Has anyone else been experiencing very low speaker volumes after the latest update? My speakers used to be great but they sound extremely muffled now. This happened right after I did the latest ota update.
Update: apparently a simple reboot fixed the issue.

When I make a call, the other party is hearing me too low. Is there a way to boost the mic?
It's really annoying.
I tried to change the noise-cancelation setting in the Sound menu to single microphone- no improvement.
I am on latest Official Stable Release (not the development releases).

I tried latest MIUI / CM12.1, can anyone else confirm it? Is this a software issue? Any fixes possible? It's extremely annoying..
To test it it's best to put very low volume using headphones and whenever sound is playing there is this hiss / noise.. when sound/music stop the noise also stops after 2-3 seconds or so.. And it happens only with headphones, no problem with speakers..
I tried 3 different headphones, some have higher and some lower noise but i can notice on all..

Little issue on my GEM 702 L on B202 release, no root no unlocked, updated manually through standard updater. I have been working trying to solve the problem but no solution up to now: microphone during a phone call or any WhatsApp or Skype call is not working, only if I use loud speaker. Call is perfect if I don't use loud speaker, I can listen and people can hear me on the other side. But when I use loud speaker I can perfectly listen, but people on the other side hardly hear me when I speak. Problem disappears if I use normal speaker. Don't understand what mic has to see with loud speaker, it seems like an interference between loud speaker and mic using loud speaker. I don't undesrstand if it is a hardware issue (and which one because loud speaker is Ok, mic is not working only with loud speaker on, standard call or camera video mic is workink OK). Anyone facing the same issue? Any idea? Can someone on B202 make a test for me so to avoid it is a B202 release bug? Thanks

I'm having a weird sound issue with my Nexus 5. I am running everything stock and updated via OTA to the latest version.
It all started last month when in-call sound stopped working. It works fine if i switch to loudspeaker but normal speaker is not working.
Then for all other sounds, music playing, youtube, etc. the loudspeaker doesn't work. The volume setting is doing some strange things like resetting itself to about half.
Then if i plug some headphones in, i get sound through them, and when i take them out, the loudspeaker suddenly starts working again, but not for long.
I'm quite confused about all of this. I know the July update had some bugs messing with the sound, but i am now updated to the september release and i still have these problems.
Any thoughts?

I update to 47.2.A.10.107 and the ear speaker volume is to low. When I am in the street almost can not listening the call. I tried to downgrade but the problem is the same, also I changed the speaker without lucky.
I need help.
