Are you using a custom ROM? because sometimes its the ROM itself that is causing the problems, Or have you uninstalled a system app recently? I remember I had the same problem once when I accidentally uninstalled the wrong system app and a lot of things just started foreclosing. I fixed my problem by doing a full wipe then installing a fresh new ROM.( Im currently using CM11 4.4.4)

RemICS v1.6 mobile data issue

I have flashed with chinmay_7d's RemICS v1.6 . Yeak it looks cool, but I am facing an issue. When I turn on mobile data usage, the phone will turn off after some time (5-6 minutes) and it is not possible to turn on the phone again . It is needed to plug in it and turn on and then only it is working. In this condition, it is showing android is upgrading. There is no problem with using internet while plugged in. Anyone know how to fix this...? I like this ROM very much and so if it if fixed, then that will be cool.
are u coming from earlier versions of RemICS? followed all the installation steps?, go back to re-flash and tell us

Yes I am .Actually this issue was with 1.5.4 also. I have followed all the steps and cleared dalvik Cache and formatted cache partition. I have even done the factory reset and wiped all apps. I think the issue is because, it is reading the battery profile incorrectly or battery is actually drained when mobile data is turned on and that is triggering switch off thing.

Not sure if I'm right, but I think the practical solution to your problem would be to perform a flash from 0 up KPQ or KPU (which are the most stable to install this ROM), it may be the modem or the base ROM you used (for 3 months I have this ROM and never gave me any problems with KPQ)
Another thing, have you tried testing with Dhiru CM9 Base? to see if the same thing happens?

Have you tried to fix permissions on CWM? I got some problems with it too. After fixing and installing 1.5.4 again no problem. Now I'm on 1.6 and all is fine...
@ tavomt :
I think I can directly flash to stock rom.
Please help me
sI have tried fix permission and after that also this issue persists.
Also I have flashed with CM10 alpha from dhiru. This is also showing the same behavior. :crying:
Now flashed with RemICS JB . But the issue is still there. :crying::crying::crying:
I think I need to go back to REMICS 1.0, as there is no issue on it. But I desperately like to use this ROM. If anyone has got a fix, please post and help me.
Sometimes, when I take apps also , the phone gone off (Google Currents and Angry bird )

What is your baseband version? Mine is xle4 and have no such problem using remics(kernel bam & chaos) and rem-jb. Try using 2g only for a day, and see if the problem still persist.

The issue you are facing is exclusive to you. So i will not consider this a bug from my ROM.
I suggest you to follow correct flashing procedure. Wiping data before flashing a new ROM is a good practice.
It is possible that a third party app you are using is responsible.

Hmmm... but I have tried it also..now I think its better go back to stock . Can anyone give me the URL to download latest stock for our phone.....?

Issue persists in Stock also
:crying::crying::crying:
The sad thing is that the problem persists after flashing stock ROM also. I have first flashed to XXKPE and then to XXKPU using Odin as given in the following link
http://blog.vigitalsolutions.com/2012/08/18/upgrade-samsung-galaxy-sl-i9003-to-cyanogenmod-9-cm9/
The issue is there in both the stock ROMS. Actually this issue was not present before. Now don't know what to do. I am only able to connect to internet in plugged in state.
Some times it turns off during call also .

Unforutnately <app> has crashed : how to fix

Today morning i installed "Forest HD " and " Ocean HD " Live Wallpapers and ever since i am getting " Unfortunately <app> has crashed.
I am getting this error for almost all apps (including Chrome, Youtube gmail etc etc) and clearing cache via recovery did not help.
I even installed latest CM 10.1 nightly and the error persists. Kindly let me know if i have to do a Data Wipe / Factory Reset ?
Or do i simply reinstall CM10.1 ? Is Data Wipe same as re install ?
My device : GT-P3110 with CM10.1 nightly 2-05-2013
yes, wipe data. The live wallpapers are stored in the data. You would also try removing em.

uninstalling did not help finally ended up in doing wipe data and reset. If anybody else has faced this problem after installing on GT-P3113 ,let me know . I have purchased these and want a refund if others too face similar problems.

Random reboots stock unrooted tab 2 7 inch

I am getting random reboots!!
When i start to interact ..it reboots after some seconds. frustrating
Play store was behaving badly too.
asked me to sign in again. asked me to re install google plus. reseted my auto update preferences. so on.
Apps are stopped on background. "unfortunately Dropbox has stopped" etc. unupdated and unused dropbox. Also bbm,
Updated apps are shown recently un-updated.
What could have gone wrong?

Now it thinks its new ...asking me to pick device language..the initialization screen??
Did you tried to wipe all the data and begin again? Or flashing any custom rom?

the problem is i didnt use the note about a week yesterday i turned it on and it take a whi;e to start after she turned on a pop up error tell me that system ui has been stopped i cannot use it anymore there is any solution to fix it without flashing again ? thank you
You can flash the rom again without wipe.
Then you shouldn't lose any data.
First you can clear dalvik cache.
If nothing else helped think you should do a factory reset.

android.process.media has stopped, help?

Hello guys, I have this s7 duos (gt-g9305fd) (UAE), I rooted it about a week ago and everything was going okay, but yesterday while I was playing with developer options I turned on OEM lock/relocked it, and then after the phone restarted I got this message "Custom binary blocked by FRP lock", I searched for solutions online and I read that I have to flash the stock rom to fix the issue, so I did (Indian Stock Rom). After that, I booted it up and got several "x is responsive messages" (android.process.media, my files, Google x, Google y, Google z) so I thought it's a permission issue so I rooted it again, but that doesn't seem to fix the issue .. Is there a way to fix this?

Try to go in and force stop android.process.media and cmlear its data and reboot. If that does not work jreinstall stock firmware with odin.

How can I force stop android.process.media, what app is that? Also, I did flash stock firmware and that's the only reason I'm getting these errors.. I'm guessing it has to do with Google * apps or some stock app(my files gets unresponsive too, also can't see anything from gallery/my files)
