) in FAT32 before enabling it and after disabling it to avoid corrupted SD.

Resolving Bootloop has removed my Internal Storage

Yesterday I got all my root set up and working fine on my Redmi Note 9 Pro using Magisk (albeit without TWRP installed as I didn't know anything about it at the time) then I decided to install the Smali Patcher module with Magisk so that I could Spoof Pokemon Go with my son in the evenings. I created the module no problem, but when Magisk flashed it, my phone bricked and got stuck in a bootloop to fastboot. I eventually got TWRP installed and factory reset my phone in the "WIPE" menu, I used the standard Wipe that deletes user data etc then factory resets the phone. Everything seemed fine, I was able to set up the phone as per normal until after about half an hour I noticed none of my apps had installed yet. I went into the Play Store and most of had a "couldn't restore" error on them and clicking on one and trying to force it to install would come up with an error about insufficient storage space.
I plugged my phone into my PC to have a look and to be amazement, Internal Storage doesn't show up at all, only the SD Card shows. After over an hour, only one or two apps have successfully installed so I assume they are installing onto the SD card and that's why they are taking an absolute age to install. Most of the apps just flat out won't install so I can pretty much just make a phone call, that's it. Am i right in thinking I have corrupted my Internal Storage somehow and the OS is now isntalled onto the SD card? Maybe the Internal Storage has been formatted and not reallocated or something? How do I go about restoring my phone to how it should be ie 64gb Internal Storage.
I have tried restoring to factory settings again and it made no difference,

Reflash phone's original Stock ROM to get rid off of all the modifications you applied so far.
