[Q]Urgent Need HELP !!!

guys , i was trying to flash the devices to stock roms 2.3.5
and it show FAIL in the odin mode .... after that i restart my phone and now my phone only stuck at a screen which is : [Phone]..[exclamation mark]..[PC]
did i bricked my phone ???
any solution please ?

Don't worry. It is a soft brick.
Flash any stock ROM

ur into a bootloop dat is because of not proper reading.. from froyo to gb..u need xxkpe as d base..thn other gb roms..

get to downloading mode..
flash xxkpe... first... xxkpe..and the instructions can be found in asswome kkrraazzyy's thread for stock roms..
xxkpe is MUST to move on to gingrbread...
aftr xxkpe flash whatever u want to...
dxkp9..or xxkpq or whatever u want too..

go www.sammobile.com download the firmware dxkf1.
u will get 3 files after unzip.
flash with the pit file.
Take out battery than reboot download mode.
flash those 3 files.
or try flash dxkp9 again with bootloader update check.
do not check the efs clear!!
read and understand all the steps beforehand.

Run Odin3 v1.83
Turn the phone Off. Set phone to download mode : Press Volume down + Home Key first, then hold Power button.
Connect USB cable and the program will detect the phone’s Com number.
Add these files to respective tabs.
PIT – latona_20110114.pit,
BOOTLOADER – APBOOT_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship.tar.md5,
Phone – MODEM_I9003XXKPE_REV_00_CL1041909.tar.md5,
PDA – CODE_I9003XXKPE_CL409735_REV08_user_low_ship.tar.md5,
CSC – GT-I9003-CSC-MULTI-OXAKPE.tar.md5,
VERIFY all the files...
As soon as the phone is successfully updated with the latest version of XXKPE 2.3.4, you will have to now clear the cache from your phone so that all the cache data is being erased. To erase the same, you will have to first go into the recovery mode which can be done by first switching your phone off and then long press the volume up key, press Menu as holding both the buttons press the power button to start. You can see that after device gets switched ON, you will find options like clear cache data. You can clear that by selecting options Wipe data/factory reset and also you need to select Wipe Cache partition after which you need to reboot your device by selecting reboot system

thn flash any gb rom u want to STOCK ROMS.. cz custom roms are diffrnt ball game al together..

its an easy fix
go to either of these page
sammobile dot com
click firmware ( 3 times to go actual firmware page)
and then type gt-i9003
or
samsung-updates dot com
(since i am new user i cant post links)
download any of the 2.3.6 or 2.3.5 depending on your likes.
use odin to flash but make sure if your phone is working first put connection mode to USB mode, and from application development choose install from Unknown Sources and USB debugging mode. Then go to Downloading Mode and flash using ODIN. Once done your phone will restart and give it around 45 seconds you will see it stuck at samsung logo. once its there take out your battery and put it back and then enter Recovery mode. there first do
"Factory Data Reset" and then "Delete Cache". then reboot the phone
this will fix your phone and it will work like charm.

cwm recovery

I installed cwm 4 on my sgr...
to enter recovery ... I pressed volume down plus home key....
bt I can't enter recovery .. it starts normally....
plz help... I need to flash su through cwm and also the secure kernel by dev ardatdat to prevent emmc bug...

VOL DOWN + HOME key is used to boot in download mode. VOL UP + HOME is used for recovery mode.
to boot in CWM u will have to press VOL UP + HOME key as soon as the galaxy r screen appears on boot, u will notice "booting anrdoid recovery....." written with very small fonts at top left corner of screen and CWM recovery will boot in few moments.

none emmc brick bug related apps are designed for SGR or officially supported by their devs.
so its strongly recommended that u flash secure kernel first before performing wipes/factory reset/restoring nand backups,

got it... will do it...I have downloaded the kernel worth 7mb... can u shortly tell me in short how do I flash it....its in zip format should I flash via recovery or do I need to flash via odin...
m new to samsung... It was very easy for me in sony

flashing zip packages is same process in every android device.
all u have to do is.
place zip file u want to flash on sdcard
boot in CWM and choose install zip from sd card
navigate to file, choose it and flashing will start

My device freezed..plz help

Plz somebody help me.i have rooted my device today. Rooting was fine and I have installed reverse thethering app. Then I have installed Titanium Backup and change some settings to freeze apps.then the phone freezed and restarted itself. but it is stuck in samsungs logo..What to do..plz somebody help

My phone is not entering in download mode. When i try to enter the screen fades and restarts. I tried to enter in recover mode and selected factory reset then a logo appearslike a hat and an orange symbol...plz someone help me plzzzz....

My phone was in Froyo 2.2, then I updated via kies to 2.3.6. So which stock I have to reflash. I sthis bricking..? I have successfully rooted my phone. I think The problem happened because of titanium backup.

Normally the device is not entering in download/recovery mode.
update. Its now entered to dwload mode.Now what I have to do..? My phone was in froyo 2.2 and I have updated it to 2.3.6 via kies

great!!! since you can enter download mode I am gonna say you the easiest way to get your phone back in running condition..
*Download ODIN (google for the download link or search here in forums)
*Download a stock firmware from samfirmware (www.sammobile.com/firmwares/) or from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1004647 and extract the downloaded file to .tar.md5
*Install samsung USB drivers.
*Get your phone into Download mode and connect it to PC via usb cable.
*Open ODIN and check if the com port section and turned yellow(this means your phone is recognised by ODIN).
*Once the port section is yellow open the PDA section in ODIN and point the downloaded stock firmware in it.(the firmware file should be of format "I9003DDLF2_I9003ODDLF2_I9003DDLE1_HOME.tar.md5").This format is just for example and it may vary depending on the stock ROM you dowloaded.
*Click the start button.
*Once finished the ODIN com port section will turn green and should report "PASS"
*Disconnect your phone and Power on.. wait for some time as its the first boot so it will take time so be patient.

I have one more question. I rooted again my phone,And I found these new apps, Superuser,tweak and cwm. I dnt understand for what these 2nd and third apps for..And I am not installed any custom rom,so is there any themes available for rooted stock roms..?

tweeks are to to edit your build.prop and CWM(ClockWorkMOD) which allows you to create a backup point which you can restore via recovery and also let you flash ROM,MOD,etc and SuperUser is the app which comes into play after rooting which give root access to your phone/apps.
@themes:since you are on stock you can download any launcher like go launcher from market and download themes from there

so, how can i install jb or ics themes on my phone, I just want theme not the whole rom. or is there any custom gingerbread rom(stable like stock rom) for installing jb themes..? :0

you can download "Go launcher".. open it and browse for ics or JB themes and also there are many Gingerbread ROMs which have commom interface and JB ..

I have downloaded the frankenstain rom for flashing,But when I try to enter in recovery mode The screen fades and restarting normally. Is there any other settings for installing a rom..?
BTW when I opens the CWM in my menu it shows 'this version of CWM manager should be used with CF-ROOT v5.0 or newer.It appears you are running on a different kernel. Various features have been disabled.' Is that the problem with the kernel i have rooted..?

To enter recovery mode you should press Volume UP+Home Button+Power Button.press it long enough till samsung logo passes by.. and even my screen fades when I try it manually... try it for 4-5 times till you enter in recovery and dont worry when screen fades,its not an issue...
maybe your kernel is not compatible with the present version of CWM and since its not compatible some features might have been disabled and its no big deal....Custom ROM is zip and should be flashed via recovery so that you can wipe data/cache/dalvik..

So, I have downloaded the rom and placed it in my external sd. Then I must go to recovery mode and select install zip from sd card. thats it or any other steps to follow. The rom file must place in External sd or in device memory..? I will try this now after getting a reply.. <excited>

if you have a CWM recovery then you can go to recovery.. wipe data/cache/dalvik.. the flash rom then again wipe cache/dalvik and reboot... the first reboots always take more time so be patient

[Q] How to fix samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 boot loop

Hello, My samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0 stops at android after booting. It wont show anythings but keeps loading at android. How do i fix it.

Hold the volume up and power key together till you enter recovery, then restore backup. If you don't have backup then reflash the rom. You can also try clearing cache and dalvik cache before it. And i think it is the wrong section

No recovery
There is no clock workmod recovery installed so i cant recover any backup. It was only rooted

Use stock recovery, wipe, if that doesn't work do a restore.

Mostly this problem can be solved by just doing a factory reset in the stock recovery..
If it doesnt help there is only 1 way
-installing stock firmware using odin.
Follow these steps.
1.download the stock firmware from this site.

2. Now download odin app in ur pc/laptop.
http://odindownload.com/download/Odin3_v3.10.6.zip
3. Now charge your device above 60%, and go to download mode (power button + vol down)
And connect your device to ur pc.
4. Open odin and then select the firmware you downloaded from PDA button.
5.make sure you dont check/uncheck anything in there.just select the firmware and click start.
6.during this process it is best not to disturb your device, and if you see it rebooting dont worry it is common it will reboot several times if necessary.
7.once it is completed it will show pass in the pc.
And your device must have to reboot automatically, now remove the usb cable.
8.give it some time for booting, if it doesnt get booted even after 20 mins you can just go to the recovery mode,this time you will see the stock recovery, there perform a factory reset
9.now you can reboot,you will come to the stock firmware you had at first.
HURRAY YOU SOLVED YOUR PROBLEM!!!!
Note- remember to install your USB drivers if odin doesnt recognize your device.
Always have your device charged above 60%

u can install samsung kies then uninstall it only (only) to get drivers for all samsung devices

[Q] Problem in CWM

please help me
i dont know wat is version of my cwm
But it shows only six options that are as listed below:
1. Reboot
2. Apply update from ADB
3. Apply update from SDCARD
4. wipe data/factory reset
5. wipe cache partition
6. apply update from cache
when i try third option i.e. Apply update from SDCARD, it gives an error msg unknown volume for path
please help me, i want to install lollipop os on my phone or atleast kitkat rom, but not able to install

YOU ARE DOING EVERYHING ON YOUR OWN RISK.
I DID NOT TEST THIS.

The CWM revovery itself: http://d-h.st/0Fw
1. First be sure USB Debugging is checked in ur device ( Settings>Developer Options>USB Debugging )
2. Extract the Odin file from the zip.
3. Open Odin3 (Run As Administrator).
4. Put your device in download mode. To do so, press Volume Down And Home And Power Button all together and when it vibrates release
Power Button but keep pressing left ones. You should have a triangle with an android janitor while it's saying downloading ..
VOL UP TO CONTINUE...
5. Now connect USB to PC ,you should see a blue rectangle with COM:xx and saying Added. It means that your device is ready to be flashed!
6. Go into the PDA section and select your .tar file.(CWM Recovery)
7. Dont check any option (F.reset time and Auto reboot are checked by default) So just uncheck Auto Reboot.
8. Now click Start.
9. When it's finished, it should say that "Res OK" in Odin..
10. Now remove ur USB and remove ur battery and put it back and go to Recovery Mode (Volume UP And Home And Power Button all
together and when it vibrates release Power Button but keep pressing left ones).
If you don't see Developer options go to Stettings>About phone> press Build version 10 times quickly
