Hey, so I got this problem with the original HTC one SV (european version with SIM card model) and had to get another logic board. Ordered one from ebay and it has finally arrived. Now the problem is - that this HTC ONE SV from USA is Boost version with 4G LTE and it has no sim card slot, pre-programmed sim card literally inside of the phone. However, I took off the sim reader and unplugged it from the old PCB which is easily done, and replaced it on to the new working PCB. now if I start my phone it will ask for the PIN code, it does recognize the sim card from the other phone sim reader that I have attached, but it does not pick up the signal. And if I go to settings menu in about section it still shows old pre-programmed phone number and not the new one.
How do I go about reprogramming it to EU version official HTC ONE SV? Hope to hear some suggestions.
Thanks

Hey, I've loving the review about the Htc One looked at S & yes the phone is sent with a MicroSim ...
I would like to set my phone, but still have an old sim that is great and I would like to keep my old phone number and ask my is:
Can I have my SIM CARD & big punch then the MicroSimAdapter the old card in the Htc One & S put it all work?
that makes no sense .
Do you mean can you cut an original SIM down to size for the One S ? If so the answer is maybe. Some chips are bigger than others so it might not work. Ask you provider for a micro sim, They are free.
If you meant can you use a micro SIM and use an adapter to use that SIM in another phone ? The answer is yes, you can..

Hi guys,
I am having SIM card issues on ATT HTC One XL. It has Android 4.2.2 and the SIM card is not being detected. I already went to the ATT store and got a new SIM card but it still doesn't work. Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
It's possible that the contacts on the SIM card aren't meeting with the contacts within the phone properly. Remove your SIM card and put a small piece of adhesive tape on the back side of the SIM card (the dude without the contacts). This will force the contacts together a bit better. This is a relatively common problem with this phone, this method has solved for problem for quite a few people, including me.

Hello. I have a Htc Inspire that I bought off ebay brand new sealed. I ordered the straight talk sim for At&t device and activated the sim online. The sim activated fine (I have used this same sim in another At&t phone and was able to make a call without issue). I cant for the life of me get this sim to work in my Htc Inspire. I have used google, the forum here plus others. Read and read but I have only seen issues with people not getting the mms to work or how there Inspire 4g works great. If anybody can point me in the right direction I thank you very much.
***Info about the phone***
Bought phone new on ebay sealed in original box
Unlocked from code bought on ebay (dont think I needed it but ST employee gave me this as a possible issue)
Tried the sim in another phone (worked without issue)

Somehow i don't really know about that but... Try upgrading the radio. Search around the forums for the radio images and stuff. It might come in handy.

Ok , I figured out my issue. Yes I do feel like a complete idiot. Simple fix was to put the bottom cover on ( the one that covers the sd & sim card). This can be closed or marked as fixed.

Yes lol that cover is actually the radio antenna because it's built in... For future reference if you start having signal issues proceed to ebay and by a new battery door and sim/sd door it cost me 5 bucks brand new.

Ok thanks for the tip buddy.
So after much research deciding between a new Moto X and a Z3 I found a great deal on a D6633 and pulled the trigger and should have it later this week.
My questions is regarding the Nano SIM the phone uses, right now I have an HTC ONE M7 which uses a micro SIM. I have read many threads and people say if they request a new NANO SIM or if they go in the store and get a NANO SIM they have issues getting the phone working on LTE (I think its because ATT does ntot sell the Z3 so they have a hard time registering the IMEI correctly). Most people just say to use your current SIM and don't say anything to ATT. So if I wanted to go that route my only option would be to cut my current SIM, I had tried to do that before and the cutter I used destroyed my SIM card.
So people with experience getting the D6633 working on ATT what route did you go, if I were to try and cut my SIM I would get a much better cutter this time around but it still makes me a bit nervous with my past experience trying it. If you got a new NANO SIM how much of a hassle was it to get working on LTE and do you have any tips to make my transition more smooth.
Thanks!
I can not speak for ATT, but I came from the Nexus 5 which also used a micro sim. I used a scissor to cut it and it works flawlessly!

AT&T should be able to give you a nano sim, as the iPhone 6/6+ use the same, they should have some in stock. I do not see why it would cause LTE issues.
AT&T should be able to use the IMEI in their system for the M7 and assign that to the Nano sim. I had an AT&T micro sim in my T-Mobile unlocked Note 3, went into the store with my Developer edition Moto X and asked for a new nano sim. They didn't ask me for either of my phones - just transferred whatever IMEI was in their system to the nano, handed it over and then waited while I booted up the Moto X to confirm everything was working and didn't even charge me for the new sim card. If they run into issues just tell them to use an IMEI off one of the demo phones in their showroom.

I think that is based on old information. Back in the day when I was trying to get a micro-SIM provisioned for LTE with my (unbranded) Sony Xperia ZL, the store rep had to use the IMEI from his own AT&T Branded Xperia TL for me.
Last week I went in to get a nano-SIM for my Z3, the store rep just entered its IMEI into their system, and I got LTE right away.
One thing to be aware of is that you also need to enable LTE in the phone itself:
Settings -> Wireless & Networks/More... -> Mobile networks -> Network Mode -> LTE (preferred)/WCDMA/GSM
And of course you need a D6503/D6603, with support for AT&T's LTE frequencies.
