Running the latest nightly of CM 11 on the D800 and only have one small issue, Google keyboard. I use emojis a lot and the emojis on the google keyboard are those weird looking ones, http://imgur.com/dLoMt5A. I want the standard emojis if possible. Any suggestions?

Since the new maps update my Sensation has been acting very strange when using google maps and navigation.
The screen is jumping all over the place, glitching graphics and invisible menus.
It seems to be happening on both the 4.1 and 4.2 roms i've tried.
I'm currently using the albinoman 4.2 AOSP ROM (cm-10.1.20130720)
Is there any fix for this?
Cheers
I have this problem as well, but i'm still using albino CM10.1 (4.2 JB).
I've think I read somewhere a developer suggesting to downgrade Google Maps version.
The new maps 7 from google has graphical glitches due to our old hacked adreno libs. Click the following link Maps-6.apk

I am currently on the latest CM10.2 from albinoman, installed 4.3 signed gapps from goo and the maps is working nicely with no glitches. I am not sure what might have fixed it but it working
Version 7 is buggy, just use Version 6:

I am currently using SlimKat on my Nexus 5 and it comes with the AOSP Browser, Keyboard, and Messaging by default. I know many people used to say AOSP Browser out performs chrome but I was wondering if this is still the case as chrome has had lots of updates since I last heard that. Also what is the difference in the Google Keyboard and AOSP Keyboard? Which should I use? The AOSP keyboard I don't think gets updates through the Play Store while the Google Keyboard does. I was also concerned about this for the AOSP browser. I don't think it will be getting any updates right?
no, aosp browser still out performs the chrome browser, plus its much better on your battery than chrome.
Hello! I tested many AOSP ROMS on both Note 1 and Note2 but I still get the same issue: Bluetooth does not work for regular apps such as CSIPSimple. This is a very old bug and I am disappointed that I cannot use AOSP roms on my Note. Replacing bluetooth.apk with a stock version renders bt unusable.
Hello fellow XDA Develpoers,
I am currently using ios 9.1 emojis on my Samsung Galaxy S4 /KitKat 4.4.2 / Echoe Rom v32. 1 S5 Port Part VII. How I got them? From the very handy app called Emoji Switcher from the Google Play Store. The setting I used in the app is called ios 9.1 v3 (testing) which works perfectly fine. I use a modded google keyboard as from this post by @Qu3ntin0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/mod-google-keyboard-updated-ios-9-1-t3232213 to display the emojis on the keyboard and to use. There are different skins you can copy and paste next to compatible emojis from Emojipedia.com On android devices running lollipop the skin and the compatible emojis combine but on KitKat they don't..... its just the plain yellow emoji next to the skin. Now what I'm wondering is if someone familiar with the android unicodes can give me a solution with this problem of the emojis not combining!!! I'm pretty sure it's a unicode problem but I'm not to sure.... Anyways any developer who could help me with this problem I would much appreciate!

Can someone send me links to aosp keyboards. Everyone I try isn't working. I'm forced to use swift or Google keyboard... Which IMHO both suck. I like aosp but can't find one that works
