You can't change the hardware chips (band specific power amps) by flashing or editing software...

Ok does XT926 have multiple LTE BANDS

I need 2100 band to use 3G network.
Is it possible that after flashing the Desire HD radio, inspire 4g would have 2100 band available ? I know that Desire HD has 2100 available ...
Thank you for any response,

Nope - the hardware radio supports 850, 900, 1800, 1900. No way to change this through software.
why wouldnt you just buy a Desire HD? they are the same phone, except the inspire says AT&T on it

All the Desire HD models and the inspire support 850, 900, 1800, 1900 for gsm. But only the european desire HD supports 900,2100 for the higher speed data bands. The inspire and telus desire HD supports 850,1900 for its higher speed data. No software or ROM can change this.

What he^ said. Please search before opening a new thread as this has been covered Thousands of times over the years. If the phone is not set to handle a certain data band, nothing you can do short of swapping out the antenna will change it.

[Q] Is possible ENABLE LTE 1800 & 2600 on Photon Q

Is MSM8960 embedded LTE modem? What Frequency?
And some MSM8960 devices supported LTE 1800 & 2600.
Can we ENABLE LTE 1800 & 2600 or other on Photon Q

No, The Photon Q only supports LTE on the PCS G Block (~1950 MHz). LTE 2600 is owned by Clearwire, which hasn't yet deployed any LTE on the spectrum. LTE 1800 will not be deployed in the US, as far as I understand. GSM/UMTS capabilities will be available on those frequencies, but not LTE ones.

[Q] No 4g LTE network :(

I have bought razr hd xt925 unlocked (International version) and the stock software installed was the canadian.
I tried to flash most of the modem available on the forum but no luck till now to get 4g network :crying:
I'm using Galaxy S3 i9305 and have 4g working.
My country 4g frequency is 1800 - 2600
Any help is appreciated.
-------
Edit: I noticed that Motorola Canada website wrote : LTE Band: 700/1700/2100
and Motorola Australia wrote : NETWORKS LTE 800/1800/2600
Is that mean there is more than 1 model of xt925 ????

Yup, was about to comment but saw your edit. You should have bought the Verizon RAZR HD Maxx, the Canadian LTE version operates different lte n different frequencies

Do you mean Verizon Razr HD will work on 1800 - 2600 frequency ???
No it will not...
Verizon website says: NETWORKS: LTE B13
and I think B13 = 700MHz
There are three versions of the phone:
Droid RAZR HD - GSM, CDMA and LTE 700MHz
Canadian RAZR HD - GSM and LTE 700 / 1700 / 2100
World RAZR HD - GSM and LTE 800 / 1800 / 2600
Sounds like you need the world version for LTE to work!

I'm about to head over to the development section... Does anyone know which stock ROMs fall under the international version? I'm going to assume the European ones. I know the Rogers one is the Canadian... Verizon is the DROID one... But what about the Brazilian and Australian ROMs?

[Q] getting the 1800 LTE band 3 frequency on the at&t one x ?

hi guys just a question the an operator in my country has started testing LTE at the 1800 frequency band 3 (LTE) they also call it FD-LTE 1800 MHZ band 3 frequency
now for my question even though the at&t one x supports LTE it only supports the 3 bands which are 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100 is there a possibility to flash a radio from the htc one XL which supports this band or is there any other method to unlock/obtain this band
all input and solutions are much appreciated
thanks
Are you on 4.1.1 jelly bean?
Sent from my HTC One X using xda app-developers app
If frequency support is not included in hardware, you can't modify software to make it work.
Yeah, you need the physical antenna and radio to support the frequency.

Sprint USA uses MHz
800/1900 for 2g
1900 for 3g
2500 for 4g
Infact you will not be able to make calls if your region uses 800MHz for calls.
