Optimus 3D vs Nintendo 3DS shootout

An unexpected type of shootout between completely different products, but fun to read anyways. Not prefect since it is done on paper specs and not actual hardware:

Bad review , author has no idea what he is talking about , this phone does not have 4 gigs of RAM. It has 8 gigs of internal storage SSD and 512 MB of RAM.

It also plays host to a whopping 4GB of RAM which should be plenty for coping with all of the phone's basic functions as well as the 3D visuals

Does this device really have the SGX540? The same GPU as the Galaxy S?
If it does, wouldn't that mean that there really won't be much improvement over the Galaxy S for single-threaded applications(seeing as, besides the 3D-ness and extra core, the specs are quite similar)? Are most Android apps/games/emulators/N64oid single-threaded?

The omap 4 is paired with an overclocked version of the sgx. If you check a thread on smartphonebenchmarks.com it will show the comparisons for the 2 different phones. As of now the overclocked version doesn't make a big difference until newer games are released that require more power. It gives the phone more life in terms of hardware . I would link but my g1 doesn't have the ram to save the state my apps are in. The g1 requires a full restart of apps which is inconvenient.

Best platform for Mobile Games?

What is the best platform for mobile games amongst Android phones. Do I just want more memory - or are there phones that are specifically set up to run mobile games faster?

you should choose a phone with a good processor for example 1,5 GHz, 1GB RAM,
and dual core phones are more powerful to 3d games !

arm cortex a9 dual core cpu 1.5
mali 400-mp (dual core)
jelly bean
the diference is between their screen size
the 1st is 7 inch 1024x600
the 2nd is 8 inch 1024x768
my quiestion is which tablet/resolution will support more games ; or will any ?

I want to pick a phone and choices are strictly these two.

Which of these phones can play them smoothly?
If there will be difference in gaming preformance,how much will it be?
If anybody could upload video playing some of these games on titanium s2 on youtube it will be greatly appreciated.

[Completed] [Q] Best Gaming Tablet?

OK so Pretty soon Im going to be moving to Russia and I would really like to get my new tablet before moving there. It's also going to be an 8 hour flight so yeah I need something that can really keep me entertained with 0 lag etc etc.
And yes, I know you'll be thinking. ''but this guy has all the specs what does he need help with decision making for?'' To answer that, I don't really know what it is that makes a tablet considered to be GREAT! I know the processor, and the ghz and the ram and a few other things have something to do with it but i don't know how they weigh against each other in importance. Rank your answer please
