Hello everybody I'd like to know if the nexus 7 2013 charger is compatible with moto G. I'm asking this question because the guidelines of motorola for the charger are: 5.0V and 500mA-1500mA. The nexus charger I own (PSM06E-050Q) has this output: 5.2V, 1350mA. Would it damage the battery? Thanks in advance for the reply
I think it wont damage if u dont overcharge ur phone... N it will charge ur phone faster..

I've been using it and have not noticed any problems with it. I usually charge with the Nexus 7 (2013) charger when I'm in a hurry and use the Moto charger for overnight charging.
I use a charger from Nexus 7 2012 and everything is fine. No problems.

Hi,
I have a 2A charger with my tablet, is it OK to use it with the Moto G 4G or can it damage the battery?
Thanks
I think it would be fine. I should think it would have something to funnel the amount of juice the phone is taking to charge
Don't take my word for this but I'm 70% sure when I read something on the motorola website on how to charge the moto g they recommended a 1.5-2 A USB Wall Socket
Sent from my Moto G using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
It's totally fine, I use one myself. The Moto G will take what it needs to charge, that's all. The only danger would be to use a charger with voltage > 5V.

Heck you could use a 10A charger and it wouldn't matter. When are people going to learn that it's up to. Just because a charger can supply 2A doesn't mean it has to.
Just learned something

The phone's kernel calls the shots on current draw. The charger provides for the demand up to it's own limits. I have an old HTC 1A charger that routinely provides 1.3 to 1.5A to my Note II.

Hi, I saw a review on the Z3 and they said the z3 has a 850mah charger? And it charges in 4 hours plus? Is it true? I am considering a Z3 and if its true, thats rly a con for me... Thanks in advance

stock charger is 1.5A
You can use other 2A or even Qualcomm Quick charge 2.0 chargers to charge in a much shorter time.
My Z3 came with a 1500ma charger so doubt that figure is correct.
However, the 4 hour charging time sounds about right.

Ah I see. I am considering the Note 4 too. Guess the Note 4 will charge alot faster then hmm. The website says that the note 4 charges in arnd 1 hour 40 minutes due to that fast charger.
Is the Z3 compatible with quick charge 2.0? In theory every device with the snapdragon 800/801 is but my nexus 5 surely is not for example , have you guys tested it ?
According to Qualcomm it is:

Works. I'm using the Tenergy Turbo charger and the LED changes to indicate Quick Charge 2.0. Only works through USB though and not through the magnetic port.

Unfortunately no, and I'm not willing to run down my battery to test it. I can tell you that it charges amazingly quickly with the QC2.0 working.
Why you dont want to put your battery to 0%? Every month you should put your battery to 0% to calabrate it.

No, you shouldn't. Life of lithium batteries are shortened when they are brought all the way down to 0. Although minor, just not something I want to do. Plus, I don't want to not charge my phone for 2+ days
Hi guys, Lollipop Stock rom seems to take longer to charge battery from 0-100 when compared to that of kitkat. (more than 3 hrs) . I dont know whether this is related to electric supply from boards in my home or not.
I am trying to buy Sony CP-AD2 USB AC Adaptor quick charger but need reviews before buying this. Is anyone using this ?? or used in the past ? Is this compaitable with Xperia Z3 and faster ??
Also suggest me if there are any quick chargers available in the market other than sony one (Z3 supports qualcomm quick charge 2.0) ???

I'm using "quick charger" from Samsung Note4 or Asus Nexus 7 (from 2012) charger.
Just a bit more then one hour for a full charge..

My phone is a E6653 and runs android Marshmallow 6.0.1 thanks

Hi there
I am expecting to receive my P30 Pro next week in Canada. May I know do you guys have any leads to get a 40W wireless charging pad ?
Please kindly share with us here.
Highly appreciated in advance.
Wireless Charging is at 15W. Hf
Sorry for my own confusion and I mixed up the 40W fast wired charging with the speed of the wireless charging, so you guys can close this thread now.

How about can anyone recommend a good 15w wireless charger. There are so many charging pads to choose from and I bet a lot are crap
What about the original wireless charger from Huawei? Isn't it good enough? AFAIK, it is 15W (the maximum available for wireless charging for this phone, no?)
