Ok guys so i know how after using their androis devices to half its extent...ppl want to get more out of it...now those ppl who are experienced in android jarnox already know about rooting
So this tool that im gonna share with you today is the **drum roll** cydia impactor!!
This tool has the ability to root the android system through the master key bug in most devices!
So now what u hav to do is turn usb debugging on on your device.it should be available in settings>developers options
After that u need to install the tool : http://www.cydiaimpactor.com/
Download it for windows or linux...whichever u use
Now connect your device to the pc where u hav installed the tool
Make sure the adb drivers for ur phone hav been installed...if not google: "device name" adb drivers
Now after the phone has been connected fully and the tool has been opened,u need to click start in the tool...it will push supersu to system/xbin
After the tool works its magic...take out the device from the pc
Now u would be wondering and searching for superuser on ur device but dont panic...it has been rooted but the superuser app and busybox have to be installed manually from the play store
After it is done...ur phone is fully accessible to root ))))

What Android version are you currently running.
The screenshot shows 2 very basic possibilities
1). you have not enabled USB Debugging from Settings -->developers option Menu of phone
2). the drivers installed are not working,
check the usb debugging option and then try again, then try using different USB Port of your pc/laptop.
Use search option as this ADB error should already have been covered 1000 times here.

I have tried many solution for adb errors from inetrnet but all useless.
I am running android 4.1.2 version of android on my karbonn A27.
I am also able to run internet via usb tethering from my mobile to my pc
I have enabled USB Debugging. If driver are not running why tethering is working.

Hi friend you exactly have the same problem as I had. I too have the same phone . the thing is your phone is not recognized by root tool not because of the drivers it is due to vendor id (vid) of manufacture. The vid is not present in the android_winusb.inf file which is present in path android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver\android_winusb.inf as well as android_usb.inf at path C:\Users\karthik.kolanji\.android\android_usb.inf . I am attaching both the files...

I brought karbonn Retina A27 ... The phone's system is r/o (read only). The phone is not rooted due to that problem . All the root tool shows "mount : permission denied (are you root ?)..real only file system"
"without root I can't change r/o to r/w" BUT " without changing r/o to r/w I can't root my phone"...I am stucked..please help me

I did few extra steps
1] Configured vendor id in adb_usb.inf located in C:\Users\karthik\.android
2]Configured drivers code (extracted from Device Manager i.e; hardware id) in android_winusb.inf located in Android\android-sdk\extras\google\usb_driver
Managed to root with these steps:
Here's what to do in case you still haven't managed to root your device:
1. Download and install latest ADB drivers from here (make sure you have USB Debugging on)
2. Download and Install the latest Root Master. Google for VROOT and it should be the first link, or just click here
3. Disconnect your phone from pc, open VROOT, connect your phone (USB Debugging must be on) once your phone is detected it will show the model number
4. Click the green button in the bottom right and wait for the app to do its thing and you should see the tick and A27 ROOT once its done and your phone should reboot, you'll see an extra app in your drawer called superuser after reboot.
5. To confirm root install Root Checker from Play Store to confirm root.

Hi guys im gona tell u how to root any android device
Bofore rooting ur device u must know about disadvantages of rooting
REQUIREMENTS
1) windows pc
2) ADB drivers must be installed
If u r having prblm in installing adb drivers u can read must read my earlier post on"HOW TO INSTALL ADB DRIVERS FOR ANY ANDROID ON WINDOWS PC"
3) unlock root or srs root ( you can download any of them from official website link on google. if ur device is not supported by unlock root than u can use srs root)
4) usb cable
5) ofcourse an android device
PROCEDURE
1) atach android device to pc with usb debugging on( U MUST REMOVE SIM CARD AND SD CARD TO PREVENT ANY DATA LOSS)
2) download and install unlock root or srs root
3) open the software if u r using unlock root then click root button . It will show a pop up menu with device names . Select ur device and it will root ur device in seconds
4)if ur using srs root then open the software and click 'root by all methods 'select ur device and it will root ur device
CONGRATS YOU HAVE SUCESSFULLY ROOTED UR DEVICE
I WILL RECOMEND U TO USE UNLOCK ROOT FIRSTLY IF IT DOES NOT SUPPORT UR DEVISE THAN U CAN USE SRS ROOT

Thanks man, I'll test this when I get home, I root my devices in a windows VM. The drivers work fine, from Linux to Windows, but unlock root pro seems to have some kind of anti VM, it never opens. Do you know why? I'll test srs root when I'm home thank you.

actually guys i already know method how to root my phone but i am facing some kind of problem.
like.
1.when i connect my phone to computer and i click install drivers file automaticly it always take a process n then it say drivers can not be install
2. when i try manual drivers method-control panel-device manager-other devices there are 2 type of directries and both have mark of ! .
3.when i open unlockroot click in root it said you device is not connected..but my device already detect by moborobo.
4.i ask my 1 friend for help but he is saying to me drivers are preinstall in your mobile but my phone have not.so i download it aprox 8mb pakage in rar but its not working.
now tell me what i have to do ;(

download adb and installed the adb usb drivers, that should do the trick. also it looks like its has android 2.3 gingerbread, you can try this Method instead if you can get the usb working. (download the link on the second post, its a apk so install it from your phone.

hey i knw what u shud do looks like u cant install adb drivers........what u shud do instead is install adb drivers via PDAnet......its a software which will download adb drivers for u when i was new to rooting i cudnt install adb drivers myself so i used PDAnet......download PDAnet sotware I'm bound to post outside links n i dnt hav the link on xda so u can search it on google.......I hope it helps.................. n ohh please hit the thanks button afterwards......!~!

First of all we need to root this device, for that there are many softwares available but without enough thinking i can say that the best is #framaroot
To download the app search the app name on google, i would have directly posted u the link but the forum didnt let me do so
Install this app and then run the 1st mediatek exploit, your device will reboot twice and will take 5 seconds longer the second time.
After that before the lock screen a message will appear showing that the android is upgrading and it will install the superuser app.
This works perfectly fine for mediatek socs, i have not checked the octa core ones but the dual core and quad core ones work perfect , jst now working for the cwm mode for this device, any doubts and queries u can freely ask and hit the thans meter if i have helped u

if u wanna play safe enough den no need to download this
note: droid tool is also able to root ur device but i would prescribe u to use framaroot for this. u need to root ur device using framaroot and then install BUSYBOX from play store to continue.
if u have any queries regarding this den i m here
step1: Connect your switched on rooted smartphone to your computer and open MTKDroid tool, the tool will recognise your device and connect to it (if the colour indicator in the bottom left corner is green, you already have root shell,and can go on to the next step, if it is yellow, click on the root button at the bottom, and wait for the progress bar, if the indicator stays yellow, or you get an error message as i said this probably means you do not have Busybox installed)
When the indicator turns to green you have root shell which is necessary for this
step2: click on the tab 'root,backup,recovery' and select 'to use boot from phone' then click on 'recovery and boot' and shortly after a dialogue box will appear asking if you want to 'make cwm recovery automatically' click yes
step3: The tool will then create the recovery and another dialogue box will appear asking to 'install created recovery to phone', click yes.
final step: the tool will ask to reboot into recovery mode, click yes and the device will reboot into CWM recovery so you can check the installation was successful.

And here the rooting process for XOLO TW800.
Firstly , download "Kingo Root" - http://www.kingoapp.com/
Enable USB Debugging,
To do this go to Settings and then Developer Options and then enable USB Debugging.
Then connect your tab to your computer using microUSB cable.
Then open the KINGO ROOT app on windows and follow the instruction.
You are all done.

HELP.. Can you provide me with the recovery.img file of the rom of this tablet.
I need recovery.img of the stock rom of this tablet. See if you could help me anyhow. I would suggest, if you rooted you could make a backup using flashify or twrp(apps only don't install these mod., not needed, just install apk and make backup and please share it with me.

You need drivers before using this. Just google 'enable adb drivers on nvidia based android tablets' and install drivers within 2 minutes by this easy process. Also, I need help if you sucessfully root it, please share recovery.img which is a part of the stock rom, if you could anyhow . Thanks to you too.

No need for any special kinda driver but though am not sure because on my own pc I have a couple of drivers installed . When I used my friend's pc for testing it again . I just insalled general ADB drivers . That was all I did . :good: Hope it helps . and sorry for the late reply . Things were messed up!

Yeah! iRoot worked . But at the time of the post iRoot didnt worked but now it works so its cool!
I can also confirm that kingo root worked for me. Just Fyi i have flashify backup of the stock recovery for xolo play tab 7 if its of any use
