Hello all,
Can someone be so kind as to upload the new optimum app for kindle fire? I just got the e-mail that it was just released and it would allow you to watch live TV on your Kindle Fire. I want to see if it will work on other Android devices.
Thank you!

Try this. Btw did not work on my Touch pad running CM9. YMMV.

thanks for getting the right link. the app installs fine on my viewsonic gtablet, however, when I try to login, I get an unsupported device error.
Can someone get the right build.prop to spoof the build fingerprint and the model name? ... maybe that fixes the issue?

you think editing our build.prop to kindle fire will make it work?
i remember doing that to make our phones think it was an htc to get the free 50gb's of dropbox a while back
i get it to open up on my xoom on cm9 but then it says unsupported device type

Not working on the Xoom... looking at the source, appears difficult to "fix"...
It only works on the Nexus 7 the first run after installation after it asks you to log in. Once you close the app you have to reinstall it in order to use it again. Otherwise you get the unsupported device error. Maybe if you log out after each use it will work?

Not log out, but if you clear the data (which then requires you to log in again).
Works on my gtablet .... however needed to go back to froyo (beastly-clemsyn) from DRH ICS. Same behaviour as observed by others -- need to clear data before each login otherwise get the unsupported device screen
Is there no build.prop fix for this?

I'm using this guide to try and root a Galaxy S3 (I535VRLHE) with the ultimate goal of installing CM10, and unfortunately hitting a wall very early on. I'm using Root Debug FS to try and root, but I'm getting the error:
"adb is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."
After that it informs me that "UID and GID should both be 0" Are They? Y/N.
Saying Yes or no here does nothing but insist that my phone is successfully rooted (it isn't). Screenshots attached.
I've searched the forums and have seen this problem, but in most instances it's because users were trying to run RootDebugFS from within a zip, or they hadn't unzipped the files properly. My files are all extracted to the same directory and adb.exe is there. Drivers were all installed correctly. USB cable is OEM. Phone is set to USB debug mode, and unknown sources are allowed.
Any ideas what I'm missing?

Yes, installed Samsung drivers without a problem. Also searched and found that guide, but still get the same error whether I'm using the originally suggested RootDebugFS, or the SuperSU RootDebugFS they suggest.
What version are you on under about phone. And I would re download all the files from the thread I sent you. Could be a bad download that you have.

There should be a total of 3 adb files, 3 debug files and 3 superuser files in the download. Are there?

Android version 4.04, baseband version I535VRLHE, build number IMM76D,I535VRALHE. All the files appear to be in there (see screenshot). Should note that I've tried this on a Windows 7 laptop AND desktop and have seen the same results, so that suggests it's a phone setting or conflict I'm missing?

You are missing a file that is called
SuperSu_GS3_Debugfs_r2a
File size for that file should be 1103KB
So I would try redownloading the pack in the tread I sent you.

Re-downloaded the file from the link you provided (image 1), extracted, and the file you cite is not there. Downloaded the other straight version of DebugFS (image 2) again and I still get the same error on two different machines.

I've tried this on three different PCs, so I assume it's something to do with the phone. Can anyone lend a hand?
I am also having the same problem. I have tried all of the suggestions in multiple guides and forums, still not happening.
Edit/Update: I was finally able to root. I did not run the debug as administrator and it worked perfect. Maybe this will help someone else.

I THINK he's saying "DONT run it as Administrator. "
I have the same version phone, I ran as administrator the first time, didnt work.

For people finding this via Google, do NOT run it as administrator like most guides suggest.

how do u run it without being an admin
im having the same problem as the OP
Run As Admin correct steps
I had the same problem and resolved it by running the RootDebugfs.bat file in an command window run as administrator.
For win7 - 1) type cmd in the find box 2) a black cmd program icon appears at the top - right click it and choose run as administrator 3) from inside the command window navigate to where you unzipped the root fs program and run it. For example, type cd c:\some directory\RootDebugfs.bat

S2 PLUS PORTED ROM FOR I9103 BY I98
Hello
Seeing that this device didn't get an official jb update from samsung,I have made an attempt of porting the s2 plus 4.2.2 rom to the galaxy r, I still haven't tested this yet as I don't own the device, but i'm pretty sure you will not get a hard brick from this.
Anyway, the rom is slimmed down and contains only the basics, if the rom is confirmed to be bootable then I will continue with this project and add some useful stock apps and probably mod it.
So please give me feedback if this is working as I have spent my valuable time on this, if it worked for you then great!if it doesn't please provide a logcat.
This rom is an experimental build, use it at your own risk
Thank you
