[Q] Question about Vengeance Kernel - Sony Xperia Miro, Tipo (Dual), J, E

Now Id be posting in teh Vengeance kernel thread, but that requires me to have 10 posts. I don't. Now, after flashing Shivang Dave's Vengeance Reloaded my baseband became like this "7x25A_M:ERROR_A:ERROR". Will that cause any problems? Other than that the phone works very well overclocked to 1.3 GHz.
So my next question is about Pure Performances X and Pure Audio 2. One of them causes my phone to turn off at 10% battery, and as a whole show the wrong percentages. Anyone knows such a problem?

First try reflashing your baseband. if it s working properly there might not be anything wron with it . but just reflash it to be safe
I have used pure audio so i m not sure but i ve been using pure performance and my phone is working perfectly. did u turn on any power savers

flash baseband and that will go away... it will mot create any issues...

i think baseband 7x25A_M:ERROR_A:ERROR is not a problem, but the problem is in my miro, i got FC when open contact and then when i open it again all my contact is gone,
Governors : OndemandX
IO Shedulers : sio
Frequencies: 245 Mhz - 1.008 Ghz
is anyone have same problem

I used Flashtool, excluded anything but baseband and flashed, yet the issue did not go away! :/
As for the pure performance, ill flash them one by one to see in which one the problem is.

FC isn't related to baseband.. and flashing baseband should make that go away

When I flash your kernel I see change in the signal strength. While It's full at the moment, with the Error baseband the signal gets twice as weak.
So I start up flashtool, connect the phone, choose the firmware for the phone and choose to flash only the baseband. The problem still persists,
however. I mean, are there any other files I should copy before flashing the new kernel and pasting them in the phone later?

More info. Firmware? Kernel?
I rmember having those issues
I had the similar issues but since i moved to Pyromod's ROM my phone is working like a charm. It only FC at the beginning and once that is it. Rest of the time it runs perfect. My current version is PyroMOD 1.1 and FW is 3.12. So far it is one of the most stable release i have seen.

Do you use an overclocked cpu? If so, at which frequency (1,5 GHz, 1,8GHz)?
Try to clean you sim card.
The phone may reboot if it looses connection with the sim card, and can happen because of dust and dirt.
Be gentle with it, and if you have placed you fingers on the connectors (the gold) then try to clean it with some rubbing alcohol
Possible that a firmware update went slightly awry. Have you tried reflashing your firmware? Or perhaps you could use another radio? (see Development forum) - I had a similar problem with my phone shutting down randomly, and a reflash of firmware and radio seemed to do the job.

yes. overclocked cpu to 1.5 ghz.
so, it is a reason?????

1,5 ghz are no problem. that's the default rate the sensation hardware can deliver (for normal sensation htc set down the clock rate to 1,2).
Maybe chrwadum's or Pash.'s answer can solve this issue.
Personally I would reinstall firmware and ROM.

rom vs firm ???

i get random restarts but that dont bother me its the random power offs that get me mad when i pull phone out and its off
i have changed a few roms and firmwear and still seem to get it not oc so why why why
1.17 for Gingerbread.
3.32 or 3.33 for ICS.
If you've got that right, then it shouldn't be a firmware issue.
right now i am on 332 t-Mobile and pk 101 for rom and new radio but have tried different roms and mismatched firm and radios

Clock it down then - try 15xx for starters as not all CPUs can manage the higher clock speeds and this could be your cause of reboots.
no mine handles well up to 1800+ i get power offs on all speeds
i just flashed 3.33 and havnt seen a power off yet maybe i got a bad flash

[Q] Issue: Screen don't want to go sleep

Hi everyone,
I have weird issue, screen don't want to go into sleep mode.
I tried to change settings: 15s, 30s, 45s. Still the same.
After reboot it work correctly but only few hours.
I don't want flash my rom again becouse I've set everything after yesterday flash. :crying:
My configuration:
Android Revolution HD 6.7.2
CPU OC 1782 MHz
GPU - 320 MHz
Kernel SebastianFM 1.5.2
Installed extensions:
Adreno Drivers 2.18
ics_small_89-fronts
(6.7.x_XE)battery_fix(norecent,eqs2,4gicons)
Ultra smooth Rosie
JellyBean Animations
Any idea what should I do, guys ?
You likely have a application that's preventing your device from sleeping. Check permissions on your applications and you will find the culprit. Best wishes.also when installing apps look at what the developers say in certain apps it will clearly state PREVENT Device from sleeping. Hope this helps.

You can use "Battery use" to see which app is using your battery. Try killing the apps that are running, until you find which is causing it.
I've formated SD (long format) and flashed rom again, .
I try to use clean rom few hours and check if the issue is still.
Just install DualCore-rc8
BTW. Do u thing OC can do this problem ?
My phone worked stable on maximum CPU frequency - 1832 MHz and 320 MHz GPU

I don't think OC can cause this problem but then I think 1832Mhz is way too high and may cause instability to your phone, try to tune it down. In fact there won't be a significant performance improvement even if you OC it so high. Not worth frying your phone's CPU for that insignificant gain.
It's a application like I said that's preventing your device from sleeping! Find that app and your issue will be resolved.

Or better still, read the last 2-3 pages of my thread, its all there.
I think its my modded messages.apk and I posted a stock unmodded one (actually when I say stock, that is a lie because it is the apk from my ROM and as such has gone through 3-4 apk optimization scripts) in the last 1-2 pages in the thread which seems to have fixed this

[Q] ICS ROM XBSA v5.2 : Button led blinking on booting

I have search in this forum and googling it about my problem [ not big problem actually ], but not yet found proper thread or answer.
After flashing ROM version V5.2 and try to boot from recovery, i got my button key now blinking while booting.
But after booting complete is normal.
Currently use V5.2 with baseband 18A, and it works normal in my O3D device.
Button is also working normal, except search and back button is mixed function.
Do you guys ever has similar blinking led? is it absolutelly normal,
or just i have not yet found some issues in my device...
thank you for any feedback ( if there is any link for fixing search/back button improvement, it'll be better )..
mine is blinking too while booting, think it is normal.
if you want normal buttons, you should install a kernel with 4 button support. then back and search isn't switched.
blinking = normal
4 keys fix: flash this Kernel but read the Instructions carefully!!

i guess you flashed iodaks kernel..
No it wont really harm your phone but it will drain more battery.
And its not really smart to keep the min @1,3ghz.. make it min 300mhz and max 1,3ghz iodak made his kernel so, that it raise to max freq. every time you touch the display, so theres no need to make min freq 1,3ghz.
Edit: oh and choose for governor Hotplug and for i/o sheduler sio (best combination if you ask me..)

my question is :
1. can i use it directly to flash kernel to fix 4 keys? the kernel is based on iodak's kernel.
2. i've read iodaks kernel zipped format. but it should need to install wkpark bootloader
3. i can boot into recovery mode, could i install iodak zipped kernel directly from recovery mode, without doing #2 step?
thanks..

Anybody tried Asphalt 8 on your phone?

So I installed CM10 for good today, and was pleasantly surprised to find Asphalt 8 suddenly available. Since it's downloading right now (799 MB / 1.55 GB), I got curious. Anybody tried this game? Is it slow? Quick? Fun? Boring? Anything?
PS: If you have stock, you probably can't see the game. If you have CM, you probably can. I have no idea why.

jjm34 with hsr0's kernel. FXP has huge issues on my device (home button, calls, major slowdowns, FCs), hsr0's can't hang up a call, and jjm34's doesn't have proper battery (always reports 100%). jjm34 has call fixed, and hsr0's kernel has fixed battery and (bonus!) stable overclock.

CM10 kernel won't work on stock. Something to do with the ramdisk.
Same thing for me, game was a bit laggy. I'm currently installing PurePerformaces X, which will hopefully decrease lag.

Last I checked, Asphalt 8 was an app, so Themes and Apps is a valid section as well!
I have MW on my Nexus 7, but the game is too damned big for the E, and I don't have an external SD card right now (and I don't plan to - the internal one's fine for just about everything else).

Really? The E's got the same guts as the J, but lesser resolution, so in theory it should work less. I had hsr0's kernel, OCed to 1.3 Ghz, interactive governer, zRAM 15%, purging of assets and JIT enabled. It lagged about just enough for me to consider it to be “too slow” and delete it.
I tried to install this on stock firmware on xperia e, at first it said it is incompatible with the xperia e. Then I installed Xposed Framework and All Apps Google Play Module and set the dpi to 240 for the play store. When I launched the play store after this it showed and I could install it but I got error 942 (It is to do with DPI). Therefore the xperia e cannot get Asphalt 8 due to the DPI of the phone which is 160.
Anyone Got a Fix for error 942?

Download this ROM: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2518451
Now open the zip file with 7-Zip, WinRAR, or whatever tool you use. You'll see a boot.img file. That's the kernel. Flash it with fastboot.
Here's the thing It's not the Porcessor that runs the game it's the GPU and OC to 1.3Ghz ain't a big thing. Asphalt 8 was meant for Dual core phones and our phones our cheap and entry level so don't expect performance like those big phones like Xperia Z
