Hi friends just rooted the Beetel Magiq II. Had asked beetel customer care for usb drivers they said they don't have drivers. I took it as challenge but with risk to root my device.at the outset let me say that do whatever with your own risk I am not responsible if your device bricks (hard or soft).
Steps for rooting
1) first you would require drivers for the tablet as beetel has not provided with any CD for drives. So you have to download the drivers for the same. Since you all know that it is Huawei Ideos s7 tablet,we will download the drivers from huawei website. it is ~13 mb file. download and extract the file at location. attach the ideos tablet to pc or laptop. it would ask for driver location so access the folder that you created and depending on your system XP, W7 or vista. Alternatively go to device manager and it would show drivers not installed for ideos tablet just right click and select update drivers it would ask for location and according update drivers. It is important to update drivers before rooting.

2)Then download Super One Click Root Appv.1.9.1 and save it on your desktop.)
3)Now go to phone settings and enable USB Debugging.
4) Once this is done, launch SuperOneClick.exe by double clicking. Now click on Universal tab on screen
5) Now simply click on Root tab and wait for the process to finish. It will take some time so hang in there. In between it would ask some options click on right options, which would be easy.
6)After the rooting is complete, click Allow Non Market Apps if you need to.
There you go! you now have a rooted handset ready to accept any custom ROM.
7) download root checker basic and check to confirm that your device is rooted on not.

I have tried binary root tool (many version of script) but fail. I have tried after installing drivers from many sites as pdanet, karbonn official drivers for a27. I have installed java and android sdk on my windows 7 system.

What Android version are you currently running.
The screenshot shows 2 very basic possibilities
1). you have not enabled USB Debugging from Settings -->developers option Menu of phone
2). the drivers installed are not working,
check the usb debugging option and then try again, then try using different USB Port of your pc/laptop.
Use search option as this ADB error should already have been covered 1000 times here.

I have tried many solution for adb errors from inetrnet but all useless.
I am running android 4.1.2 version of android on my karbonn A27.
I am also able to run internet via usb tethering from my mobile to my pc
I have enabled USB Debugging. If driver are not running why tethering is working.

Hi friend you exactly have the same problem as I had. I too have the same phone . the thing is your phone is not recognized by root tool not because of the drivers it is due to vendor id (vid) of manufacture. The vid is not present in the android_winusb.inf file which is present in path android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver\android_winusb.inf as well as android_usb.inf at path C:\Users\karthik.kolanji\.android\android_usb.inf . I am attaching both the files...

I brought karbonn Retina A27 ... The phone's system is r/o (read only). The phone is not rooted due to that problem . All the root tool shows "mount : permission denied (are you root ?)..real only file system"
"without root I can't change r/o to r/w" BUT " without changing r/o to r/w I can't root my phone"...I am stucked..please help me

I did few extra steps
1] Configured vendor id in adb_usb.inf located in C:\Users\karthik\.android
2]Configured drivers code (extracted from Device Manager i.e; hardware id) in android_winusb.inf located in Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver
Managed to root with these steps:
Here's what to do in case you still haven't managed to root your device:
1. Download and install latest ADB drivers from here (make sure you have USB Debugging on)
2. Download and Install the latest Root Master. Google for VROOT and it should be the first link, or just click here
3. Disconnect your phone from pc, open VROOT, connect your phone (USB Debugging must be on) once your phone is detected it will show the model number
4. Click the green button in the bottom right and wait for the app to do its thing and you should see the tick and A27 ROOT once its done and your phone should reboot, you'll see an extra app in your drawer called superuser after reboot.
5. To confirm root install Root Checker from Play Store to confirm root.

Hi guys im gona tell u how to root any android device
Bofore rooting ur device u must know about disadvantages of rooting
REQUIREMENTS
1) windows pc
2) ADB drivers must be installed
If u r having prblm in installing adb drivers u can read must read my earlier post on"HOW TO INSTALL ADB DRIVERS FOR ANY ANDROID ON WINDOWS PC"
3) unlock root or srs root ( you can download any of them from official website link on google. if ur device is not supported by unlock root than u can use srs root)
4) usb cable
5) ofcourse an android device
PROCEDURE
1) atach android device to pc with usb debugging on( U MUST REMOVE SIM CARD AND SD CARD TO PREVENT ANY DATA LOSS)
2) download and install unlock root or srs root
3) open the software if u r using unlock root then click root button . It will show a pop up menu with device names . Select ur device and it will root ur device in seconds
4)if ur using srs root then open the software and click 'root by all methods 'select ur device and it will root ur device
CONGRATS YOU HAVE SUCESSFULLY ROOTED UR DEVICE
I WILL RECOMEND U TO USE UNLOCK ROOT FIRSTLY IF IT DOES NOT SUPPORT UR DEVISE THAN U CAN USE SRS ROOT

Thanks man, I'll test this when I get home, I root my devices in a windows VM. The drivers work fine, from Linux to Windows, but unlock root pro seems to have some kind of anti VM, it never opens. Do you know why? I'll test srs root when I'm home thank you.

I am not sure if this is the right place to post but or if it a repost(tried searching but no result here and sorry I if it is a repost.),
I am just sharing a tool that I found online to root the Karbonn A27+.
Just enable USB Debugging Mode and connect the phone to your PC and let it install all the drivers.
Then just click on "Next" on the GUI.
It installs a KinguserApk in English which allows for root permissions and changing it to SuperSU does not work and I loose root.
Hope this helps.
Searched lot and finally got root for Panasonic eluga u
Go to website http:// www.kingoapp.com
And download android_ root.exe fow windows
Install it in windows PC
1)Now enable USB debugging option in eluga u developer settings( to enable developer settings tap 8 times on Build number in about phone option in settings)
2) Now connect Panasonic eluga u with USB cable to computer
Windows will automatically install drivers for u r phone and it will get detected
3)Now enable USB thetering option in setting to use u r phones Internet on PC internet connection is necessary for u r PC because kingooroot app downloads additional stuff to root eluga u
4)Now open kingoroot app
It will detect u r phone and shown connected at bottom
5)Now click on root button
Kingoroot now starts rooting finally when completed it shows root succeeded
Now u will see superuser app in u r app drawer
Enjoy rooted phone with lots of mods

Finally i am successful in getting the drivers for my panasonic eluga icon installed on my phone. This MT65xx driver issue drove me cracy but thanks to this senior sir i was able to overcome the same with the help of kingoroot.
I have a doubt, can i take a backup of the drivers i installed , so that incase in future kingoroot does not download my drivers when i connect my phone to another PC, i can simply execute the drivers file. Please suggest how to go about doing it?

No need to backup any drivers!

In case I reformat my pc in future and lets say kingoroot software is down for any reason how will I reinstall the drivers for my phone?
