Hello fellow XDA Develpoers,
I am currently using ios 9.1 emojis on my Samsung Galaxy S4 /KitKat 4.4.2 / Echoe Rom v32. 1 S5 Port Part VII. How I got them? From the very handy app called Emoji Switcher from the Google Play Store. The setting I used in the app is called ios 9.1 v3 (testing) which works perfectly fine. I use a modded google keyboard as from this post by @Qu3ntin0 http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/general/mod-google-keyboard-updated-ios-9-1-t3232213 to display the emojis on the keyboard and to use. There are different skins you can copy and paste next to compatible emojis from Emojipedia.com On android devices running lollipop the skin and the compatible emojis combine but on KitKat they don't..... its just the plain yellow emoji next to the skin. Now what I'm wondering is if someone familiar with the android unicodes can give me a solution with this problem of the emojis not combining!!! I'm pretty sure it's a unicode problem but I'm not to sure.... Anyways any developer who could help me with this problem I would much appreciate!

I just got my One A9 and I love it. However HTC took away the emoji's I've grown to love and personally think look way better than stock android emoji's. Is there any way to get the old emoji's back?
UPDATE:
After looking around I found a temporary fix if anyone else is interested. Just install this app and change your Font to it in settings and you will have "iOS" emoji's.

If only we could keep the HTC font, but change the emojis.

Yeah that's a downside of it
ORIGINAL HTC SENSE & EMOJI
If you are rooted and want sense 6.0 emoji here is a flashable zip that works perfectly
Sense_6_Emoji
I'm also unrooted and have very little desire to root my A9. I've been using this one https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.monotype.android.font.free.emoji.color.htc but I don't like the font either; I use Helvetica. I'm trying to create my own emoji font with Helvetica included but I can't find an application that will let me edit fonts with emoji.
I've emailed the devs that published those apps to see if they can give any insight.

I was just about to post to another thread about this problem. The stock Andriod emojis suck big time! I have an M8 and the emojis are the standard look similar to the Xda ones on the right of screen.
Thanks, I will give this a go!

Does that zip work on a device running CyanogenMod 11? I can't find any other way to get Sense's emojis, so if this won't work, could you, if possible, recommend a functional option?
EDIT! The zip works on CyanogenMod11

Even though this is for the s7 Edge, it most likely works on all Samsung 6.0.1 firmware. Tell me how it goes http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/themes/mod-apple-ios-emojis-samsung-galaxy-s7-t3345552
Worked perfectly, thank you
So, I have found a way to get IOS 12.1 Emojis on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 without Root (through Wings Fonts) and it works really well in almost all apps, except for Snapchat.
Before the Note 9 I had a phone with a custom ROM and Magisk and I could just download the Magisk module with the IOS 12.1 Emojis and after I did that the Emojis also worked in Snapchat.
On the Note 9 on the other hand I had to download an App that downloads a Font that looks exactly the same as the Stock Samsung font, except that the Emojis are replaced.
But in Snapchat that doesn't change the Emojis, so in Snapchat I still see the Samsung Emojis. My guess is that this is because Snapchat is still using the Stock Samsung font.
So my question is if anyone knows if the is another way to get the IOS Emojis on One UI or if you could somehow replace the Emojis in the Stock Samsung Font (through ADB maybe?). Or if there is a way to somehow force Snapchat into using another font or something like that.
I would be really grateful if someone could help me with this problem as I mainly use Emojis in Snapchat.

Same issue with me.. This is my first android experience and I think that a jailbroken iphone is more customizable than an android phone. Whether rooted or not. I hate apple and I'm going to buy their new iphone max next September anyways and get rid of this Note9. Iphone with Cydia is just everything.
Did you end up finding a way?
Dear XDA Forums members,
I downloaded some apps from google play store to switch my emojies to IOS but I have some problems with them (emoji shortcut on samsung keyobard keeps disappearing) and want to switch back to Touchwiz 7 emojies. Other keyboards seem fine with IOS emojies (gboard). I did not back up my old ones. Do you know any way that I can still use Samsung Keyboard and revert back to the default emojies that are on the SM-T825 (Galaxy Tab S3).
If that is impossible, does anyone know where the emojies are stored in android?
For any extra details please ask me in the comments.
Thanks in advance
Marios A.
Hi everyone,
I'm new to Samsung (had an Ace back in time lol) and I wondered how to replace the emojis without root.
I saw that I could use zfont to change them but some say it adds ads in the lancher and everywhere and it makes the phone unstable.
Do you have tips on how to change emojis or do some of you use zfont ?

Try the Galaxy Store. Search it.
I don't use them but Samsung allows for a lot of stock customization...

I searched in it and didn't find something to change the stock emojis unfortunately...
The only ways I found is rooting (a big no for me) or using the zfont app
