I am looking for an app which reads my new messages and respond to them based on keywords. The respond text will be dynamic so I need a way to program/configure it. May be open source SMS auto responder app is what I am looking for but may be there is an app you can suggest me which does exactly what I am looking for. Everything is possible.

Let's say that a friend of mine sends texts to someone that he wouldn't want my, (erm his) wife to find out about.
Is there an SMS manager that will auto delete all texts to and from a certain number at 5pm, for example, each day?
My friend will be very grateful for any ideas.
look for a firewall app it wont delete them but it will hide them.
Not exactly a common request, so probably not.
Should be easy enough to knock up an app to iterate through the messaging inbox and delete anything from number x. So if you know VB/C#/C++, or care to put in a few days learning, it should be an easy enough project.
Who knows, you could even profit from it, and we could see AffairCoverup Pro(TM) released in MS' new app store.
Yeeaaaah. ACP(TM) We have a title. I just need to learn to program...

cool app ! I was almost sure that was not possible to do that !
SMS Organizer - should work for you
Try SMS Organizer ( search for SMS Organizer by trailblaze in google play store)
It can auto delete sms when the sms sender matches some predefined number or string.
Basically you can set 'rules' where you mention that if the incoming/outgoing sms macthes certain conditions (say the sender is so and so,or the message text has a certain keyword), auto delete/move it to a custom folder.
Great app to organize and manage your sms inbox bye the way.
General Idea: Enable your phone to React to sms messages and missed calls. Running rules you set up for contacts and showing custom notifications or by running scripts.
Use Cases:
* Sleeping through late-night pages from work? Set the phone to just keep vibrating for work sms.
* Don’t hear missed call messages? Set them to repeat..
* Phone stolen? Send it an sms to run a script to retrieve gps location.
* Phone lost at the house and ringer on silent? Send it an sms to run a script to turn on ringer.
* Family emergency? Let them text you 911 to have the phone vibrate like crazy.
Looking for general feedback, feature requests, bugs
Up on the Marketplace search for riotRE or just "riot"
How about repeat notifications for email as well? I've been looking for an app that does it all, similar to AlarmPal for WM but for Android. Just got the Droid X today and looking for a solution.

It shouldt run with htc email client because of exchange email!

Yeah I'm using Gmail Notifier atm, but you can't do filters like this app can for SMS/missed called. That additional option would be pretty awesome.
I came across an for win mobile called Mobliza http://mobliza.com/
In short, it has a function that uses an AI bot to auto answer incoming sms messages, amgonst other things. Is there someone in the community that can develop something like this for android?
Something like this?
"autoresponder"
Can't post links but its on appbrain.
I looked at auto responder and the responses have to be preset and pretty generic. Mobliza emulates a personal response and adapts to what the texter is sending. IMO pretty damn cool.
Since Google decided to remove this application from Playstore, I will keep it updated here
SMS4warder provides a quick and easy way to forward your incoming SMS messages to a different phone number.
All you have to do is to set the "forward to" number and enable it.
Optionally you can set the app to start on boot in background so you don't have to start it manually each time you reboot your phone.
I developed this app because I have two phones and I don't want to carry them both with all the time. I hope you will find this app useful, too.
Please let me know if you have any suggestion, I will really appreciate it.

Hi,
Sorry for not replying until now. I have uploaded a new version of the application that has the feature you requested. I had to rebuild the app from scratch so it will install as a different application than the one you already have installed.
Hello,
I'm searching an app to forward only one specific android notification.
I would like to choose the content of the notification that will be forwarded by SMS to another phone than mine.
For example, I would like to forward by SMS any notification which contains the words "alarm detected".
Does anyone knows an app which can do this ?
Thanks
