T-Mobile HTC One S doesn't boot or enter recovery - HTC One S

My HTC One S Ville T-Mobile running hboot 2.15 and mainver 3.14.531.17 won't boot or enter recovery (after flashing custom recoveries, i don't know if it ever went into stock recovery i never tried) It gets caught in an on and off white htc quietly brilliant screen loop and I have to power it down using fastboot power down menu option or it'll just keep trying to boot to system I'm thinking I need to flash boot.img Does anyone have a stock kernel for this version that i can extract boot.img from The phone got to this mainver 3.14.531.17 after running the RUU that I dl'd from htc's site so I'm not looking for an RUU I'm looking for a kernel.zip file or a stock rom zip file for my version that would have boot.img thanks

1. Enter in fastboot(power+volume down)
2. Install another Recovery through fastboot (fastboot flash recovery name.img)

T-Mobile HTC One S won't enter recovery
Doesn't help Flashed many different versions of twrp and a couple of versions of cwm the phone won't boot to system or enter recovery

Try to flash your custom recovery (Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img ) From fastboot of curse and then "fastboot oem lock" on CMD of curse.
and then try to flash your RUU again.
(I'ts will delete your Root and will back you to Stock ROM).

[Q] Changing cid in RUU then resigning

Hi, after flashing an incorrect version of gapps onto a CM10.1 nightly rom I have worked myself into a very tight corner.
The phone is s-on, wont boot into android and also I am unable to enter any kind of recovery. I have tried fastboot flash recovery and fastboot boot recovery with CWM and TWRP and flashing a stock recovery extracted from an RUU. All I get when trying to enter recovery is a reboot then HTC white screen then boot loop. I am under the impression all I can possibly do at this stage is to flash a stock RUU yet I can only find one RUU that matches my ORANG_001 cid and that gives me the error of "44 hboot version check fail". So I then tried to flash a more recent RUU but they all have different cid numbers. If I attempt to modify the android-info.txt to add my cid I corrupt the zip and get a sign verification failure. I've attempted to make a new zip and then resign it with AutoSign.zip but again I get a "12 signature verify fail."
If anyone could shine any light on altering cid inside RUU or possibly a way of me getting back into recovery it would be greatly appreciated.

To run the latest cm hou have to have a hboot of 2.15. What's your current version?
Did you btw flash the boot.img seperatly?
If s-on you have to.
Flash a RUU (cant flash a RUU with a lower hboot than that you already have)
Than do otas till your on jb. Then go back to custom roms.

Thanks for the replies, is it possible to s-off when I can only access bootloader though? My hboot is 2.15.0000 and yes I had flashed the boot.img separately, the rom worked perfectly until I flashed the wrong gapps. I would love to flash an RUU but I can only find one that is compatible with my cid and it won't install.

^-- this often / sometimes / maybe fixes the situation where recovery fails to boot.

hboot 1.14.002
s is off
cant remember recovery version since I can't access it
I had viper rom and I was going to cyanogen mod 10.1
and I thought I had a titanium backup but my whole sd card go deleted, so I mounted my sd card and got the rom again and flashed it and at that point I couldn't go back to recovery
Did you read the OP for cm10.1? It states in the requirements that you must RUU up to the latest (3.18) to run that ROM. In terms of your recovery, just flash it again from fastboot.

I must of completely overseen that. and sir the only option I have on my boot is fast boot, recovery, factory reset, clear storage, simlock, image crc, and power down. I don't know how to even flash things at this point.
and only options I fast boot are bootloader, reboot, reboot boot loader and powerdown
That's all you need to RUU, it's an exe file that you just run while your phone is connected in fastboot mode. You'll need top flash your recovery again, then you can flash a ROM.
Download the RUU
Run the RUU
Download recovery
Flash recovery
Flash ROM
The fastboot command to flash the recovery is:
fastboot flash recovery "recovery.img"
(The exact recovery filename, without the talking marks)
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Now you can enter recovery on your phone, mount usb storage, copy ROM to phone, flash ROM.

i flashed boot.img of new svhd rom 2.0.0 and i flash it through HTC Desire S All In One Kit . please help
Try flashing it manual without using the toolkit.
First you would need an adb and fastboot setup.
Open the rom (.zip file) you downloaded and put the ''boot.img'' file in ''C:\android-tools''.
Make a nandroid backup
Full wipe(except sd)
Flash rom
Select reboot into fastboot
Flash the boot.img manual by :
- Go to start->run-> type cmd and press enter. A command prompt will now appear.
cd c:\android-tools [press enter]
fastboot flash boot boot.img [press enter]
Click to collapse
Do make sure you're in fastboot and not the other.
After it's successfully installed, turn of your phone and just boot normally. It may take a while for your phone to boot up.

You are s-on. So flashing won't update boot.img
connect via fastboot and flash boot.img (extract from insertcoin zip) manually typing: "fastboot flash boot boot.img"
Roger that
