Olivier,
has a chance to be official?
I'm planning to switch to this ROM. Somebody please try to provide me the below details.
1. Whether OTA updates will work?
2. Specify the bugs or Not working features
My question is, has the option to change the theme in options.
OmniROM comes unrooted and without a Theme Engine, so no.
the download section of omnirom is down
@Olivier Its strange , I am not able to boot up the ROM on my C2104. I have wiped and also flashed the root zip after flashing ROM . Still its stuck on bootanimation ?. Any suggestions?

Bug with screen off animation
@Olivier:
Just clean-installed the latest OmniROM nightly from the official website and saw that the „screen off animation” option doesn't change anything:
Einstellung>Display>Bildschirm Abschaltanimation. No matter what you choose, the animation is the same „Ausblenden”.
One more bug: trying to change the pictures resolution using default camera causes FC.
L.E. just received the first OTA-nightly update. It went great but those 2 bugs are still there.
Do I need to flash Graphical Fix on OMNI? Or it comes with last Adreno Blobs?

If you want a better feedback from OmniROM testers, please insert some links in the signature with:
the list of curently known bugs from CM11 and transfered to OmniROM
little guide with what kind of logcat app would you like to use the testers (there are dozens)

Hey guys,
I have some "bad" news for you:
As i already told in this thread, i will go on holiday tomorrow and will stay there for about 6 weeks. After that i will start my studies. So the next few month will be fully filled out and I'm 100% sure that i will not find any "free time" to continue development of this modification. if I'll find any free time i will maybe start a new project, the next ~1/2 year i will spend to prefer myself for the studies and will have to learn all the time. i also don't want to have to turn my concentration on Development of a modification, i hope you can understand my situation. School is very important for me and my future so I want to have good marks to start a good life after it and thats why i will have to learn a lot ....
I know this thread is just a few days old and the Modification is brad new, but I decided to stop working on it and concentrate on school. Because of that I would like to close this thread (till i will find some free time, but this is apposed to be an minimum 2 month). Can please a Moderator delete this post ?
I really like the forum and I spent a nice time here, but i think now it's time for a break - if there are any questions or something you want to tell me, just write me a PM

What about Tweaks? Zram,interpolation 16bit..
There is something to have a best battery ?
New 0.8.1 is coming
Will be included:
- new battery-savung tweaks
-google now app from JB(4.1)
- annony statistics fix and display settings fix
Currently installed battery tweaks:
-set wifi update time from 15seconds to 300
- changed stock network mod to 2g
- updated deepsleep config (use the free app cpu spy or or battery settings to test report pls if working)
- tryed to use vitalys kernel but its unstable in my phone (sometimes stuck on samsung logo on boot --> recovery and flash arcos again)
IF Its working for you, use it ! It saves much batter life and the compromis between smiothness and cpu frequenz is also nice ! Smooth with only 800/1000mhz

I also always have this problem with vitaly's ICS kernel and have no idea why. Maybe its related to overclocking. On the other hand crybert's kernel works just fine for me: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27879301
It also has all additional governerors and schedulers (Smartass V2 etc.) but no overclocking.

Hello Oliver,
Nice work!! Thanks for bringing up such a nice ROM.
I was regularly downloading nightlies from PAC basketbuild
But this link redirects to a new page where i can't find downloads for ROM under your profile.
Few issues noted.
1. Whatsapp FC when trying to play a voice note.
2. FC when enabling slim recents
3. In About Phone Paranoid Android Version shows as 4.2. (Is it not Kitkat ready yet?)

Considering you have an unlocked Bootloader.
* Download the ROM and GApps.
* Flash boot.img from the zip file through Flashtool.
* Reboot to recovery.
* Wipe data/factory reset.
* Flash the ROM and then GAapps.
* Reboot your phone.
* Enjoy.
If you already have previous version of PAC-ROM installed then you just need to flash the latest nightly.

I didn't mean that. I meant that you cannot just use the CM ramdisk instead of Vanir's (it may cause unintended problems).

Ive encountered similar lag with RR 5.1.2, but i solved it when someone suggested me to flash Graphical fix, sadly, that wasnt the case with latest version of Vanir :/

Possible solutions:

2. Redownload the rom and check the MD5.
3. Wipe system, data, cache & dalvik cache.

Someone who wants to test my ROM? This ROM Is quite unlike other Note 3 ROM's. Is based on CyanogenMod.
Kernel in this ROM is the latest sources from Samsung with tweaks.
I am not responsible for bricked devices.
Don't work:
- Need to work more with SELinux.. Have some deniers
- You tell me
What is special about my ROM?
- Newer kernel source
- Lag free experience, because I have focused on GPU-source and PowerHall without overclocking. The key is efficiency
Mod edit: Links removed

you must flash the rom along with gapps at the same time. If you first flash the rom and boot and then flash gapps you will face Google Play service fc's.
so
1. Flash rom
2. Don't boot and flash Android 7.0 gapps (Any)
3. flash supersu.zip if needed
poof done no force close

You can't change the battery Icon within the status bar settings that's correct, however you can make the percentage appear within the stock battery icon. Go to settings / status bar / status bar icons". There, i have a setting for showing the percentage at the bottom of the screen, once I pass all the slider options for the icons I want to enable.

I think Android Pay is the cause of that trouble.
I'm so exited about CM14 on my note 3. One day i will try it. Have to wait now :/
Two questions.
1. Are there only two devs working on CM14 for note 3?
2. trader418 has one CM14 rom, but not that much time to work on it.
Can't you two collaborate on one rom, or at least a stable base that you can then work on separately if you which?
I'm asking this for as a user and not a developer this make sense.
Two cooks can be a good thing. :good:
Thanks for this rom m8.

Some of you have asked to me to open a thread for this ROM. I can't guarantee a proper support because lack of time but if you like it, this can be, at least, a meeting point for PA enthusiasts.
More info about AOSPA here.
Download
Latest version available here.
Installation
Sure you know: full wipe, flash ROM zip, flash gapps and reboot (or use MultiROM to install as secondary)
Bugs
Screen brightess issues (maybe enough or maybe too low for you...). Until fixed you can check Lux app from Google Play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vitocassisi.luxlite , thx @pappschlumpf for suggesting)
Tips
Default governor is Performance, you can switch to Interactive (for instance) using Kernel Adiutor or similar if you get too hot or fast battery draining.
Thanks
To all PA guys and people involved in this ROM and Mi Mix development.
Special thanks: @rhong , @VerucaSalt and @tidschi for testing, support and help to bring up this thread.
