My sleep/wake button is acting weird, I have to like press it 4 or more times to get it to sleep
if I press it once it'll turn back on until I continue to press it until it shuts off
Any recommendations?
rma or repair it?
Too much sugar!

Is it stock or custom ROM ? Some Roms have tweaks to the kernel that may cause issues with the device sleeping or when you turn them off. Depending of it you are stock or running a custom ROM there are several things you can try to eliminate the software as the issue.
Reinstall using one of the nexus toolkits to download and flash the official Google sick image replacing the partitions, boot loader etc.
Use a different ROM and try your luck.

100% Stock, I guess LG Repair/RMA is my only option, I'll try some pressured air later.
Edit, Looks like the canned air did the trick!

I was on an very old version of baked rom when i decided it was time to upgrade to the new pac rom. I havr installed 3 different builds of that and the tablet never boots. Just freezes on the animation and resets. So then i decided to try out cm11. It installed perfectly and booted fine but about 5 minutes into uaing it it freezed and reset. It has now been doing this on any rom i try. PAC, CM11, CM10.2, CMB. Unfortunatly i have been trying to fix this issues on vacataion with only my phone. I even upgraded my twrp version and tries switching to cwm. Still no luck. Btw i am doing a clean wipe everytime. Anybody have any similar issues?

My guess: You are not on the required bootloader.
Thank you. How would you suggest checking weather i am on the right one? And what would the proper bootloader for this device be? Is this somthing i will be able to flash in recovery or will i need adb?

You find that information in the OP of the rom you want to install. For CM 10 I believe it has to be 10.6.1.14.x. For CM 11 I think you also need a modified recovery.
Boot into the bootloader and read the tiny script. That will tell you what you have installed.
I am on cm 11 m4 stock kernel and its been crashing/rebooting on me occasionally. Earlier today it did so and now all my accounts (2xgmail, fb, twitter, cm)and text messages are gone. Other data appears to be intact such as XDA and untappd. Anyone able to provide any tips to help figure out what the hell is going on and possibly where my accounts all went?
Not at a PC now so I'll have to do some searching. The XDA app searching is not so good...

sounds like data corrupted after a crash. do you use fsync off? if it crashes often for you, id look for a new rom thats more stable than cm(no, cm isnt the epitome of stable).
Unless fsync is defaulted off in bone stock cm then no I don't.
Likely going to go try some others after this incident.

I've seen this happened many times before I don't think it's a ROM issue but more a recovery issue. try rebooting one or two more times to see if everything works as normal I notice sometimes the data partition wont mount correctly and hence the lack of accounts
Seen this with stock too update to twrp 2.7 and see if the reboots help to mount the ddata partition.
I've rebooted multiple times but it didn't help with bringing back what was lost. Tried fix perms also to no avail. Just updated to twrp 2.7 and did another fix perms but no change. Now that I've re-setup a few accounts those are staying just fine and new SMS messages since the problem are there. It's odd because it is acting like I wiped data but only for apps that have an account under the system settings menu.

This morning, when starting my commute to work, I noticed that the S5 wasn't connecting to my BT car stereo. I checked the phone and BT was off. I tapped the icon and it did the slight dimming for a few seconds and then went back to the off state. I opened up BT settings and tapped the slider to turn it on, got the message "Turning on bluetooth", but again, after a few seconds, it returned to the off position.
I'm running the stock ROM, rooted with the hotspot mod, and the restart menu mod.
I tried restarting, powering off and removing battery and restarting, restarting and hitting the BT settings as quickly as possible, but it still will not work. Permissions on /system/vendor/lib/libbt-vendor.so are rw-r--r--, so I don't think it has anything to do with permissions.
I read a thread regarding a different phone and ROM having this problem and they fixed it by flashing a different kernel. Any ideas before I take this route?
EDIT: Just to be sure, I rebooted into recovery and ran fix permissions. No change.
Does anyone have the stock kernel that I can try to flash or Odin? Thought I might give this a try before going with a modded kernel.
Thanks
As much as I hated to do it, a factory reset fixed the problem. Still don't know what actually caused the problem.

Are you going to reflash the mods you were using to see if the problem was the same? Also, you might be able to just make a backup of your system/data/recovery and flash it over so you don't have to factory reset.

I tried the backup, but it brought the problem back as well. Not sure if it was something in the system or days our apps. Still need to do some forensics.
If you flashed off of an SD card, sometimes you can get subtle corruptions? I thought I saw something about it before..

I just picked up a bad esn sprint phone. Its pure stock, locked bootloader and all. I did a couple factory resets. And cant for the life of me figure out whats causing the lag. For a minute or two after boot its tolerable app drawer speed but whenever I open something (any app at all) it will hang anywhere from 5-30 seconds. Then once the app opens it will hang up again. Sometimes popping up the not responding wait or force close box. I hit wait and almost instantly its useable but laggy. Anyone have any ideas

Backup your stuff. Unlock bootloader. Flash factory image. Report back if it solves the problem.

No working pc at the moment. And why should you need to reflash the image on a factory unrooted device. It seems after i clear memory with clean master it speeds right up again for 15-20 minutes. It gets down to 11% available memory. I don't have really anything installed except xda and some tools. My hope for this phone is to try and learn how to port a ROM and want this phone to run smooth pure stock before i start so if it has a lag when i port i will know its my fault. And when flashing stock image can i downgrade without any issues

Factory images are one of the best sources to start afresh. Flashing a factory image (4.1.2 in this case) will wipe EVERYTHING and you will be able check if the lag is still present.
And since, you are working on porting a new ROM which I thing is > 4.1.2, you will not face any downgrading issues.
Hello I'm not really sure were to post this so here goes.....
I installed the latest exodus ROM and after I've been having random reboots shut downs and boot loops I've tried installing different ROMs and its still the same issues and I don't know what else to do [emoji19]
Thanks,
Me lol
If this is happening on all ROMs truly it sounds like your best bet is flashing a factory image through Fastboot but back up all of your data first.
But more information would help, this is all I can recommend given that information.
More information as in? I'll give all the info you want

Flash the factory image and see if the problem still persists. If out does it's hardware. If out doesn't then it's how you're flashing roms. Are you doing a clean install each time or a dirty flash
