Running the latest twrp but cm11 m8 won't install in recovery, keeps failing. I did have it installed a few weeks ago strangely enough, wiped everything over and over but no luck so far. Gone back to stock for now.
Is there an error? Did you check the logs? Are you on the latest boatloader?

Hello,
A friend of mine asked me to root his phone. He has an HTC One S (S4). I unlocked the bootloader using HTC Dev, flashed TWRP recovery and installed CM10.
I installed CM10 by flashing it in the recovery and then I flashed the boot.img using fastboot. After that I also flashed Gapps.
Btw the phone has hboot 1.06.
The first day everything went fine but then his phone suddenly started vibrating and went back to the homescreen for no reason. When he tried to open another app it just went to the homescreen, started vibrating again and it opened the app switcher. After a reboot it worked well for about a minute but then it crashed again.
Anybody got any idea what the problem might be?
Thanks in advance,
Maxim
What CM10 ROM did you flash exactly? Something may have been screwed up in that one build.

I used the stable version, 10.0.0. So I don't think that that is the problem.
AW: [Q] problems with CM10
Maybe redownloading the Rom and do a clean flash again.
After installing clean dalvik cache again.

Maybe you can try the new nightly version. The stable version still have some bugs.

Hello,
I received my XT925 (UK version) yesterday, unlocked the bootloader, rooted, and installed TWRP v2.2.2.1. I am trying to flash Liquid Smooth v2.9 onto the phone however it has been stuck on "Verifying filesystems" for over 20 minutes, is this normal? I did a factory reset but didnt format system as i understood the rom formats it anyway. Should I still wait for it to finish verifying or is there something else i should do?
Many thanks in advance.

Not sure if this would help but I would update my recovery I flashed with Twrp 2.6.0.0 without issue

Thanks for your reply. I managed to fix the problem but ended up installing Xenon HD which seems to be working great for now. I'll update TWRP anyway. Thanks again.
Anyone else having trouble doing the ota update? Mine keeps rebooting into twrp
I'm on regular 4.4 with no add ons. Just rooted

You need stock recovery
yeah did a bit of reading and learned a bit more last night.
I tried downloading the OTA zip and installing from TWRP but it failed there to. Do you need a stock recovery to install the zip manually as well?
Im using twrp 2.8.0.1, the same one I did the L beta with last time.
Im reading some BAD stuff about L right now so maybe Im better off waiting anyway.
Sometime today I went to the play store to add a new app. When I tried I kept getting an error of 927. I tried to do wipes and everything. I I went ahead and just flashed my ROM again. No luck I couldn't download anything from the app store. Tried a few different Roms and also back to stock with no luck. Finally just had to go back to kk to get everything working. Anyone else have this problem?

Erase everything in fastboot. Then fastboot flash each image for lollipop individually.

I am having the exact same problem, except my phone wasn't rooted prior. All stock.

Stock isn't gpe for vzw. If you are 100% stock look for my s-on ruu thread in general. It is a no wipe solution for you.
