[Q] How to flash Android rom on Aliyun OS Umi Cross C1?

Hello, this is what I've tried:
1.Root YunOS with "framaroot.apk" --> no success (so I can't flash a new recovery with "Mobileuncle_MTK_Tools 20140111v2.9.9.apk")
2.Root the phone with program --> no success (certainly it's because there is no usb debugging mode in Aliyun OS).
3.Flash the phone with "MTK flashtool" (Sp flash tool) --> I can only flash the original AliYunOS rom in download mode.

with Android roms I get the scatter file problem: "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded"

3.1.Replace the recovery in the Yunos rom with the cwm recovery and flash only the recovery --> playing with the battery, I saw the cwm recovery one time for 2 seconds but the phone continue the starting procedure. Afther that I can only access the Yunos testing recovery.
3.2.Replace the scatter file from an Android rom with the scatter file from Aliyunos and flash with Android rom --> phone still booting for more than 15 minutes. So I flashed the yunos rom again.
4.Flash an Android rom with Sp flash tool in "firmware update mode" --> problem with the preloader: bricked phone. I flashed the yunos rom again to save the phone.
5.Install ADB drivers then launch "MtkDroidTools" --> Android adb device not found error (so apparently I can't create a scatter file with MtkDroidTools).
What other options are available? I'm in dispute with the seller because the phone was supposed to be in Android version with multilingual and Google play.

Omg... Please tell me there's a less complicated way. I just won a umi cross on eBay for half the retail but reading this i gear my enjoyment ended there. The seller days out comes with Android 4.2 i know nothing of Alyn can you install play store or other store? Is it possible to use the phone if it is Android in a simple way or do i now have home work to do? Oi, how do i even root the device or connect to a computer, I'm panicked please advise on lay mens terms.....

Partitions problem
In Sp flash tool, I did a format+download to avoid the "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded" error. I installed this rom (the flashable version):

But there are 2 problems:
1. the IMEI are invalid with this Android rom --> should be resolved with "Mobileuncle_MTK_Tools" (but I didn't try, because of the 2nd problem)
2. the partitions are not right: 5GB for the applications and 1.3GB for internal SDcard. In Aliyun I have 25GB storage.
So I flash it again with the Aliyun OS rom:

I read that there could be problems with "SP flash tool" using version 3.x with scatter file bigger than 1KB or using version 5.x with scatter files less than 1KB. For me only SP flash tool 5.x works good.
So if someone have a suggestion to try to solve the storage partition problem, I'll be very happy. Thanks in advance.

Hello, to solve the storage partition problem, just erase the internal SD: the 23GB are back.
For the IMEI are invalid problem, install "Mobileuncle_MTK_Tools":

Sim1: at+egmr=1 7 "35xxxxxxxxxxxxx"
Sim2: at+egmr=1 10 "35xxxxxxxxxxxxx"
Start imei by 35 or 36 (total 15 digits)
but before I needed to flash an other ROM with the recovery cause the "settings" crashes.
The phone is working good now with android, the only small problem is that you need to enter the IMEI after every "factory restore".

This information solved my "pmt changed for the rom it must be downloaded" error. I was able to successfully flash my phone that I have been struggling with for a week and a half. Thank you!

[Help] Install new ROM

Hello guys, i'm new on the world of Android and i need a little help. I'm newbie but i learn fast.
I got a new phone with android 4.4.2 China honor 3 (fake), after uninstalling some China app the operation system started to stuck at logo at the start.
So to solve the problem i red that i could restore the old OS using ROM file. The factory where i bought the phone sent me the official ROM file for my phone.
Now i entered on Recovery mode, first i did "wipe data/factory reset", then with ADB i loaded the file .zip "adb sideload update.zip". But how the file is uploaded it says "Installation aborted", without any error.
So now i need your help how can i restore this system... I tried also to buy an SD card 8 gb and upload the file on the SD, but same error.

Thank you for the answer. But wheni try to run TouchRecoveryLoader.zip from recovery, it says "installation aborted" like for the ROM.
I dont know if the phone got root access, i think this can be the problem.

SUMMARY:
I unistalled wrongly MIUI (MiHome app) and the phone stopped working correctly.
Phone is a fake honor 3c with MTK 65xx processor.
1 - Phone doesnt load the main theme, after the android logo i see a black page. (i see the top bar where there are wifi, time etc)
2 - The phone is not rooted. (i think)
3 - I can enter in Restore Mode and Factory Mode.
4 - I got the official ROM file. (the factory gave me it)
5 - All file zip (that i try to use in recovery from SD or ADB) give me "Installation aborted" without any error.
6 - I haven't USB DEBUG enabled, and i can't enable it cause i can't load the Operation system.

if you open the zip file you got, whats inside it? is it a .tar file, or a .md5 file?

Sorry, i didn't write that i SOLVE the problem!
I userd flash tool selecting only "ANDROID" and pointing to the system.img of the ROM that the factory gave me.
Android reinstalled, all working fine.

#Requirements:

Use SP Flasher v 5.0xx to flash (Link) .
Download the scatter file MT6582(Link)
#Procedure :
Open SP flasher and choose scatter file Mt6582_android_emmc.txt
Goto recovery link and choose the CWM recovery (downloaded).
Now connect your device in switch off Mode with its battery inside and Download it
Now open CWM by pressing Vol up+Power Key
Choose "Install zip from sd card" >Choose zip from Sd card > select the update SU.zip
Reboot and we are done rooting.

Repartition Internal SDCARD
As we know this device {MTK6582}comes with 4GB ROM with APP data to be 1GB and user Storage 1.59 GB.
Such small APP space cause a lots of problems Thus best way is to repartition it with HKRom Manager.

Requisites:
Hk rom manager.apk
CWM /TPRW recovery
A full backup CWM or TPRW.
Procedure:
Before you proceed take a full CWM or TPRW backup as phone internal partition may not work or respond sometimes.
Now install the app
Open the app and select mt6582 fast runner (2nd option) ::it will be the only highlighted option .
Choose your required data size (say 2GB , its fine ) and hit apply and now wait.
It will show boot into recovery ,hit yes
After 3 mins you are done. ReBoot it
Now You have 1.8GB APP space and 540MB for storage
"Remember all your phone data will be lost as phone is re-partitioned and Formatted. "

Procedure:-
Case-I :If you have a unrooted and no CWM ANDROID Phone with USB Debugging Enabled
First TURN ON the USB Debugging Option :: ie , Settings>Developer options>USB debugging and install ADB drivers
Start MTK Droid Tools <Provided above> ,Grant the USB debugging request and wait till device get discovered .
Then click on BLOCKs Map and you will get all partition and their length .Here you can create a scatter file also. and minimise the window .\, We would require the location later.
Then TURN OFF the phone . OPEN SP flasher , Choose the scatter file you made or provided in the link.
Then Goto READBACK tab and add a readback file ie ROM_0
Click on ROM_0 and choose the destination Folder .
Now a Box will open and ask for Start address and length ,SET it in hex and do the following
start address:0x0000000 and length 0x7FB80000 [The length of FAT as in scatter file] ,Remember if you want the length shown in block map then just ADD 0x [length] .
Now HIT readback. Connect the Phone using USB with battery inside the phone and wait till its get discovered and yellow bar will represent the work.
It would nearly take 30-45 mins and we got our ROM_0 file.
Again Turn ON the phone and connect with USB debugging ON.
Open Minimised MTK Droid tools and Goto Root,backup tab and Hit Process ROM_0.
It will ask to make CWM recovery from original recovery ,if u want CWM fro your phone here you can get it HIT Yes.
After Processing finished we will get our SP flashable STOCK Rom Files in mtkdroidtools>backup
Hence we are done . And In RESULT we get ,ScAtter File ,SP Flashable STOCK Rom images and CWM Recovery for the phone.

Case II:-An Android Phone having CWM (with or without Root)
Here we get CWM Backup For Stock Rom which is good for Porting like purposes.
Keep 3 GB of space empty in SD card.
First Turn OFF the Phone and HOLD UP+ Power Key
Enter to Recovery Menu>Backup and Restore
Hit Backup
After it completes Goto SDCARD>CLOCKWORKMOD>BACKUP
Result we get CWM Backup of STOCK ROM which can be flashed By CWM on Hitting restore in Backup and Restore.
Case-III:-A rooted Android phone (with or without CWM) USB Debugging Enabled
Here we can get CWM recovery,SP Flashable Stock Rom and to work with Rom files.
Connect the phone phone to PC via USB and turn ON the USB Debugging.Keep 3GB SDcard Space
Then start MTK Droid Tools and let it detect your Phone.
Then Hit ROOT button just at Down right.
Let it connect to phone and Grant the SU Permission in the phone.
The yellow mark in down left corner will turn Green .
Goto Root, Backup Tab and Select userdata and cache in Bacup option.
Now hit Backup. It would take and hour or so.
Then click on" prepare blocks for flash tools" and wait .
After it Finishes you have CWM recovery,SP Flashable Stock Rom and to work with Rom files.

[help]Samsung Grand Neo I9060 NO OS Installed

Hi everyone,
Currrently facing problem with my samsung grand neo i9060 which is:
- NO OS Installed, NO DATA in memory internal (wiped by mistake)
- Twrp recovery (2.8.0.0) can't read external memory (sd card)
- Windows 7 or Odin (1.85/3.07/3.09) can't detect my device.
Already run 'adb sideload' method but still NO DEVICE FOUND in result.
Have installed many version of my device drivers but none of them is work.
please anyone...

Follow this procedure to overcome in flashing phone
First of all you need to completely uninstall any driver related to your device from device manager and odin.
click on system --> property --> device manager and uninstall all driver related to your device.
Restart your system
Install drivers
Install odin
Restart system
Put your phone in download mode.
Wait if any driver install automatically.
Flash the firmware.
Done :victory:

1. Turn off your device (probably done )
2. Launch SP flash tools
3. Load the scatter file you downloaded
4. Uncheck everything, then check system
5. In the location section of the system, find the system.img you downloaded
6. Click on Download
7. Plug your device
8. When the green check appears, quit SPFT
9. Boot in recovery mode, with power + volume up
10. Wipe Cache then Wipe Data
11. Reboot :fingers-crossed:
In the image system I dumped from my phone you will get root permission with SuperSU, Cerberus Anti theft as a System App (call 2356 for settings), and few of my settings, like faster animations in developper options etc

Phone was messing around yesterday and not opening any apps/crashing, so thought i'd just do a stock flash.
I followed all the steps, however I couldn't get the preloader drivers on my computer. Im runnning windows 7 and when I head to device manager, I only have "MTP USB Device" and then subsequently trying to update the drivers shows up with "WIndows has determined the driver software is up to date".
I figured out that the problem was a corrupted microSD card, however I did unroot in the process and would like to flash your provided system image on! Any ideas?

Thanks, I followed the steps and unbricked my Vowney. In addition to checking System in step 4, I also checked Boot. The phone is up and running.
