I just updated to EOS 156 via goo manager (and latest gapps) backed up before flashing via clockwork
Something went wrong on update and now tablet boots but when it gets to lock screen I enter pattern and it just freezes (I get a popup after a while system is not responding and to wait or FC)
So rebooted into clockwork to restore and it came up no files found! - Had a look just via "flash a zip" and it seems directory structure has changed and root now has just 3 folder... '0'. 'legacy' & 'obb', going to '0' shows my normal root where I can navigate to clockwork dir and shows all my backups but no way of manually choosing where to restore from
Tried flashing EOS 155 again and it just refuses to boot and sits on logo, reflashed 156 and again same issue of just freezing on lock screen
USB mount in clockwork dont seem to work either just pauses for a few secs and takes me back to front screen so no way of pulling any data off or putting a new rom on
Any ideas?

Would you be kind enough to list out step by step what you did? I am unable to get back to 155. It hangs at team eos logo with anything but 156. I did a factory reset etc. really weird. I also cannot add my gmail account to 156, don't have play store app, but when i go to store via browser, it thinks all of my apps are installed but they aren't. i haven't seen this before at all. any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
Uhhhmmmm Hello,
I got a Huawei Ascend Y210D Cellphone, and i got it rooted, and i deleted some files, now it wont open, when i open it, it shows the logo and its animation only, it keeps on repeating, until i tried to factory resset , now i could open it , but when i press something like the manage apllications, it says com.process.manage applications has stopped something like that, but when i tried like the sound or display in settings , i could access it, i downloaded an app, now i have clicked the shutdown button , it will display the logo with its animation again, repeating, now i removed the battery, and open it again, it shows the logo with animation again,
Is there a way to fix this??? i cant seem to find a custom rom for this device, do i still need to download a rom or just use some tools to recover the files? i think i havent unlock the bootloader.
really thank you in advance, any answers will be appriciated by me , im sorry if i made a mistake
Have you made a nandroid backup prior to deleting files? If you have, restoring this nandroid backup should fix these problems. You will lose app-data that has been changed after you created the nandroid backup when restoring.
If you have not created a nandroid backup you should try to flash the stock rom as can be found here; huaweiy210d.blogspot.in/2013/04/stock-rom-for-huawei-y210d.html. Note that I do not own this device and have not tested this rom!

Please Help!!!!! I have a rooted Samsung Galaxy S3 that I have a problem with. I was going through my phone trying to get java to work on the phone and I noticed you had to copy a file into the lib folder, so when I tried to start all over to see if I had done something wrong I deleted the lib folder and right when I did that the phone kept saying touchwiz has stopped working, so i turned it off and turned it on and then it wouldnt get passed the white samsung logo and then went straight to Android update recovory and if i put reboot now it just keeps taking back to the recovery state, I also did wipe data and factory reset but that didnt work either. I have tried to flash a custom firmware that i flashed on it to get it rooted but the problem stays the same is there anyway i can fix this and get my phone back?

Which recovery are you running (stock, CWM,TWRP,Philz etc) ?
As I see it, you've got 2 options:
1- Flash back to stock rom using Odin (see S3 thread FAQ)
2- Download other custom rom (I suggest the one i'm using), copy it into your device (you can mount your device SD in recovery mode),
perform wipe data + cache wipe + delvik wipe, and flash the rom.
Im on TWRP recovery, and in the recovery menu i accidentally wiped internal sd, and now when i flash a new Rom, after it installs an i get through the typical new phone start up process, i get a message that says, Unfortunatley system ui has stopped, and another one that says htc dot view has stopped. And then when i get to my home screen i have no Status bar or navigation bar (soft keys) and my homescreen is just a black background. I can still access my apps but cant go back because there is no soft keys. I went into my settings, to my apps, and when i went to system ui to try clearing the cache its greyed out and saying "computting" forever. What do i do? I have a htc one m8 T mobile US with unlocked bootloader and S-On.
I've already tried factory resetting and flashing a new rom and i keep getting the same results. Please help!

I got the same problem too on my lenovo A316i :crying: pls. help!!
I had the same issue when using TWRP; took all of the steps mentioned below without success. I then flashed stock recovery and wiped - this fixed it
If system ui stoped and your phone running just copy the apk of system ui and replaced it system ui apk use a root explorer or every thing go to device/system/app then find the system ui apk then replaced it or device/data/app lib/and find again the apk and then replace it .......... If your system ui stopped and u cannot used your phone follow this steps go into 'stock' recovery mode and choose wipe data/factory reset that's it
My HTC one M8 sprint all of a sudden, after installing xposed came with this error: "Unfortunately, System UI has stopped. I cannot shut it down and my battery is inbuilt. I cannot even reboot. in fact, i cannot do anything. please help, what is or are the options I have. I am desperately in need of help. Thanks to any God sent in advance.
So I accidentally uninstalled Touchwiz Home and the phone keeps on rebooting. I got into the regular recovery mode and cleared cache, but the phone still reboots. The swiping screen turns on, but then it says "com.android.phone has stopped working or something like that and then immediately restarts. Is there a way to fix this? Or at least recover all of my files before restoring it? I really do not want to lose all of my files. Thanks.

There may be a couple of ways of correcting this. Much will depend on what bootloader and modem you are on.
Are you on a stock ROM, and if so what version?
Or, are you on a TouchWiz based custom ROM?
If you are rooted and have USB debugging enabled you may be able to adb to copy files and/or directories to a computer. You have probably already copied everything from the external sdcard to your computer. It is unfortunate that the stock recovery does not have file manager that allows you to copy to the external sdcard, TWRP does. TWRP may be an option if you are on an early version of the stock ROM.
As a final resort, on times when I have upgraded with OTAs or flashed custom ROMs without formating the internal sdcard the media partition remained intact. This may not be true with an Odin flash of the stock ROM. Then again /media may still be preserved.
