I just bought the tablet and am loving it so far. Looking at the face of it and the sides, the only light I found is the orange/green one that is on while charging. Does this light also function as a notification LED?

Short answer: No.
It has a charging light near the USB connector - Yellow = Charging, Green = Charged.
The included AC adapter has no light.
A charging light that works properly (as this tablet has) is a very nice feature, but a notification light is definitely something I miss. IMHO, a proper tablet should have both.
Yes, the charging light is nice. Not sure I miss the notification led since it's a tablet so that would be redundant with my phone.

I would like to increase the brightness of the LED button backlights. I noticed that there appears to be some sort of material between the LED and the plastic outer case. It looks like a yellow/beige material with miniature holes when the buttons are lit up.
I wonder if upon opening the case if this material could be cleaned/removed so that the LED would appear brighter.
Has anyone opened their Captivate and looked to see if there is some sort of removable material or paint between the LED and the case? I wanted to see if anyone else had explored this possibility before I attempt to open up my Captivate.
Although this tear-down thread is quite helpful, it doesn't show the portion of the phone where the buttons are located:

There does seem to be something blocking them, tear yours apart and find out!
Replacement screens can be found on ebay for $60-90.

^^ Xperia M LED
Hi there.
Yes, it does have breathing LED light underneath the display like Xperia J,L...
It also has real notification LED above the screen, near the proximity sensor.
this notification led (the one below the display) is the most useless function i seen in a phone. it's ugly as hell too

That is not the notification led. It's just a light when you switch movies, music and photos on the xperia apps. But it's useless yes, they could have done something more with it.
The notification led is like most other phones, a tiny point near the speaker.
A mood light as they call it. Marketing burb. Should be modded as a real notification light.
Hello,
I've been using an OPO for about a week now, and I really love that phone, everything is great besides the one "slight" problem.
I have a problem with my capacitive lights not turning off ever. (Not even when the phone is off!) I'll post a picture (a bad one) but I hope you can see what I mean:

I don't know why is so hard to take a picture to show that the buttons are glowing .
The best way to describe it would be, that it looks like, like some of the shoelaces that are glowing in the dark (or something that looks like it's radioactive and glows )
But yea, they are glowing much more than you can see on that picture and no matter if the phone is on or off. I just cant get it black!
I am using onscreen buttons but I've tried to use capacitive buttons and turn brightness and illumination off. (It doesn't work).
But I can however turn it up. It's not a major problem, but It gets really annoying especially at night.
If someone has any suggestions what to do, I'll be gladly to try it.
Thanks.
As title says, does anyone know for definite whether the Z5 has a notification LED, I sent my Moto x Style back because it didn't have a dedicated one. Ta.

Can someone take a picture of it in action or maybe describe how big it is? Like the fact that I can just glance on the phone and immediately see if I have any notifications.
Can anyone confirm if it is RGB and with light flow can be changed?
It is RGB and works with lightflow.
The led itself is pretty small and is located in the top left of the front face of the phone on the z5

I use lightflow for the led, and have set it disabled in the app from 22:00 till 7:00. But if I received a message, the led will light 1 time. On my Z1 the led will stay of if I received a message between 22:00 and 7:00.

Hi everyone!
Last week I bought a Wanbo x1 projector. It was working very well until yesterday when I turned it on. It has power but it is not turning on. Usually when I plug it. blue light will show up and then when you press the power button green indicator will show. In this case when I plugged it in green light indicator shows up already and the projector is not projecting. Can someone help me regarding this? Refer to attach photo.
Thank you very much!

Take it to authorized service center and let them try to fix it.
