how does this app work? apparently it doesnt require root so it cant modify any system files. Im thinking battery usage here. if itll be running 24/7 in background.
I already use this from s3..and not got any problem..and battery usage also like normal only..yes..doesnt need root..just click apps and done..

Made this today while being sick in bed.... Use root explorer and rename SamsungIME.apk to SamsungIME.apk.bak, and copy new one and fix permissions to rw-r-r
New version updated 10/29/2013

Gave you some thanks! sorry about that. Quick question or request... Any way you can remove the "gloss" from the buttons? Have the whole button like the bottom right of the buttons? Am i making sense? haha thanks
I would love to use this but I am having an issue somewhere. I've tried downloading on my Mac, Safari, Chrome and on device. Renamed it exactly to SamsungIME.apk placed in system/app and set permissions rw/r/r and on reboot the Samsung keyboard is just gone completely. Any advice? Something simple I'm missing I'm sure.
Same issue I am having

Yes. I've done that to get it back. Its not a problem. I was just curious why I can't get your nice themed one to work.
That is srrange. I dont even have to have the file name exact, and it still shows up. I can name it Samsung.IMEMod.apk, and still use it????

This was on my list to try. Phone spec's say it's got it. Did it work on stock ROM ?

the newest stock ROM is android 4.1.2,and the ble feature only support by android 4.3+,so the stock ROM can't use this feature
Sounds like we wait for a rom.

Well after updating to KK I can no longer receive MMS's and it's starting to really piss me off. I tried the methods listed here ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476 ) but none of them worked for me. Are there any other options?

Yeah I tried multiple messaging apps, I'm pretty sure it's something that T-Mobile or LG did to **** it up

Isn't there an issue with google play services at the moment? Not sure if it's related. Would probably get better responses with a proper thread title!

try deleting cache of google play services.
also, if you are using freedom, disable it
