How to root Alcatel OT 990 easy way

Hi Friend,
I have rooted my Alcatel OT990 with Super One Click
The bigest problem for me was to find drivers
This is for those people who not have much experience about rooting n those who got tired of HSUSB drivers for Alcatel OT 990, here is simple solution.
Step 1: install PDANet to pc here is link http://junefabrics.com/android/
Step 2: While installing PDANet u ll get windows prompt...... click on Install Anyway
"
Step 3: During installation further u ll get a pop up saying..... Insure USB Debugging is On.... etc connect ur Phone n click on Yes (You must have turn on usb debugging in your phone for that go to settings > applications > development > Usb debugging)
Stup 4: Install SuperOneClick to your pc, Download SuperOneClick 1.9.5 (Later versions May NOT WORK!) Here is link http://www.4shared.com/zip/A-qwLIMw/Root_for_22OT-990.html
Step 5: Go to the Downloaded SuperOneClick folder,there will be a folder called "ADB" open it. There you will find 2 adb.exe files,one for Win 7,and one for Win XP.
Open your required file, it will show a command prompt window, Type "adb devices" and you should get something like 1234567890ABCDEF
If you get that,just close it.
Step 6: Now right click on Superoneclick icon and run as administrator.
Stup 7: Hit the Root button in superoneclick window and it will start rooting ur fone.
Step 8: while rooting it will ask u to.... Chek it by test Run.....press ok n ur phone is rooted ( To ensure u can c superuser app in your phones apps after rooting)
Dear Friends Now driver problem is already solved with this updated version of Alcatel Androidmanager download and install it from here http://www.alcatelonetouch.com/global-en/products/smartphones/ot-990.html

Thanks dear friends, i am so sorry for posting wrong way, actualy i posted here with mistake.using xda app from phone n now i m unable to move it at correct place. Any can help out this?

Wrong place, but it worked for me (although I had to stop the pda app on my phone in order for superoneclick to root it). I got titanium backup running which confirmed rootage, I may well have installed several virii on both my win7 netbook and my ot990 ( ), but at least I can delete some of the apps that I previously couldn't and can now work on install clockwork and a stock rom without all the apps I don't want on my phone but can't delete..

Just tried this out, and it works!
I'm going to buy a Galaxy Nexus soon, but this helps bridge the time. now I can remove some of the preinstalled apps, to save some of the extremely small amount of memory this phone has... still don't understand why they did that.

Can you please explain me when I root the phone what I get? And how can I move my instalation files on SD card. Thank you in front.

I don't have an experience about rooting. Can you guys help me to root my phone?

Ok guys so i know how after using their androis devices to half its extent...ppl want to get more out of it...now those ppl who are experienced in android jarnox already know about rooting
So this tool that im gonna share with you today is the **drum roll** cydia impactor!!
This tool has the ability to root the android system through the master key bug in most devices!
So now what u hav to do is turn usb debugging on on your device.it should be available in settings>developers options
After that u need to install the tool : http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/
Download it for windows or linux...whichever u use
Now connect your device to the pc where u hav installed the tool
Make sure the adb drivers for ur phone hav been installed...if not google: "device name" adb drivers
Now after the phone has been connected fully and the tool has been opened,u need to click start in the tool...it will push supersu to system/xbin
After the tool works its magic...take out the device from the pc
Now u would be wondering and searching for superuser on ur device but dont panic...it has been rooted but the superuser app and busybox have to be installed manually from the play store
After it is done...ur phone is fully accessible to root ))))

Do you need to have the Fastboot Drivers installed as well? 'Cuz my device can't access Fastboot.

actually guys i already know method how to root my phone but i am facing some kind of problem.
like.
1.when i connect my phone to computer and i click install drivers file automaticly it always take a process n then it say drivers can not be install
2. when i try manual drivers method-control panel-device manager-other devices there are 2 type of directries and both have mark of ! .
3.when i open unlockroot click in root it said you device is not connected..but my device already detect by moborobo.
4.i ask my 1 friend for help but he is saying to me drivers are preinstall in your mobile but my phone have not.so i download it aprox 8mb pakage in rar but its not working.
now tell me what i have to do ;(

download adb and installed the adb usb drivers, that should do the trick. also it looks like its has android 2.3 gingerbread, you can try this Method instead if you can get the usb working. (download the link on the second post, its a apk so install it from your phone.

hey i knw what u shud do looks like u cant install adb drivers........what u shud do instead is install adb drivers via PDAnet......its a software which will download adb drivers for u when i was new to rooting i cudnt install adb drivers myself so i used PDAnet......download PDAnet sotware I'm bound to post outside links n i dnt hav the link on xda so u can search it on google.......I hope it helps.................. n ohh please hit the thanks button afterwards......!~!

Root Your Symphony Xplorer w70q

hello guys :laugh:
i have rooted my symphony xplorer w70q using vroot pc tools method , its a simple , safe & easy method.
ok lets talk about rooting process. . . . . . . .
First go to setting =>security =>unknown sources & check unknown source.
then go to setting=>developer option & turn it on.
then tick USB Debugging Options & also tick allow mock locations from Developer Options in Settings.
if your W70q dont shows Developer options, it means you didnt get developer access,
to get developer access, First you have to go to setting=>about phone & tap sometimes on Build Number, then you will get developer access & Developer option will show on setting.
ok, now download pc root tools from this link vroot english[mgyun,com/en/GetVRoot](english vroot needed 1st to setup root process but then you have root using vroot china) Vroot china [mgyun,com/vroot] (use dot in place ,) (i could not post vroot link for xda forum's spam system, i will update link later) {i have rooted my phone using china version}
after downlooading, install it in c: drive in your pc, then connect the cable with you phone to pc . from your phone, select connect as Mount SD card.
then open vroot in your pc, connect the cable then it will check your phone driver & will download it automaticly for you, then vroot will show your phone model connected,
then click root ,then vroot will start rooting, after 1min, it will reboot device & upgrade android version & complete rooting. then it will give root complete message. :good:
As this is China version you have to download SuperSu from Play Store.
After installing SuperSu from play store, Open it Then you can see 2 option like Normal or CWM/TWRP Select Normal…Wait a second..then you can see uninstall option, select it..You Have done….now Enjoy
it will not brick your phone & you can unroot later,Internet connection compolsary while rooting phone, use usb modem or wifi for this, don't use phone while rooting, happy rooting

when I click root button on vroot apps take few minutes and at last faild and ask me to Retry...
plz Anyone help me...I can't play HD game for phone memory insufficient space

I'm interested to get the all firmware (including partitions like persist and all radio and network partition information), because my gsm signal is allmost = 0. Searched lot and finally got root for Panasonic eluga u
Go to website http:// www.kingoapp.com
And download android_ root.exe fow windows
Install it in windows PC
1)Now enable USB debugging option in eluga u developer settings( to enable developer settings tap 8 times on Build number in about phone option in settings)
2) Now connect Panasonic eluga u with USB cable to computer
Windows will automatically install drivers for u r phone and it will get detected
3)Now enable USB thetering option in setting to use u r phones Internet on PC internet connection is necessary for u r PC because kingooroot app downloads additional stuff to root eluga u
4)Now open kingoroot app
It will detect u r phone and shown connected at bottom
5)Now click on root button
Kingoroot now starts rooting finally when completed it shows root succeeded
Now u will see superuser app in u r app drawer
Enjoy rooted phone with lots of mods

Finally i am successful in getting the drivers for my panasonic eluga icon installed on my phone. This MT65xx driver issue drove me cracy but thanks to this senior sir i was able to overcome the same with the help of kingoroot.
I have a doubt, can i take a backup of the drivers i installed , so that incase in future kingoroot does not download my drivers when i connect my phone to another PC, i can simply execute the drivers file. Please suggest how to go about doing it?

If u r phone is now get detected by ur pc!
No need to backup any drivers!

But in case of a computer crash

In case I reformat my pc in future and lets say kingoroot software is down for any reason how will I reinstall the drivers for my phone?
