[Q] ZeroLemon? - Note Edge Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm a big fan of the Note series and the ZeroLemon battery. I'm currently on a Note 2 and the Note Edge has caught my eye. I've been waiting for this for a while now. Anyone have any insight of how ZeroLemon will be able to attach to the Edge? Is this going to be a problem or will they solve it with something simple and elegant.

Probably won't be a 10,000 but I'm certain there will be extended batteries for this.

I'm looking forward to an extended ZeroLemon battery for the Edge as well. I had one for the Galaxy S3 and currently for the Note 3. They've been great and with the Power Saving mode on the Edge/Note 4, it should really help with battery life.

zerolemon and note edge
Hi there some one said he posted a question on when zerolemon will have a battery for Note 4 on their facebook wall. They answered and said soon. I dont have facebook. If any one of you can do that for the edgd will be great. I only have till the 21 of this month to change from 4 to edge. If no battery is coming up(coz i was concerned how they will make the cover, which i already dont like), the edge is worthless with its battery

Until it comes out this could come in handy and with a combination of the 2 batteries, you'd equal out to the average battery size of a ZL -

Have you tried this or seen any reviews about it?

I only got a note 3 but plan on getting the edge so been looking at accessories, nope haven't seen any reviews for it yet. But all positive feedback from users who bought it, dunno how many of them sent a review about the item though.

New ebay "Note Edge Extended Battery" shows up with this result: http://www.ebay.com/itm/361216507361 Mugen Note Edge Extended Battery and Case 6000mAh.

Slim extended battery don't work well. Usually falsely advertised for their capacity. Can't get more capacity into a battery if you don't increase the real estate of the battery
IMO Anker are a great battery. And their CS is second to none :good:

From the past, NFC and kickstand has been done with other phone models, wireless charging might not be possible.
There might be a stand along wirless charging battery by anymode (samsung sister/partner company or a third party one), but this one has not been confirmed.
I never needed one for my S4, so I am guessing I will get by without a second on the S5. I do have a 7800 mah portable charger that we bring along on trips and events should anyone need to power up. Battery life has definitely improved since my Thunderbolt/ Galaxy Nexus days.

Not sure about Anker and other 3rd party batteries. Steve Litchfield did a test on several 3rd party batteries (inc. Anker) and they all don't hold as much charge as the original. You can get physically bigger ones but they don't appear to be as energy dense as the originals. Still for the price, they made sense as spare/back up batteries compared to originals.

That is what i meant. The Anker i had with my S4 wasn't as good as the original but not far off. So comparing Anker vs original it was probably better value pound for pound. You could probably get 2 Anker ones for the price of a Samsung.
I go with Seideo myself. They are quite expensive but the extended battery + Case/Clip combo works well. I started with them on my Palm Pre and have bought their stuff for every phone after that. Generally their cases and clips hold up well and the batter adds a few days worth of life. Your mileage may vary though.
I found this 5600mA extended battery here:
http://www.batterybay.net/Extended-Battery-for-Samsung-Galaxy-S5-p/samsung-cs-smi960hl.htm
I previously used Batterybay battery. Fair performance but cheap price (relatively to Mugen)
I think I will give it a vote this time. Anyone here tried that before???

OR, just buy the stock battery that comes with the S5 or the battery/charger combo if you wanna keep it slim as stock. That's what I would do. The KINPS 4000mah battery for my Note 2 that I bought from Ebay was not any better than the stock 3100mah that came with it.

Question about Galaxy S5 bulky extended battery

In a few weeks after Galaxy S5 launched I would like to get one. Have been using Nexus S for years but the screen, speed, and performance of GS5 are drawing me. Do you think S5 also need some extra batteries to carry in pocket or bag? The only slim extended I’ve used from mpj giving me 1-2 hours more.
I would like to ask those who has used bulky extended batteries, is it easy to adapt to the added weight? Thank you for your kindly reply
i'm sure in about a month or less their be some extended battery out for the S5 I'm hoping Zero Lemon make one i've loved the gs4 7500mAh one last little over 2days :]
Got the OEM Extended Battery for my S3 last year and never looked back. Always said no to them as I didn't want more bulk but the S3 was so thin anyway that when I got it, it was completely fine. Now I NEED one for this phone but not some outrageous 7000 Mah one that doesn't have a back cover with the water seal on it.
Here's to hoping Samsung gets out the OEM one faster then a couple months.
I'm keeping an eye on ZeroLemon's FB page for updates.

of the above, i would stick to anker or zerolemon. I have tried mugen in the past but wasn't quite satisfied with their products. Anker imo is reliable, so is zerolemon, although there have been(and there always will be) complaints about both these products. personally I havent had any issues with them but your mileage may vary.

I have the Zerolemon.
Using it on OB7 full stock with Root and I got 5h:47min:26sec of screen on and left 34%.
I go to my job at 7~8h and back home at 17h with 30% at least
I paid 200 reais or 60 dollars and it is awesome to me.
Anker is the only way to go for me fro any battery or power supply for any device. They make super quality products that are reliable.
That's just my opinion though. Many people have had great luck with the other brands. But I can personally attest to the fact that no Anker product I've ever used has ever let me down.
Mugen Power batteries are horrible! I've owned a couple and they would die after 6-8 months! Zero lemon has never done me wrong. And their batteries seem to last forever!

Yo, i am brazilian too, and i have one ZL 7500mAh too, i paid 240 reais for my battery.
About SOT and Usage Time, i got 10-14h everyday and 1-3 days of usage.
The phone turns a brick, but the battery life is awesome.
Anker gets my vote. Top notch products and customer service.
I have read good things about Anker batteries.
However I have not used them. I have an MPJ aHr oversize, but same physical size replacement, that lasts longer than OEM battery. I followed the instructions of completely draining and recharging 3 full cycles and am completely satisfied.
Anyone still using zl 7500mah extended battery?

Legit aftermarket larger internal battery?

Was looking at batteries on ebay and seen a couple sellers offering 3200mah batteries. Has anyone tried these or have any experience with them? Are there any known battery makers that makes these for our phones?

Samsung is one of the best Lithium battery manufacturers on the planet. Finding a higher capacity cell that would fit the S6 is pretty much impossible and those 3200mah batteries are most likely fakes
Ya that's what I thought. I was just wondering if a legit company had made one. Like anker or zero lemon. Not really into the battery case thing
Just an an FYI: the last phones that had official extended battery support support was S2 and S3. ZeroLemon made one for S4 but the bulk added is just ridiculous. S5 is "waterproof" and that feature would go away with 3rd party or even official support and cause even more issues among the average joe's. The S6 back is sealed. So unless you can magically modify the whole frame to keep the support it adds and fit a larger battery while at the same time magically invent extra space for it you're unfortunately out of luck.
Maybe would be possible to use the 3200 mah battery and cover of the S6 active? That would be wonderful
Those batteries are fake. Never trust batteries from eBay. Your best solution is to buy a good battery case like the mophie, but it is a bit pricy.
I bought one and the battery was still terrible. I ended up selling the phone. Probably will wait to see what the s7 has to offer. The s4, s5 and s6 were disappointing phones.

For me battery on S6 is great, holds me all day, and if i really need i can plug in fast charge for 10-20 minutes that gives me 4-6 additional hours.

Fast charger is underated... When I had my Z2, battery would last longer but when it didn't I basically needed 4 hours to charge it again.
I remember needing my GPS for Google Maps to go to an scheduled event... I had to use my car charger all the time.
It was very annoying.
With the S6 in 25 minutes charging I already have a decent battery to use.
The only battery that does work and its 3000mAh is the galaxy S 6 edge + battery, its the same flex connector and width but not the same height as the oem one, so some modifications need to be made to the mid frame to make it fit, the galaxy s7 battery is also 3000mAh and has the same flex connector/height/width as the s6, so in theory it should also fit with 0 modification to the mid frame.

He stated same height and width so I am assuming the same dimensions. Might have to give this a go and order an OEM replacement s7 battery and take it in to get it swapped.

You want to put a 3000 Mah battery of the S6 edge plus in a S6? If you mean this i wuold appreciate to see your progress!!!
Any news?
PMed him and got no response as well. Does anyone actually have the measurements for the battery for both phones? From the pictures they look really similar with the s7 having a slightly longer cable. It also looks a bit thicker but I think the black bars just gives that illusion. Hell I'd swap it out and use it without the back cover if I had to.

Samsung said that the dimensions are very similar as the dimensions of the battery of our S6.
So i think we can do it.
But i think is better with the battery of s7 flat
Ok guys i finally was able to get an s7 battery, in the picture you can see the s7 battery on the left and the s6 on the right, the s7 battery is physicly smaller im very surprise by that being that its 3000mAh vs the s6 2550mAh, but it does fit, the only issue is that the s7 battery is about 1mm thicker..that could be a problem, il update with more pictures on monday with the battery on my s6.

Galaxy Note 9 Extended Batteries

I'm going to the store tomorrow to pre-order my Note 9.
Can we make an entire thread dedicated to extended batteries?
I currently have a Galaxy Note 4 that I'm going to be trading in for my Note 9, and use a Zerolemon battery with it. From what I understand, the Note 4 is the last phone where you can replace the battery, and that any new battery is basically an add-on.

I get that the older Note models may need a battery case/extended batteries,I'm using a Note 5 myself that has 625 discharge cycles & 89% of the original usable capacity.
That's great, but, compared to later model phones, especially this year's SnapDragon 845 powered phones, the difference is night & day as far as overall battery efficiency.
Unless you're one of the uber power users with higher than typical screen-on time & usage, I'd give the phone a chance before spending any $$$ on battery cases.
FWIW,I'm not a fan of the skinny phone movement,LOL,but, the battery cases tend to go to the other extreme, that's why I'd recommend giving the phone a chance as-is...........
