TWRP spilt screen - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I flashed the newest version of TWRP and now I have a split screen with 2 menus and I cannot do anything in recovery now. I've been trying to find a solution but I can't find anything, has anyone else had this issue and fixed it?

Yes, that is the issue ..
You need to be on a bootloader ending in 27.1 or 27.5
To use the newest version of twrp ....
If you need any help with upgrade

Yeah definitely, if its not too much to ask. Right now I have no SD card because of not removing it safely so it destroyed it going back and forth between my phone and tablet, but once I get another one I definitely wanna get the recovery fixed in my tablet.

Its best if you state your issue in your device's section for further/better assistance.
I dont know if this has been fixed yet, but did you setup nvflash prior to your bricking?
If so then you should be able to use your backup files to recover easily?

Need help recovering un-rooted, un-modded TF300T

My mother has a TF300T that, according to her, just stopped booting. It gets to the ASUS screen, and the little circle of dots just flashes forever. I've managed to get fastboot working, and tried flashing a couple of the firmwares they have on the official site, but no luck.
Is there anything I can do to recover this tablet if it was never rooted or equipped with a recovery system before? I'd like to do so while saving the files that were on it, but if that's impossible, I'll deal with it. Thanks!

Sort of new to this. How would I find out?
Actually, I'm just gonna wager it isn't unlocked since I didn't do anything to this tablet. It's completely stock. It just stopped booting one day.

Can you check and make sure its not 10.6.1.8-20130225
That is a real old bootloader , Can you also get the SKU of the tab ...
It will be the 2 letters in front of the bootloader version ......
e.g. US_epad-10.6.1.6-20130225
In red is the SKU, I am doing a test on mine as its unbrickable, I will let you know what I find..... :good:
Thx Josh
Sorry, yup, it's 10.6.1.8-20130225, the 8 just really looks like a 6. The SKU is WW.

Ok, you should be able to use the 'WIPE DATA' on the bootloader screen .....
Use 'vol down & power' to get into the bootloader , then 'vol down' to 'wipe data' 'vol up' on it ....
It will ask if you are sure you want to wipe ......
'vol up' to agree, let it do it thing and it will boot into android .....
This is going to wipe all the data from the device, but not much can be done about that.....
Thx Josh
Worked like a charm! Thanks!

I installed a Franco Kernel so my device would charge faster. After I installed it, my device wouldn't boot. The device didn't react well to another rom's or kernels.
So it was an desperate attempt really , I wasn't aware of the consequences.
A guy on the live chat from Oneplus told me their tech support could take over my PC and they could install another rom. But the first open spot is like 3 days away.
Thanks in advance.
@Bjornc .. Untill you provide all information noone will help you ..
1. What was the state of your device when you did the flash ?
a. On which ROM it was.
b. Which recovery were you using ?
C. Have you took any backup of ROM ?
What is the state of phone now ?
Is it booting.?
Is it showing any boot screen?
Is it booting into recovery ?
Is it booting into fastboot ?
There are lot of things which can recover phone .. Provides you give enough information here ..

Question Hard brick

Hello good to all,
It turns out that I have the device with a hard brick and I can't find a solution to repair it, I've been looking for a similar thread, but nothing. It won't let me in, it's not fastboot, not in recovery or anything, and if I turn it on normally I get: The current image have been destroyed...
How I got to this situation, was after rooting the device with a tutorial here, which worked perfectly for me. It was later when I had the great idea of closing the bootloader with the rooted device, and since then it gives me this error.

1)Just go to service center , if phone is in warranty , they will just flash the device with STOCK ROM using msm tool (best )
2)however they might even replace motherboard for no reason but that will also fix the device (time taking)
3) last option is to use paid msm flashing services costs from 5to 10$ USD , you can find them by Google search (risky)
I had about the same problems, my GT Neo 2 does not load fastboot further. The cyclical startup process is repeated.
Stupidly, I understand now, I decided to wipe data in TWRP recovery
This is what it looks like - youtube
I tried to install custom recovery from this topic, all stages passed without problems, but at the end after rebooting fastboot loops
Have you solved this problem, if so, in what way?
udp
installing this method
but root I couldn't get here
I tried to unlock twrp using the magic installation, but the problem described above appeared
I think I have the same problem as others. Realme appears and restarts continuously. It does not go into fastboot because the boot loader is blocked. What can I do?
