Hmm ... I think you flashed the wrong recovery (for GT-N7000) to your Notes 2 (GT-N7100).
So try to flash the correct recovery to your Note 2. To do this, you need to boot it into download mode again.
Here you can find the Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100, N7105 > Galaxy Note II Android Development > [n710x/T889][CWM Advanced Edition] PhilZ Touch - NEW JB 4.2 migration support thread.
And here you can ask further questions if needed: Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100, N7105 > Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting.
Or ask in the Samsung Galaxy Note II GT-N7100, N7105 > Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [NOOB FRIENDLY] Ask the question! [N7100 and other variants] thread to get quick and proper help.

Nothing appear on screen

If neither recovery mode (hold Volume UP + HOME + POWER) nor download mode (Volume DOWN + HOME + POWER) works, then it sounds like a hard--brick.
Usually after flashing a wrong recovery you only get a semi- or soft-brick with download mode still working.
Please check again ... maybe the screen is black but the device is going into download mode.
And post your question in the linked help thread. There are many experienced users having the same (or a similar) device. So they may have additional ideas.

is there anywhere with a step by step method of rooting a galaxy s3 with single syllable words and big pictures detailing exactly what i need to do? ive spent literally 6 hours to get to the error message "setsockopt() failed:bad adress. this device is not supported. kallsyms_addresses search failed" followed by "unfortunately, root failed, press any key to continue" i have the drivers installed, the adt bundle thing, and now im stuck. please, take pity on the fool and explain in small words and large pictures what needs to be done. im certain there is an easy fix that would take mere seconds to put in place, but i cant find it.
oh, and im using saferoot.
Hi
I can suggest you to see and follow this => How to Root the Samsung Galaxy S III – XDA Developer TV

So it's a special version of the SGS3.
And holding Volume DOWN + HOME + POWER keys does not work any more?
Have a look here: Samsung Galaxy S III I9300, I9305 Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) > Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] Rooting Galaxy S III SCL21.
There are some useful links to hopefully fix your bricked phone.
Else you may ask in the Samsung Galaxy S III I9300, I9305 Galaxy S III > Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [HELP THREAD] Galaxy S3 Ask any question. thread ... but it's originally for the international variants of the S3.
Good luck :fingers-crossed:

If neither download mode nor recovery mode is working, your device is hard-bricked.
AFAIK only a mainboard replacement can fix this.
But ask in the linked threads/forums before spending the money for a hardware replacement in a service center.
If you are still on warranty, feel lucky

Hi, i was trying to install stock ROM on galaxy gt5830i (ace) because it was bricked, and i accidentally installed the ROM of galaxy gt5570i, now im stuck i tried to go download mode using adb (since i cant use buttons its a different ROM) and could only go to recovery, now im stuck in recovery since there's no choice to press, volume up works as volume up and home button work as volume down, the volume down button doesn't work at all, and i cant make selection using either or using power button, im stuck in recovery and no option to use Odin, i literally bricked the phone, any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Hi,
Flashing files not made for exact model of device can often lead to a brick unfortunately. Must always be careful and read read read before doing anything.
However, I would ask for opinions from members who own your device, here...
> Legacy & Low Activity Devices > Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830, S5830i, Ace II > Galaxy Ace S5830i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [FAQ][HELP THREAD]Ask any questions here about s5830i/c/m/9i
Good luck!

Hi,
Likely using Odin to flash your stock firmware is the answer. Here's a similar thread,
> T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3 > T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting > [Q] T-Mobile Note 3 N900T Stuck In Boot Loop From CWM
If you still need help or have future questions, Here's a good place to ask for help,

Read the first link I gave you... They suggest where in the thread. Or try sammobile website.
If those don't work, please ask in the second link I gave you. ?
Hey
I've had bootloops and what I did was to install CWM all over again in Odin so I could access again to CWM, I unchecked Auto reboot waited 1min and while In download mode I did the hardware key combination and got into CWM and then I re-installed everything.
