I got a few extra batteries, but would love an extended battery that has the water seal on it, Hyperion has the battery but the backing will not help me in the water. Any idea's, links?
thanks
You might need to look for a protective overall case that is water resistant.
Hyperion is up front about saying that their back door does not maintain the water seal.

ohh, I know, it does not have the seal and everyhing, I am looking for a back that would have the seal. I know there are several bag's that work, but lets face it, jumping into a pool with your phone, so much cooler.. anywho. for now, I'm using batteries depending on my situations.
Mugen has 5900 mAh battery and cover supporting Qi charging. They say they are working on waterproof cover which will send to all customers. (It might take them few weeks, but from experience - they do not lie.)

Where do you see the waterproof statement? I found the battery and that looks awesome, but i would like the waterproffness.
Extended cover adds QI Wireless Charging functionality to Galaxy S5. It is not waterproof. We are now working on waterproof cover, which will not include QI wireless charging. All people ordering Mugen Power Extended Battery for Galaxy S5 now will get waterproof version of the cover once it is available free of charge!

I want to add some weight and more protection for the battery door, and I would like to have metal or hard glass/acryl-like battery door. Is there such replacements available?
You could opt for the extended battery that verizon sells.

Highly reccomend the Verizon OEM kickstand case, adds "just enough" bulk to the phone to protect it, fit finish is excellent, and it provides a very functional kickstand! And at less than <$10 on eBay it's a no brainer to me.

this?
it sure looks sexy with the carbon print...but it's a case not a battery door, so I'll consider that one if I can't find any replacement battery door.
where did you get it for less than $10? the cheapest one I found was that link

Ah...I like the one that I mistakenly found, but that thing is only $5 so I guess ill skip a big mac and buy that one to see how it holds up.
But is there a replacement battery door? Not for extended battery but regular size...in metal or graphite or some sort
Manufacturers don't really make battery covers for the regular battery, but Aaron636r (his thread should be in this subforum) is selling stickers for the battery cover and also a carbon-vinyl covered battery cover as well. Might want to check that out. His thread his named 'made my own vinyl cover'

I checked out his sticker and it looks very good, but the main purpose for me was to add weight without modifying or putting a case...but I guess that's unavailable. Ill just go ahead and buy the OEM carbon print Kickstand case for the design and some extra weight. Thanks for the help!

I have that case and I love it cause it's pimp!
I would love to get a titanium replacement battery cover for my Fascinate. Gorilla Glass up front, Ti on the rear (instead of cheap plastic).
That would be awesome.
The kickstand case that was first posted is wayy better looking than the OEM one imo
Would also like to replace the chromed plastic trim ring around the front with a titanium part, though it would probably be less shock absorbing. I dropped my fascinate on a concrete sidewalk once and now it's dinged on the corner. No other apparent damage, thank goodness!
would love to have those covers with kick stand unfortunately it wont fit on the car cradle
that ****ty silver metal looking paint...i actually carefully chipped it off well at least the cover coat and used nail polish remover with q tips and a towel and got all of it off leaving this shiny black plastic. looks fantastic.
i think there is a thread about doing it but id didnt want to use sandpaper and brush away the shine of the plastic underneath. i noticed that with places that the cover coating of the silver paint got chipped off (around the mini usb, headphone jack, and a spot where it dot nicked off) it chips off fairly easy. try at your own risk though
ive tried so many cases and havnt found one i liked yet. none of them fit in my pocket
id like to see a battery cover replacement specially glass that would be bada$$

Just picked this up. I have the Hyperion battery, but this case still works fine since both have the same battery and back door.
The case is great. $7 and it's the nice smooth tpu, not that cheap honeycomb crap fake of a tpu case that Hyperion makes.
This is nice to hear. I have a Hyperion 4200 mah battery on the way and this exact Qcell TPU case, so hopefully I have the same experience with it.
I got the white back cover with the hyperion (didn't realize they had black ones at the time) and the black TPU case, so I may just paint the hyperion back cover black if the color difference bothers me that much lol.

If you have the case on the phone you won't see it. Lol. No need to paint. I have a blue back on my Hyperion.
Chiming in. It's a bit expensive but the Seidio surface extended battery cover and case will work with the normal extended holster if you opted for one of those at the time of purchase(go by the name of pt or platinum as well).
Best combo, but expensive and fits the 4500mah battery

I have a QCell extended battery, but I don't use it. The battery cover interferes with the camera flash. I think it's because the flash and camera lens are surrounded by the back, and peek out of holes in the cover. It's something I've noticed on both mine and my wife's phones.
That seidio case looks like it wouldn't have that problem, because the camera and flash are not surrounded by case. Do you happen to know if it would work with the QCell 4200mAh battery? Also, I can see where to order the case on Amazon, but I don't seem to see the battery cover. Where can I get that (assuming it would work with the QCell battery, of course)?

The Seidio battery door + case will work with the 4200 mah batteries from QCell, Hyperion (and Anker i think?). The reason why its superior is because the battery door and the case taper out/bulge out slightly where the battery is. The top and bottom are absolutely flat similiar to stock. So with the flat upper area its essentially the same stock Camera and Flash visibility with the ability to hold the extended battery.
I actually did a review on this under the AT&T section with pictures and information on how to order the battery door separately without a bulk battery purchase.

Thanks. I'm going to get the battery cover and the case with the kickstand (miss my Evo kickstand). I contacted Seidio and asked about the battery door, and they said that I could order one from them for 14.95 plus S&H. The case is on Amazon. Early Christmas present!
I had a Seidio extended battery and case for my Evo, and I loved it. Great products! Expensive, but great!

To order just the battery back cover/panel you need to call Seidio Customer service (phone number is on their website).
When you speak to a representative, advise them that you are interested in purchasing battery door for the Galaxy S3: (Product Code below).

Hi, I'm using Anker 5200 battery for my S4, which is great. However i dont like that my phone is unprotected on the screen. Is there any extended cases for a 5200 mah battery that you can suggest?

Seido just released their Active extended case that is built for their 4500 mah battery. There is a good possibility that it might fit. Would be interesting to see. I'm currently using my 2 zerolemon 3000 mah batteries with my qi wireless charging receiver and random cases and it works great together. I can usually go 10-18 hrs depending on use during the day at work. My wifi, bluetooth and gps run all day, everyday.
It looks a little bit bulky, and yes i know the extended battery is big too, but i bought a slim case for S3 for my extended battery and that was really slim
I have also seen some on ebay, but the quality of them are always very low ( have tried them)
poeywas stock

Have you taken a look at Incipio's offGRID case?
I'm not sure how well it will protect the front of your screen but it definitely looks pretty slim and has a front attachment that may act like a bumper (I'll post more once I get my review unit in).

Yes, I am also looking for a protective case to fit the various 5200 mah batteries that are available.
The Incipio's offGRID case is a case that contains an auxiliary battery but not meant to fit over an extended in phone battery.
The Seido Active extended case is very bulky and may interfere with auto dashboard mounts and the Wilson Sleek amplifier.
Does such a battery exist? I have been looking through several reviews of batteries and I don't see any that keep the water resistance. Not sure if this is a deal breaker for me or not.
Also in the past I have liked the Seidio set up since it seemed to be the only/best option for a protective case that fit an extended battery. It doesn't look like they have one for the S5 yet. anyone know if they are planning on introducing one?
Bob
Another option for a case to fit an extended battery is a TPU case for the Hyperion 6500 mAh battery. No water resistance however.
Basically I'm aware that there are many Samsung Galaxy S5 extended batteries, and a couple ways to get it to charge wirelessly&retain NFC, but it's usually one or the other.
There is a MUGEN case with 5900 mah that is supposed to charge wirelessly, but it looks cheap and it has a lot of negative reviews, mostly due to poor case quality.
I'd rather buy one of the receivers, like S5 SlimPWRcard, but they also have a lot of negative reviews. Also, I don't know if it will work with one of the extended batteries.
I'm looking for a 3000-5000 mah battery that doesn't look ridiculous and has mostly positive feedback (hyperion maybe) and a way to make it charge wirelessly as I hate flapping the charging port cover. Probably a decent qi receiver that doesn't cause a bulge on the back.
Cheers.
i have the original extended battery from samsung.
i have installed SlimPWRcard and it works great to charge the extended battery.
caveat: you will need a bumper or a TPU shell, because the cover for the extended battery barely has enough space to accomodate the SlimPWRcard receiver.
Ive wondered the same thing.
But it seems all those 'sandwich' style Qi charging coils are just Not very reliable.
Theyre essentially hack jobs.
I prefer the original size battery and the genuine Samsung Qi charging cover.
Unfortunately, that Qi cover does make the phone extra thick and heavy.
Which in turn, means that buying a full phone case is nearly impossible.
Fortunately, theres 2 or 3 makers who make such niche phone cases.
Such as the "Diztronic Full Matte Black Flexible TPU Case Exclusively Compatible with Samsung Wireless Charging Cover for Galaxy S5" ..... available from Amazon.
