Hi,
I want to buy a android based smartphone
My budget is around 15K , which phone would you suggest ?
I am looking for a 8MP onwards camera , a 1.2 GHz or more processor also
the phone should be able to multitask without a lag and have a good clear display.
The brands I am looking for are LG,Micromax,Samsung,HTC, Sony
Thanks in advance.
If your budget is 15000 "rupees" then wait for moto g.
Hey buddy go for Micromax Canvas A117 magnus or lenovo.
Worth buying.

I'm trying to upgrade my S3, I'm looking to get the device that will have the longest life since I have VZW unlimited and don't necessarily get upgrades every 2 years. Don't care as much about actual specs anymore, looking more for what will be supported the longest. I'm thinking the X, it seems a bit better in spite of lower specs and is supported by a Google company.
(I may not have much of a choice, the device is coming from Asurion and I'm in discussions with them to get a different model as a replacement. They said they're open to it because of my history with them)

Good Luck :good:
I want to buy an android device in the range of 12-14k. I did some research and Gionee Dream D1 seems to be a pretty good phone.
Please let me know if it is a good choice. Also tell if OTA android upgrades are available for this phone. Please reply soon.
Any suggestions. This is for India.
Look like a good phone, (average camera thought)
Problem with this kind of phone is support (not sure it will be upgraded to next android version) and few community (few custom ROM).
Take a look at the moto G if it's available in india
Feel free to post about it in one of several other phone threads around, like these:

I think its gonna be pretty cool. I'm probably gonna get it when it comes out.
I really appreciate such projects.
Building my own phone would be awesome, I would take damn much RAM and good screen and good cam.
4GB RAM
Best screen available 5,3"
2,3 Ghz Octa Core best available
38 MP camera
16000Mha battery
What would you setup be?

Medium size screen (we don't know the sizes, only small, medium, large [phablet])
Best processor available, probably a tegra
3gb RAM
Largest battery available
10mp camera, don't really care much about photos
That's about it. I'll probably get some custom modules when people start making them
