[MOD] GALAXY S5 SecWallpaperChooser i9500 i9505 i9506 Odexed & Deodexed roms

Hi S4 owners.
So, we've finally got full S5 wallpapers dump ..and they're awesome!
I moded the SecWallpaperChooser.apk to flash them directly and replace the current default wallpapers.
This mod works with both 4.3 and 4.4.2 Stock based Roms.
it should work with all S4 variants , test and leave a feedback.

How to Flash?
Put the .zip in internal or External SD card
Reboot to recovery (CWM, Philz, TWRP) (Custom recoveries only! )
Flash the zip
Reboot and enjoy your new S5 wallpapers.

Strange..Tested on 4.3 and 4.4.2 GOLDEN EYE rom and it works perfectly.

im running 4.4.2 on a i9500 odexed stock rooted rom.. doesnt work the wallapapers stays the same. no changes at all
tried to extract the wallpaperchooser.apk and place it in to the system/app folder but there is no apk. only a folder.. maybe this is the reason there is no theming at all

Of course...it's not an apk but a VrTheme..it's done that way to change the wallpapers only.
Just retried again on my phone after restoring the dafault apk and it is working!

There's no full apk because I made it as a universal Vrtheme package to make it compatible with all roms.

Tried again and doesn't work ?.

Can you please upload your moded apk with the new wallpapers ? I just flashed again copied my wallpaper chooser into system/priv and didn't work either

Upload your SecWallpaperChooser.apk and let me check.
I have tested it myself, and someone just before your message confirmed that it's working on 4.4.2 too!
According to your signature, you're using a Note3 not S4.

That's why it's not working !! if you have a build.prop backup, restore it and it will work.
It's not advised to change Build.prop, you get some things (probably S5 quicksettings) and you loose other things.
You can get the original SecWallpaperChooser from your Rom.
Edit: Just checked your apk and as expected, the files are named differently and the folder is also different
So..it won't work for you, you can flash it 1000 times and you'll get the same result
Download the wallpapers separately and set them from the gallery, that's easier for you.

Cannot get the original because it's a odin md5 oficial file .. and its unpackeable because the Apks are in the system.img .. can you share yours? I beleave build prop won't do anything here because I tried with the original build prop too

Framework folder. use a root explorer then System>Framework , I dont know if this file will work without doing something..

Will this damage my current position tw?

Upload Framwork-res.apk and and SystemUI.apk....(Nevermind: Got them elsewhere)
Twframework is not a big deal as it doesn't contain anything special.
Warning to the blind flashers /!\...These files are related to Framework and can brick your device!

Screenshot? This is framework not app. I install and not visible changelog.

Mm. I paste al the files in the framework folder and now my message, phone, and clock are not usable anymore. (FC) I restore the original files but still the same. Any solution without flashing a rom again? Thanks

They can not brick the device, in worse case you would have to restore a back up or flash the rom again.. no chance to brick.

[PATCHROM] MIUI V5 Kitkat for xt1032 builded from MIUI Source

Hi, i was working in a Patchrom for xt1032(Before, i did patchroms for G300, Y300 and u8650), to bring to the device a fully functional and bootable miui rom, this build is compiled from source and should be completely functional.
The rom has not been tested yet because i need some betatesters, i'm uploading it and i will share the link when it's ready.

Made this for myself but thought I'd share it if anybody wants it.
Based on latest 14.6.A.0.368 (5.1.1) deodexed.
Download:

No removal script so take a backup before flashing and wipe cache/dalvik cache after.

It's mentioned that it's for deodexed ROMs. Maybe try after flashing a deodex patch or a deodexed ROM?

Is a deodexed custom rom, only problem is this screen is not activated immediately, it takes 3 seconds

I am using xposed module of this feature, and as you said it is not working immediately. When a notification arrives, screen appeares a few second later. So are you going to flash a patch for odex or not?
Any screenshot yet?

This is the stock samsung kernel source, but changed the SELinux policy from enforcing to permissive. In the settings app, it still shows as "Permissive". Removed the restrictions from kernel source regarding rooting etc.

Instructions
-Install Twrp (Info - Download Latest) Using Odin. Select not to reboot and remove your battery when finished. Insert battery holding VolumeUP+home+Power. This will get you into TWRP
-Reboot to Recover
-Flash kernel throught TWRP
-Clear Darvik/Cache throught TWRP
-Install SU beta 2.71
-Reboot and wait some minutes... If phone does not start in 20 minutes then restart and wait again.
-boot system and remove with titanium backup anything that has to do with Knox and security log....

Sorry but I do not understand exactly what you want to do... Are you already to 6.0.1 or 5.1.1 .... This kernel only works with 6.0.1 and must be flashed from TWRP.... Also you will need to root it afterwards using the link in first page..

If so then the main idea is that you will have to flash my kernel and then su chainfire 2.71 from recovery..
