Hi
my samsung galaxy note n8000 not booting. its always restarting( boot loop). I tried every option but cannot do. any one here know how to fix this problem. One of my friend said find bootloader bin file and rom and install. but I could't found that bin file. please tell me. how to do. always its come to samsung galaxy note n8000 and stuck. or come to samsung animation and just rebooting.
Did you tried to flash stock rom?
Most of stock roms are including sboot.bin file.

Search and download the PIT file for your device.
With stock firmware, add the PIT file in the list, and flash together with Odin.
I'm not sure, but it is a way which can revive your device.
Witch Recovery do you use? Stock or do you have a Clockworkmod recovery or similar?
What was the last action you did with your Tablet?

I flashed my tab P6200 to ICS P6200XXLQ1, after that i did a full wipe :crying: then my tab cant load into OS...

anyway to recover this?

really sorry mate - but i think you've hard bricked the thing..

this could be your issue..
omg...i thought it is soft bricked as i still able to access into download mode ~>.<~
Verifies that the firmware package that you downloaded is not corrupt, then enters in download mode, flash with ODIN ,if it remains in bootloop enters into recovery and performs wipe date , factory reset, should start ....

The same to me, maybe superbrick.
Try to download pit file for P6200 and reflash firmware, pit file via Odin.
If not work, send it to SS service for warranty or repartition use pit file, look for at Gnotes, Tab 7.7 box.

Probably the files on : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1681047 are not ok for p6200....... the files in that guide are for p6210 wifi only ( without 3g module like p6200... ). Or not?!?!?!

I would expect that if you would find the files for the 6200 version that it would do the same thing. It's already borked. Is it under warranty

Hello All,
My N8020 is now semi brick after trying to flash it back to stock. It was on custom rom before but showing different errors so i decided to change the rom...First i tried to install another custom rom which was cynogenmod 10 but after intstalling this rom from cwm phone stuck at cynogenmod startup logo i waited for long time but still nothing. Then tried different versions of cynogen roms but same...After all this i decided to install a official rom so i flashed this with
N8020XXBMA3_N8020XSABMA2_N8020XXBMA1_HOME.tar
but now the real problem started..Now i can boot phone in download mode but not in recovery mode at all...Then i tried to flash a cwm via odin and get "PASS" messege in odin but still no recovery mode...Tried to flash to flash clockwork recovery several time but nothing changed and then i check in download mode the custom flash counter increase every time i try to flash cwm...then i searched the stock recovery for 8020 but when i try to flash it via odin i always get "FAIL"...
Now i m out of ideas and searching for a real solution....SO can anybody please tell me what to do next to get it back to life???
Regards,
Muneeb

Thanks for reply but can u please tell me from where i get n8020 twrp?i only able to find N8000 to N8013 but cant find for N8020....
You are correct, I can't find for n8020 either.
http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/p4noterf
Try to flash cwm again. Don't check auto reboot in odin. When finished flashing cwm, press power+volume up, when samsung or whatever appears on screen release power but keep presing volume up until cwm loads.
Let me know if you have any luck.

I would start all over from scratch to ensure the files you used were for your device.
THIS IS THE AUTO ROOT PACKAGE FOR AN N8020. UNZIP THE FILE & FLASH VIA ODIN
THIS IS CWM RECOVERY FOR N8020. FLASH VIA ODIN
THIS IS TWRP RECOVERY FOR N8000 WHICH IS WHAT YOU WOULD USE. FLASH VIA ODIN
Its possible at this point you might need to run a pit file. Nand erase as well. Read into them before EVER attempting.

I have tried these two already "CF-Auto_root" and "N8020-CWM-6.0.2.8-Darkman.tar.md5" but still same..But now my question is will N8000 twrp recovery work on N8020?
Pit yes it can be the solution but its bit risky isn't it?

Yes N8000 is the twrp recovery for N8020. Yes pit is risky but if you read into how to do it and follow it you will be just fine. Sometimes a device may require running NAND Erase also (meaning checking the box in odin). The biggest problem with pit file is people not knowing and just running it as if they were getting a custom ROM.

Can u plz tell me a bit about pit flashing how to do that????One more thing i only able to find one pit file all over the google which is created by a user so can i use that pit file..
Thanks for ur time!
I didn't find a working pit for my n 8010. Don't worry too much about the binary counter, mine was 118 today, I reset it with triangle away. I don't have the balls to do a nand erase on mine, I'm not even sure that is required for my problem, at least mine is working.

Yes, dont check auto boot though leave that unchecked and if it passes reboot to recovery and do a data wipe then reboot. If you run into error add your pit file to the pit window along with your stock tar.md5 file and run it just as I mentioned before with repartition selected
Make sure the pit file you use is for your device model/storage size

Hi there,
I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 WIFI (GT-N8010). I had it rooted, custom ROM on it.....frequently forced closes so i decided to cleensweep the thing. Went into TWRP....did factory reset (wipe cache, Dalvik and System) and then formatted DATA.
So no OS anymore.
Then when i wanted to flash the custom ROM (from external SD like i always do) again.....it got stuck.......couldnt flash it it said. Okay.....so.....now what i thought. I tried the procedure of flashing with the galaxy Toolkit. Doesnt work because it waits for "debug enable"....but there is no OS.....so cant do that.
Then i made the biggest mistake i guess.
I flashed new firmware through ODIN.....but accidently for the GT-N8000. Strange that the procedure went well.
Then it came: the device got stuck on the Samsung logo.....no bootloop....just the logo. When i restarted the tablet it went strait to download mode (power and vol - normally) I dont even get the choice of cancelling or continue to download mode. The screen looks like this:
ODIN MODE
product name: gt-n8000
current binary: samsung official
system status: custom
(and then in gray) RP SWREV: A2
And NO custom binary download: no
When i go into recovery mode (power and vol+) it goes strait to the android with "downloading, do not turn off device"
WHAT HAPPENED ????
And does somebody know what to do PRETTY PLEASE
Hope you guys know what to do....or is it bricked ????
PS. It's still seen by Odin !
Greetz from the netherlands

Could I please have a secure PIT file for the GT-N8010 16GB bought in France? I've bricked my Note 10.1 after updating to the official Kitkat (N8010XXUDNE4_N8010OXXDNF1_HOME.tar.md5). I did a wipe data and cache and all seemed to be working fine for 2 days... but the tablet got stuck on a game and after a force close has been stuck in a bootloop with no access to recovery mode. I do manage to get into download mode and have tried to flash a number of times with different roms (going back seems to be impossible with KitKat) but to no avail as I keep getting an issue about 'no PIT partition'. I took it to a shop (as my warranty ran out a month ago - lucky me!) and they were also unable to flash the tablet so the issue does not seem to be the cable or the drivers (as Odin recognizes the tablet). I tried flashing with a PIT file (ticking re-partition with and without the kitkat rom) that I got on some website but I'm not certain it is the right one for my GT-N8010 and it also fails. Before I try a Nand erase I want to make sure that I have the right PIT file. By the way does the PIT file you have work with KitKat as the one I found seems to be for an outdated version of Android and as Kitkat doesn't enable one to go back to an older version of Android I'm in a catch 22 with only the Nand erase option left?
FYI, I tried flashing a recovery like TWP to try flashing custom roms but it also doesn't work.
Any other ideas? Should I tick Nand Erase and Phone EFS Clear. As the issue seems to be the kitkat bootloader is it possible to flash a bootloader? Can't find any trace of anything other than the tar files for GT-N8010 in Jelly Bean or KitKat. Anybody have a bootloader, PDA, CSC and Phone file for the GT-N8010? Can one attempt the following on a GT-N8010: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2610757&page=2 ?
Thanks for any help as I've been without my tablet for weeks now!!:crying:

Lucky me! Flashing the wrong bootloader probably didn't work. I was able to flash a stock KitKat rom yesterday and my device still seems to have a working pit file.
Details: German Note 10.1 GT N8010 updated to KitKat, but the pit file seems to be older. Any other info needed?
This is how I got the pit file.
Code:
sudo heimdall download-pit --output Samsung-Note-10.1-PIT.txt
I had trouble opening the result in a text editor, so I'm not sure, I got it right. You'll probably have to rename it... Let's see, if I'm allowed to upload.

Thanks... Any idea what the name of the original PIT file is?
(I believe it should have the .pit extension. I hope I can rename this file accordingly?)
Sorry, no.
Heimdall doesn't seem to care how the file is named. I'd hazard a guess, that it's similar for most Samsung devices.
help please. .

Everything was fine. tried the minuit (or however you spell it) mod. Ended up in a boot loop. i can get into download mode fine. Downloaded the stock firmware to odin back and start over, but when i try, it checks the MD5 just fine. starts the "setupconnection" then i get a fail "can't open the serial(COM) port.
Am i doing something wrong here? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
What firmware version were you on before bootloop and what version are you trying to ODIN?

There is no pit partition. The pit file is a file that describes the partitions on your phone for Odin. It's stored inside your Bootloader but you don't have to worry about that.
If your flashing from Odin it will use your current pit for flashing. If you are installing a new stock rom a pit file comes with it inside the CSC .tar.md5
