Hi, I'm using Anker 5200 battery for my S4, which is great. However i dont like that my phone is unprotected on the screen. Is there any extended cases for a 5200 mah battery that you can suggest?

Seido just released their Active extended case that is built for their 4500 mah battery. There is a good possibility that it might fit. Would be interesting to see. I'm currently using my 2 zerolemon 3000 mah batteries with my qi wireless charging receiver and random cases and it works great together. I can usually go 10-18 hrs depending on use during the day at work. My wifi, bluetooth and gps run all day, everyday.
It looks a little bit bulky, and yes i know the extended battery is big too, but i bought a slim case for S3 for my extended battery and that was really slim
I have also seen some on ebay, but the quality of them are always very low ( have tried them)
poeywas stock

I have seen a 4200mAh external battery case, not tested though.

Have you taken a look at Incipio's offGRID case?
I'm not sure how well it will protect the front of your screen but it definitely looks pretty slim and has a front attachment that may act like a bumper (I'll post more once I get my review unit in).

Yes, I am also looking for a protective case to fit the various 5200 mah batteries that are available.
The Incipio's offGRID case is a case that contains an auxiliary battery but not meant to fit over an extended in phone battery.
The Seido Active extended case is very bulky and may interfere with auto dashboard mounts and the Wilson Sleek amplifier.

Just picked this up. I have the Hyperion battery, but this case still works fine since both have the same battery and back door.
The case is great. $7 and it's the nice smooth tpu, not that cheap honeycomb crap fake of a tpu case that Hyperion makes.
This is nice to hear. I have a Hyperion 4200 mah battery on the way and this exact Qcell TPU case, so hopefully I have the same experience with it.
I got the white back cover with the hyperion (didn't realize they had black ones at the time) and the black TPU case, so I may just paint the hyperion back cover black if the color difference bothers me that much lol.

If you have the case on the phone you won't see it. Lol. No need to paint. I have a blue back on my Hyperion.
Chiming in. It's a bit expensive but the Seidio surface extended battery cover and case will work with the normal extended holster if you opted for one of those at the time of purchase(go by the name of pt or platinum as well).
Best combo, but expensive and fits the 4500mah battery

I have a QCell extended battery, but I don't use it. The battery cover interferes with the camera flash. I think it's because the flash and camera lens are surrounded by the back, and peek out of holes in the cover. It's something I've noticed on both mine and my wife's phones.
That seidio case looks like it wouldn't have that problem, because the camera and flash are not surrounded by case. Do you happen to know if it would work with the QCell 4200mAh battery? Also, I can see where to order the case on Amazon, but I don't seem to see the battery cover. Where can I get that (assuming it would work with the QCell battery, of course)?

The Seidio battery door + case will work with the 4200 mah batteries from QCell, Hyperion (and Anker i think?). The reason why its superior is because the battery door and the case taper out/bulge out slightly where the battery is. The top and bottom are absolutely flat similiar to stock. So with the flat upper area its essentially the same stock Camera and Flash visibility with the ability to hold the extended battery.
I actually did a review on this under the AT&T section with pictures and information on how to order the battery door separately without a bulk battery purchase.

the link in the op was to mobile amazon, here's the same post on regular amazon: [ goo.gl/t9ZI4 ]

Thanks. I'm going to get the battery cover and the case with the kickstand (miss my Evo kickstand). I contacted Seidio and asked about the battery door, and they said that I could order one from them for 14.95 plus S&H. The case is on Amazon. Early Christmas present!
I had a Seidio extended battery and case for my Evo, and I loved it. Great products! Expensive, but great!

To order just the battery back cover/panel you need to call Seidio Customer service (phone number is on their website).
When you speak to a representative, advise them that you are interested in purchasing battery door for the Galaxy S3: (Product Code below).
Product Code: BVY35SSGS3-BK
Link to the case.

Anyone have this case to know if it will fit with another battery? $70 for 4500 mah is a bit much to me. Don't get me wrong, Seidio is a great company IMO, but I don't make enough to merit 70$ haha.
So I was thinking the Hyperion 5200 mah battery would be great...but I hate TPU cases. So...if it could fit with the Active Extended...that would be the perfect setup for my S4.
Anyone have experience with it?
Thanks
That case just went to "Now shipping" status today (I've been watching it; last night it was "coming soon"), so I doubt anyone has it yet. It too occurred to me that the Hyperion/Onite/Anker batteries may fit, but since I've found Seidio to be such great quality and likely true to it's rating, I sprung for their battery. Having said that the others probably would fit, especially if you removed the back cover.

Well, I agree the brand is good. But 4500 just seems a bit low for 70 bucks
The thing with Seidio Extended is that they only make the case for the their extended battery cover. . So although some cases may look similar it may not fit the Seidio Extended Case. Just something to think about.

You can call Seidio and order the battery door for their extended batteries for around $14.95. I have an S3 with a Hyperion battery and the Seidio Active Extended Case. I'm trying to check the dimensions of the Hyperion S4 battery, but have read that the Anker one is the same size as the Innocell that Seidio sells for that ridiculous price.
Hello, I have a Galaxy S4 and was thinking of buying an extended battery. I use my phone a lot and it normally doesn't last all the way through the day for me. I also go on trips a lot where an extended battery would really help. I'm thinking of buying either a Hyperion or a Zerolemon 7500mah battery, although a 5200mah one isn't out of the question. I heard that the very big batteries cover the antennae and speaker, and I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this. What kind of battery should I get? Any help is appreciated.
I went with the Hyperion extended battery on Amazon and I bought the black TPU case. The phone still fits in my belt cases too. Some of my belt cases allow me to fit the phone with the Hyperion TPU case on as well. My speaker and antenna are good as well. I didn't GI with the ZeroLemon because I thought it was just a little bit too big and I wouldn't have been able to fit it in my leather belt cases (black and brown) that I use 80% of the time.

I use the trident electra Case that has a built in 2600mah battery to add to your standard battery when you need it. Gives you effectively 5200mah with a nice case as well.

Hi,
I have the Hyperion 5200 with the Seido extended case.
I think it's the perfect setup. Great battery life(normal 2 1/2 days use).
The Seido case is also nice, with kickstand. Not too heavy.
Ken
I recently read about the Hyperion battery which basically allows you to swap your existing battery for an 8000 mAh battery, and comes with a different case. I think the stock battery is something like 3250mAh.
What other batteries are out for the Galaxy Note 4 and in what capacities? I'm not asking for charging boxes. Secondly, are there any cases available to fit these larger battery packs?

There's Zerolemon extended battery 10k mah (I think) which is like a brick but it is a rugged case (many users have problems with the battery calibration. Mugen Extended battery with qi charging and a stand but has no TPU cases available, no protection whatsoever.
I like the Hyperion 8k because it offers a TPU case and it also doesn't add much bulk
Waiting for my Hyperion to arrive. Zerolemon is too bulky and with all that battery reading issues i've decided to go with less capacity but more comfort.
I'm no stranger to bulk. I currently use a UAG case and I love the size. I'm wondering how they compare in size.
I was disappointed with the battery life from the standard battery - much worse than my Note 2.
So I bought the Anker double size battery. It seems to do the job OK and the replacement back fits well. But I would like to have a folding case.
Has anyone bought or seen a case that will fit?

i'm looking at that battery right now and the zero lemon 10k and the mugen. the one thing tipping me towards the ZL is the case they provide with theirs
Yes I looked at the ZL and its case. I had two concerns about that.
One that it was just a bit too thick and heavy for my use, and the other is that being wider than the original battery it covers up the phone and GPS antennas. I'd need to be convinced that it didn't affect their performance.
The 6440 batteries are no wider than the original, just thicker so they can't affect the antennas.
I have the Manna case for my Note 2. I bought one the same style for the Note 4 but of course it won't fit with the thicker battery. I would like something similar that will fit with the Anker.
