I think this ROM is good, very fast, but...Wi-fi, bluetooth etc. doesn't work and when I apply your bug fix for all ROMs, it stucks on the CM logo or reboots all the time any advice please?

this issue will be cause if the wipe is not done properly
first apply the rom wipe/factory reset and reboot
second apply the patch wipe/factory reset and reboot
and final one gapps apply wipe/data and reboot and so all your bugs will be rectified have a try sorry for long processor

I did all as you wrote but with no success I connect to wi-fi, the icon of the wi-fi signal appears, says it's connected but when I open browser, "Web page is not available",email "Unable to open connection to server"...Notebook is connected, so wi-fi is good. I tried bluetooth too. When sending from mobile "No app can perform this action". SMS works well...I don't know where the problem could be, but if nobody posts about this problem, it's probably in me
Edit 1 the bluetooth is without problem...don't know how
Edit 2 I just tried deleting the file /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf and reboot (from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1161460&highlight=cm+wifi) and the problem is gone Thank you anyway, your ROM is much better than the stock

I upgraded to ICS Alpha to how how it was working, it was crap so I flashed back to this rom, and I am now having problems with WIFI, I have signal but Browser, Market and Sync all have connection problems

ics is under development and i think you not see some lines in thread

This is what it looks like. Notice the Wifi does have signal..

friend i think ur getting use of my old one this i posted was new update on 3rd april
have a try so at this update fixes are wifi stability, and few minute bugs just follow the instruction that i given at last comment on how to flash so there will be no bugs
this rom is for daily use

Camera Quality is good for me
Picture quality is Good.
All features work fine.
HDR mode works fine. But sometimes after taking the snap it just freezes.

As you said: I only brought up the Xperia L, but I don't build the nightlies, that's what their server hosted by basketbuild is for.

Download issues
I am not able to download the rom. After clicking on download, the download continues for some time and then the download stops. My friend too tried downloading and he too faced the same issue. Any solution?

Considering you have an unlocked Bootloader.
* Download the ROM and GApps.
* Flash boot.img from the zip file through Flashtool.
* Reboot to recovery.
* Wipe data/factory reset.
* Flash the ROM and then GAapps.
* Reboot your phone.
* Enjoy.
If you already have previous version of PAC-ROM installed then you just need to flash the latest nightly.

I'm experiencing a problem, when the phone has to change from 3G to WiFi or viceversa it is stuck so I hace to switch off and switch on WiFi or 3G to get the phone changes.
Do you know any workaround?

BTW , i am on TZ4.15 too but didn't get any BSOD

want to report after using this rom for 6 hours in stock kernel
everything is fine, no bsod in stock kernel, very smooth and 5.1.1 :victory: but sometimes AOSP Keyboard fc and stock camera quality is very bad

I switched to default kernal but still bsod is there. and no sound in fm radio......... other then this rom is awesome......

If I may ask .. keyboard typing gestures doesn't work. Have anybody find way how to "enable it" ? (An settings it is enabled although it doesn't work.) I'm sure it is not caused by gapps because I use minimal gapps which excludes keyboard.
Here's some review of RR - everything works just fine 2 days of using only one soft reboot till now (on CM 12.1 every few hours). No BSOD with TZ 4.15 system is stable, multitasking is wonderful (I can't tell about consumption because my baterry stats are corupted after fresh install but it seems comparable with other Lolipops )
Music vizualizer on locked screen doesn't work propertly and after reboot icons get bigger till next reboot when they return to right size. I can only wonder why. GPS once stayed "locked" my position (icon on top) like at CM 12 but reboot fixed it (that day I found about changing icon sizes ).
Anyway than you so much David this ROM is awesome

and audio.primary.msm8960.so

Hello everyone!
I successfully managed to run HTC One M8's camera on our device! Some things are not working correctly(duo mode,zoe,gallery editing,manual control(Sony framework fault) ), but i wasnt expecting it to even start the app.

Disclaimer:I hope it works for you, because I havent tested it on every rom. I tested on Stock(perfect) and Lollipop(improves camera a lot+more manual controls).
It didn't work on cm11 for some reason.

As i said in my first post, It totally messed up the stock ROM and i had to reinstall it.But worked on DU.
But today I installed ResurrectionRemix I encoutered a problem
I dont know how I did it before, but now it doesnt work(opens app,camera error, closes app).Even the Google Camera or any other camera software dont work :crying: . I really forgot how i did it before. I think I used the system for a while and flashed it directly without wiping anything. I will try that again later today. I really want it to work again, because it is an AMAZING camera app. I hope we see the Sony camera and its processing for LP roms later in time.

It is A LOT better! The little white dots that appear in custom roms in low light are gone. The pictures look amazing(but only 8 megapixels). The focusing in just plain PERFECT and the sounds are very cool. It sounds like a real xenon flash firing. HTC did a wonderful job with the app.

It flashed without a problem. I use the multiboot version of TWRP and flash it on secondary rom, so iI can test different things without messing up the phone.

I'll try today once again

Does the phone boot? Or app crash? You can try rebooting the phone of cleaning cache. I hope we get this app working, cause it is awesome.

Can someone take a look at the files in the zip? I think there are important camera libs being overwritten, but that is just a guess. I am not familiar with the android lib system.

Yea, I don't know how it happened. It worked the first time. But then i wanted to install another lollipop rom. I flashed the zip just like the first time, but all I got was a crash . I will write back if i find a way.

YESSS!! After a bit of messing around, I found a way to get it working. I just used Root Explorer to put the files in the folders. When a message to replace a file appears , just say NO. Then i rebooted and viola-it worked. Now I will try to update the app to the newest version and report back.

Installation
1. be sure you have a custom recovery like TWRP (I use v3.0.0.0 for klte) or similar
Everyone using those Nightly's is advised to use TWRP 3.0.0.0 for SM-G900F only!!!
Wipe/Clear data/cache function is not working in TWRP 3.0.2.1 and higher!!!
2. download desired NIGHTLY and GAPPS via link from above
3. put files on your SD-card and enter recovery mode via 3 button-combo or extended menu
3. wipe data/cache/dalvik, format system
4. flash Nightly
5. flash GAPPS (if Aroma is faster than 10 seconds, flash again. Aroma full installer aborts atm)
6. wipe cache/dalvik again (optional)
7. restart and have fun with your NIGHTLY

Okay guys,
here's my report for the nightly from 10th of August.
As I can say, everything is working soft and properly except of some small issues:
- multi-user-profiles are not adjustable
When I try to set a picture or change the account name a toast-message with "contact does not exist" appears. Profiles are shown as "Owner", "New User" and "Guest".
- when in 2nd user-account sometimes new installed apps are force closed
First time I noticed this, was when installing the new user-account, google framework had a fc, but afterwards everything worked great.
Second fc was on installation of SwiftKey Keyboard. To use it, I had to switch back to "owner", then the Keyboard is shown in the options
- Bluetooth music play on my car is stuttering, when phone is in use, f. e. when radar control app is in background. BT phone was fine in my car, but I read about other users, who had the same issues with their headsets.
Thats all so far.
I hope we can start a little discussion on your experiences and faced problems.
It will be great if someone can find an official way to report issues directly to the builders of this ROM.
However, the progress of development of this ROM is remarkable!

As you can read here its a known issue that is related on missing drivers for the button sensor. So waiting is the only option that us non-developing-skills-blessed-users will have.

Yes you're right.
The CM Camera is stripped down to the bones very much. Just use third-party-apps like open camera or original google camera instead to more features. There's another project called Camera Next which is a port from the OnePlusOne. You'll find it on XDA.
Sadly, they all are not as capable as the Samsung Cam, but for a quickshot, they're fine.

Anyone know how to get separate icon in status bar when using mobile data like the 4G and H+ icons?
What do you mean with separate icons? Do you think about data traffic arrows? My icons are changing from H, H+ to LTE as they should.

Yes, but as you can see I only see the arrows and not the LTE indicator, I think may be its because my sim is on roaming.

Yeah Roaming is overwriting the displayed letter. Get back home and this will be fine!

Hi, Thanks for the Rom. It works great. I am just facing one issue.
I had Philz touch recovery and after I installed this rom, its seems like the phone isnt rooted anymore. I tried updating the recovery to latest TWRP and it didnt work and also to CM recovery, that also didnt work. Any suggestions to get the root back?

Hi,
first have a look in developer settings and switch on systemwide root access. Sometimes it get lost when flashing a new recovery. I use the TWRP 2.8.6.0 recovery. It is not buildt for the S5 duos, but it works perfect. With this recovery I never lost root access by flashing a new ROM.
BTW, CM provides a custom recovery since the Nightly 13th of August. Anyone tried this?

Hey buddy,
Thanks a ton. That did work like a charm. Now it's rooted Last recovery I flashed, was CM Custom recovery, the latest one. it does work, but honestly I havent used it that much. Just booted once.

Facing the same issue but its not this massive. just my opinion. If you like testing to get Xposed working for our Duos variant with CM 12.1 u r able to set new volume specs with V4A.
Pls report back.
...but as seen, getting Xposed working is easy, Viper 4 Android is not!

Another bug, Bluetooth disconnected and connected for few seconds randomly and shutter while audio playing. Any temporary fix please. Thanks.*
