I think its gonna be pretty cool. I'm probably gonna get it when it comes out.

I really appreciate such projects.
Building my own phone would be awesome, I would take damn much RAM and good screen and good cam.

Medium size screen (we don't know the sizes, only small, medium, large [phablet])
Best processor available, probably a tegra
3gb RAM
Largest battery available
10mp camera, don't really care much about photos
That's about it. I'll probably get some custom modules when people start making them

Searching for a high-end dual-core Android phone

Hi there!
I'm in the hunt to replace my HTC Sensation this coming Christmas/New Year sales with a new Android 4/4.1 phone.
My budget is £300-ish and what i'm looking for is the phone must be dual-core, a 1.0Ghz CPU (at least), 1GB RAM (at least), current-gen GPU, a BSI camera (with all the image stabilisation/low-light/1080p stereo recording, burst-mode, etc.features), a very good sound quality (with Dolby, some sort of surround sound and customisable equalizers) and one that has a replaceable battery and/or good battery life.
Any suggestions guys?
Could you please use the stickied thread in the Q&A forum for these type of questions please.

New Smartphone

Hello group. I'm planning to get a new Android device to the family and my choices are nexus 5 and Sony Xperia T2
Kindly suggest me the best of these..

I would say Nexus 5. Its very popular and has a big community. Which means more customization if that's your thing. Idk much about the Experia series though.
You might want to check out the gigantic sticky thread at the top of this page dedicated to this type of question. I don't have experience with either but I have a few friends who have the Nexus 5 and love it. I know there's a lot of people on here who really like that phone but the t2 I'm less familiar with.
Nexus 5 especially if you're looking for a device that gets the most attention from Google and the community. This means the device will be kept up to date for a while and you'll have the best rooting/recovery/ROM/etc support from the community.
Thanks for the reply there. Nexus 5 is no doubt a very good phone but T2 is what is stealing the focus. Its a phablet.. With a good Battery backup

Personally, I'd go towards Xperia due to battery life ^_^~)

Hi JustM!

OnePlus X - will I be satisfied?

So few days ago I ordered OnePlus X and can`t wait for it, but as far as I go I`m getting worried that the specs is too low for 2016 smart phone. I`m planing to use it at least 1.5 year and I want it to work as fast as any high-end smartphone. So I`m asking you guys if that Qualcomm® SnapdragonTM 801 processor with 2.3 GHz Quad-core CPUs; Qualcomm® AdrenoTM 330 will satisfy me after a year or so? I`m planning to use a stock android rom with a custom optimization, for the most time I will be using this device for web browsing, messaging and few basic games/apps (For example: Crossy road, Youtube, Spotify) the most important thing for me that everything would be working as fast as possible. What do you think? Is this device is the right choice for me?
You could read some review threads in the device sections general area here,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-x
And decide for yourself. But if you must ask others , then here's a dedicated thread for such questions,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1620179
I'll close this thread. :good:
